'I know, i thought you were in trouble.......' Nightfire said looking at Snow.

"well, its obvious she isn't! this is wonderful news! i'll go tell Bluefire and Blackshadow whats going on!" she said, then she walked out

'What should we name it?' Nightfire asked. Snow looked at it, then looked out the window and smiled.
'Why not after you're dad? Nightfire.' Nightfire was a little shocked by this, but knew how kind she was being.
'Silro it is then..............'

Fireflight had told Bluefire and Blackshadow what was going on, they had decided to give them some privacy

OOC: Im gonna watch Eragon now, it finished downloading yesterday.

It was the fifth day since the egg had been laied, but it still hadnt hatched. Snow had begun to worry. She knew that egg's normally took around a week, bu it still didnt stop her from worrying. She went outside to calm down, to get her mind of the stress. She spent half an hour outside before going back to her room. She sat down nex to the egg, waiting till it would hatch.

Fireflight went to her room, she walked in to check on her, "is everything ok Snow?" she asked

'Yeah......but im scared........what if it doesnt hatch?' She said.

OOC: I think windows 2000 will be my new PC's os, it's brilliant!!

Fireflight looked at her, "of coarse it will hatch! it has to, did you think of any names that you like?" she asked

'But.......im scared............what if doesnt?' She said. She then walked out of the room.

Fireflight looked down at the egg, she remembered getting Blackshadow's egg, then she got worried, it took Balckshadow a long time to hatch

'Fireflight? Whats wrong with Snow? She seems.........troubled' Nightfire asked.

Fireflight looked at Nightfire, "shes afraid that the egg won't hacth"

'Well.............i suppose........that is something to worry about tehn.' He said as he walked off.

*why dose everyone think it won't hacth? its an egg, it has to hacth!* she thought, then she looked back down at the egg
"please little egg, if you can hear me, please hacth! your parents are getting worried! if you can hear me, then please hacth!" she said, she wasn't sure if it would work, but she had to try something

OOC: Spelt Does, just give me a sec, not sure what to write, plus im getting 10000000000 updates for 2000

Anything before Vista needs 1000000000 updates before you can acctully use it!!

Later that night, everyone had fallen to sleep. Snow was having another dream. In her dream, she kept hearing the cracking noise of a cliff, and something moving. But theese felt relaxing to her, to be by herself and just listen to nature. She then heard an unusual crack, which made her wake up. She woke up looking around, and she thought it was a normal night. She looked back to see the egg was missing. She began to worry, but stopped when she heard something behind her. She looked and saw a small, black hatchling. It didnt speak, but make some noises which she couldnt understand. It then walked towards her, cuddling next to her, still making noises.

Bluefire and Blackshadow were still alseep, but Fireflight had woken up, she thought she heard something, she looked around, everything looked the same, she figured that it was probally nothing so she went back to sleep

OOC: trust windows................put a nice part in then it doesnt post it.

The hatchling soon found a nice warm spot by his mother and soon went to sleep. Snow was so happy and releived that he had hatched, but wondered wether to tell the others or not. She decided that as it was late, she would tell them i the morning. She put her arm round her new born son and went back to sleep.

the next morning Fireflight was up early, she was reading some books in the library
"what are you doing?" asked Bluefire, as he walked in
"i'm reading books on eggs" she said
"eggs? why?" he asked
"because Snow's egg hasn't hatched yet, and shes worried it won't"
"oh, i'll help you look" he said, picking up a book
"whats going on in here?" asked blackshadow
"its an egg book hunt, want to join us?" said Bluefire
"sure! i have nothing else to do!" he said, picking up a book

They were then interuppted by a small creature flying in, but very badly. It made the same noises as last night. After badly flying round the room, it went out the door and into Snow's room again.

Fireflight stopped reading when she saw that
"did you two see what i saw?" she asked, they nodded thier heads, "ok, i'm going to go see whats going on" she said, then she went to Snow's room "Snow, is everything ok?" she asked

Fireflight saw the hatchling that just flew round her cuddling next to Snow with his eye's shut, however he wasnt sleeping. Snow had her arm round him.
'Shhh.........i think he might be sleeping' Snow said, smiling.

"the egg hatched!" she asked, then she walked in to look at him, she was happy that it hacthed, "so, what's his name?"

'We decided to name him after Nightfire's dad.' She replied, quietly.

Fireflight liked the name Silro, but it brought back alot of memories for her
"thats a nice name" she said, then she slowly and quietly walked away

OOC: Wow, not got good parts at the moment and nothing springs to mind

Nah...............i'll come up with something

ok, then write something!

OOC: Ok ok ok! I'll write something.

'Wait, Fireflight. Can i ask you something?' Snow asked.

Fireflight turned around, "sure, what is it?" she asked

'Well.............i know this sounds silly...............but.............Nightfire doesnt know he's hatched yet.' She said, looking back at Silro. Silro made some more noises again, opening his eyes. 'And i know he's going to be happy about it...................but.............' She said, closing her eyes and looking away.

Fireflight looked at her, "whats wrong?" she asked

'No.............never mind................i'll..........i'll be fine' She said still with her eye's closed.

"you don't look fine, tell me whats wrong"

'I dont know if he's the father!!...........sorry, i dint mean that.......' She said, looking away again.

Fireflight looked at her, "well, we could find out for sure if your really worried about it"

'No...............i just............dont want him to know.' Snow said.
'It's ok, i understand........' Nightfire said, coming up behind her. Snow looked around in shock.

Fireflight looked at them, "you'll probally want to talk in private, i'll keep an eye on Silro if you don't mind" she said

Snow raised her arm and the little hatchling ran towards Fireflight, making noises along the way. Fireflight then left the room.

Fireflight took took the hatchling to see Bluefire and Blackshadow who were still in the library they were still reading but looked up when they heard them come in
"Fireflight.............." said Blackshadow confused
"this is Silro, Snow's son" she said
"oh, Snow's son! the egg finally hatched!" said Bluefire
"yep! i'm babysitting while Snow talks to Nightfire"
"what are they talking about?" Blackshadow asked
"don't worry about it"
"ok" he said

'I...............I dont know what to say' Snow said confused. 'One half wants to tell you, the other doesnt'
'Tell me what?'
'Well...................Im not sure...............and i think im wrong about it.................but...............i think.....Cyan could be the father.'

the three of them took care of Silro, who was running around all over the room, they were having fun playing him
"this kid is fast!" said Blackshadow, he sat down because he was tired
"your telling me" said Bluefire, he sat down next to him
"its still fun though!" said Fireflight ,she was running around the room after him, the guys soon joined her, once they got thier energy back

'What do you mean he could be?' He was being very calm at this point, because if it turned out to be true, it would have been his fault for letting Cyan near her ealier.
