Well, no, Viva Pinata is owned by Rare, who is owned by Microsoft. There's something about how Microsoft let Rare make handheld games, due to Microsoft not having a handheld division, but nothing more than that - and not since Viva Pinata DS. That said, Rare are pretty much dead now, or at least, not what they used to be. Heck, even their biggest fan site shut down three years ago, because they weren't happy with what had happened to Rare.

So, I wouldn't put too much stock into seeing Viva Pinata on anything that is not Xbox.

And apparently the Soritiba people found in the URL can translate to something relating to horses. (Soriti Horse, I think)

I'm starting to think that the new announcement isn't Pokemon related...

It probably isn't...Though it may have to do with horses.....

x and y better be good. i've already bought a 3ds and posting from it now.

And it's been confirmed that Fennekin is just plain fire type in it's first form.

You can, but your comment puts off that all because Fennekin knows Glow Punch, it "automatically" makes it a Fire/Fighting with no official confirmation.

most punch moves are fighting
weve had three fire/fighting already
the fact that it for no apparent reason uses a punch move
most quadrapeds dont use punches, so it could easily stand up on hind legs.


There is as much to warrant it as Fire/Fighting as there is to not.

I thought Fennekin was a starter, and starters are only one type... Right? I have no idea what I'm talking about. DX

Most starters start out with one type, Fire, Grass, and Water, except Bulbasaur who is Poison/Grass. It's only when they evolve into their second forms do most of them get secondary types.

Or third evolution, Piplup got it's Steel Type during its Final Stage, same with Charizard for Flying.

The fact that we've had three Fire/Fighting types already is exactly why we need a change. Anything would be better than having the same combination again. I mean, it is a good combo, and I do like all the Fire type starters, but enough is enough. We need something new.
