It'll be okay, Target is one of the better stocked stores, or at least my local one is.
I have a feeling though that what i call "well stocked" people from the US would call empty lol.

Interestingly enough, (or not interesting at all lol) Target in Australia is not associated with Target in the US

ha yeah, my ebgames had 3 on pegs last time i was there, lots of 2nd hand figures though.

A manager at Target told me that Target gets 40% of all the skylanders stock in Australia. I don't know how true it is, but my local target always has plenty of stock.

Sounds like it's not a bad deal after all. I'm sure if there are problems we'll definitely hear.

I only buy at Target and occasionally Kmart, not because of loyalty but because of stock/selection/price.

I don't like EB Games or TRU as I only like being ripped off by one company at a time (activision in this case). I would buy at Big W but there are no local stores near me.

My local EB Games is stocked to the brim with Jolly Bumble Blast and Enchanted Star Strike xD they also have a lot of rare preowned figures too.

Also I mentioned in another thread, the Point Cook EB Games store in Victoria has a Scarlet Ninjini and heaps of other stuff if anybody is interested. I picked up a LC Shroomboom and a preowned (and slightly worn) Swarm while I was there ;v; so glad I got Shroomboom though

Don't know if this is any use to anyone, but Target Australia website has a handful of 'Landers on sale.

Was able to grab Sheep Wreck AP for $14 and a handful of figures (currently $9 for swappers, $7 for others). The 3-pack with Scratch is sold out already though, sadly.


Also, for anyone still looking to preorder the TT starter pack and not interested in any preorder bonuses, Dick Smiths has it for preorder, $70. So far, it's the cheapest deal I've seen.

Aw.. I was hunting to find perfect trap box while waiting for trap team and they have the perfect box out.. I guess next time probably need to wait till the accessory and the game come out first..

Hey Aussie and Kiwi skylander fans; mightyape.co.nz (or .com.au) have listed all the Wave 1 Trap Masters, single core packs, triple packs and the Nightmare express pack for pre-order.

Note for Aussies; Trap Team doesn't release in NZ until the 8th of October, so if you ordered from MightyApe; you'd have to wait a little longer.

i got the target catalogue in the mail yesterday, only thing new in it is that the gill grunt/runt buddy pack is $20.
no triple trap packs in target or big w, target has the two triple packs and the adventure pack for $24.

I posted targets prices a few posts up.

Haven't seen anything on Triple pack traps from anyone yet.

not that i have seen, i assumed it was going to be at target, but it wasn't in the catalogue.

Tru aren't doing skylanders or DI anymore.

The legendary trap would probably be at bigw,

the mini comic pack isn't being released until November in the US so hopefully we get it then

Anyone get JB to price match and give Preorder trap? Getting so irked they say 'preorder bonus' and sell as an exclusive and say cannot price match. Eb did it with their 2.0 Disney infinity bonus too.

My JB didn't get the bonus traps in yet. I just used a 20% off voucher from I got from doing the 1 month trial of JB Hifi now.

as far as i know it has always happened if something comes with a pre-order bonus, they count it as an exclusive bundle.

My local Target Big W and Kmart had no traps at all today, ebgames and JBhifi did though, but they both were only price matching the 3 specific ones in the target catalogue. Big W was sold out of Legendary Jawbreaker at 9am when i got there , they had 1 Legendary adventure pack left though, thankfully.

Did a walk around of the shops at 10am before heading home and there was pretty much nothing left, a couple of wildfires, wallops and shroom boom singles that was about it.

Jb really messed up there trap bonus because mine didn't have it either and nobody knew about it but the games manager recalled hearing something about it then when hunting for it to find out that they where on there way

Both target and bigw where still putting stock out at 9am which was bad since they both open at 8:30am

Managed to snag everything in S.A. But guessing that nitro krypt king wasn't released as I didn't see him on my travels. Anyone have news as to when he'll be available?

I honestly think JB should call it a preorder bundle, the wording that was on the site said nothing. Oh well 10 bucks for Brawl and Chain variant is kind of OK.

Definitely better than riot shield shredder prices.

For those who did not pre order at jb hi fi you can still buy the outlaw brawl and chain separately, my store have over 100 and where behind the register.

I talked with one of the Activision guys about Wave 2 at EB Expo, he said that Wave 2 will be released when enough of Wave 1 has been sold through, so probably sometime in November.

Man gearshifts in Australia are so expensive particularly if you can't pick them up. I am so annoyed about it that I am completely turned off the figure.

It is going to be released in one of the last waves. Her availability at the moment is purely for preorders ans events etc. This was just an early bird promotion.

Last time I checked Gearshift works out at an OK price from Amazon, good place to get Bumbleblast too. Thinking on getting wave 2 from there too but too particular about paint apps to leave it up to chance.

i got light core bumble blast and quickdraw rattlesnake from amazon, total was $45, much cheaper than ebay.

i looked at getting all of wave 2 from amazon, but the postage was $50, and for just the 3 trap masters it was $20, and for 1 trap master $10 postage.

i'll be waiting for retail release, as annoying as it'll be, and reserve amazon for purchases that are unavailable here.

I got luck and won my gearshift on ebay for $21 shipped. I also went to eb the other day and just missed out on a pre owned Ultimate Kaos trap by an hour. It would of only been $5 as well.
