I checked the Walmart by me for those Sidekicks bags last night and had no luck. I only saw bags with coupons for board games.

No luck for me either...

As we hunt for our sidekicks bags, use the expiration date as a guideline. The promo bags have an expiration date of Aug 28. The stores are obviously gonna push old stock before they put out the new. The last I checked, my stores chips expiration date was Aug 18, so I assume another week or so before the "newer" stock gets put out. My local super Walmart actually had a huge display at the front of the store, an entire end cap, and a ton down the chip aisle...all non-sidekicks bags. I am thinking I need to check a store with less stock on hand, lol.

My store has blue bags. Not many though. Probably going to get Gil Runt.

Yesterday I bought a bag of skylanders chips (plus the red drill sergeant).

I got another bag, but this time...

It doesn't specify to my knowledge, and the UPC is the barcode the store clerk scans when you buy it

Deadline is November 12th.

$117 is a bit much for something that hasnt started yet. Its like the blue bash. Oh $50 from a scalper. Whoops Toys R US got restocked. Damn $11. Same thing why pay more when theyre going to be coming out all summer? The only good thing from it is you can get all four instead of the wacky number system Frito-lay has going. Still a little patients. At least. A pox on those four bids!

I see this as hype. People are going to be disappointed by the figures when they receive them. It won't do much in the game like the volcanic vault. It would be better if they unlocked another level.

The first Sidekicks on Evilbay sold for a LOT more than the ones currently on there...

Well, I just got my second FSS. :3 Still haven't found any sidekick bags. But, I got the sidekick cards + UPCs in mail that I ordered off ebay. I got the person to lower the price. [As I previously mentioned. xD] Lol. Some people on ebay are surprisingly VERY nice. So, thanks to them I'll get some sidekicks. I'ma still be looking for the bags. since my lil bro wants these things. If anyone lives around casselbarry. [Florida] And; finds these, lemme know. 'Cuz, then I can get a few for him.

you have to ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING to get these.

People whining because they are demanding 9 fss is getting rather old. They got one, but are complaining because they haven't received their 8 other COMPLETELY FREE Skylanders. Just be happy you got the first one for free and with absolutely no effort.

The sidekicks are for those who want to collect the figure or those who find them cute/appealing. If filling out an envelope, order form and check are too much effort, then this promo isn't for you.

After waiting 9 weeks, I just got my flocked Stump Smash yesterday. I only won once on this one. On the other line, I won 3 times, but only received one skylander character.

Found them at the Target by me in Minnesota yesterday. Some of them also had a coupon stuck to them which was $2 off when you buy two bags. So I bought four of them and mailed them this morning. The mailing address for this promo is Young America, MN so they should get there tomorrow!

Couldn't have said it better myself! I'm glad to know its necessary to mail in money/cards this go around. I didn't get the FSS I won (I only won one btw, not sweating it though no worries) So I feel better knowing that I'll actually be getting my prize this go around.

I take my time when I walk. xD So, I screwed myself over right there. I'll wait till like the 10th or 15th to look again. Or if I stop by some where, then I'll take a peek. But, I wont go searching till like the 10th or 15th. And; I wont send out my cards till around then.

if that were me, i would've grabbed the kid and say "NO MY... SKYLANDERS..." then destroy him with a lazer blast of awesomeness while exploding into a cloud of skylanders and other kick @$$ toys.

I caught a Frito Lay employee at Walmart yesterday, he said he knew nothing about the promo (and that he learns of promos when he stocks the bags, pretty much) but he was restocking the the next day. Today Walmart restocked with... normal bags.
The expiration on the purple bags was Aug. 28th so non-promo bags share the expiration too.

Kinda weird it's taking so long when they have a distribution center so close to here o.O

Our Walmart has quite a few of these, but I only had $14 OTL But I got two! I'm gonna go for Terrabite and Whisper Elf first, since I assume they'll be the ones everyone wants. xD

However, what I want to know is, on the mail in forms it says "Limit a total of 4 figures per household". Does this mean just sending in 4 is the max amount at one time or will they be keeping a record and not send you anymore past four regardless of sending more forms in at different times. 3:

Just filled out four checks (the first checks we've used since we opened this account!), four cards and four envelopes. My fingers hurt.

I'm going to send at least one of these with delivery confirmation. Between that and seeing when the check is processed, I'm curious in tracking the process of these figures.

I have a question. Why does everyone think it would be okay to send all 4 cards, plus 4 UPC's and 4 checks or money orders, in the same envelope?

Wouldn't they want to receive each order seperately?
