After looking at a few sites, Wikipedia is the only one that says about potential release in the US. Serebii & Bulbapedia don't have anything noting a definitive release outside of Japan. From what I'm reading, it's more of a "we're thinking about it" but it isn't truly confirmed if it will be.

I highly agree with this. At this point it's more 50/50 as to if we do. Japan has another Pokemon arcade system that never left Japanese shores, why should this be different? Even then, when Tretta did get a 3DS port, we still didn't get it. If we do eventually get Pokken Tournament, it would likely be a WiiU port. Assuming they even make one.

If we were to get a port than Japan would have to get one and that's unfair to arcades.

I feel like the only reason Tretta didn't get a port here is because there's a market for Tretta in Japan. They sell the accessories for Tretta only in Pokemon Centers in Japan iirc, and there really wouldn't be a way to sell the Tretta chips here. It's kind of the reason why Rumble U failed figure wise, and only had one shipment of figures.

True, so I do feel Pokken Tournament has a slightly better chance at getting released over here than Tretta did, though it's still no where near the 95% Windumup was claiming. It still provided a good example of how not every Pokemon game gets a worldwide release seeing as how it was an Arcade machine originally much like how Pokken Tournament is.

That was rather a shame. I was disappointed when those figures quit showing up in stores after a couple of months. Kind of wanted to find a couple more figures, but oh well. I still managed to get Eevee, Darkrai, & Litwick which were my favorites of the bunch.

Mega Rayquaza is broken as ****.

It has brave bird which surprisingly does decent damage.

But if you want a counter to M-rayquaza just use Scarf Xerneas.
