Sybil was losing his patience. She tried very hard to talk him out of that dumb obsession.
"Come on Shadow! Can't you see how pointless this all is!? Why couldn't you live your own life at your own home? Why can't you leave us alone? Why does everybody else's misery is what will make you happy!?" Sybil demanded to know, not understanding why Shadow was so keen on conquering not only the Haven, but Hunted island too. And his non-dying obsession of getting to Rose. It was driving her crazy.

Saris simply said to Warren "I bid good luck to Shadow." and left to line up with the komodos.

Shi called out to him as he left "be safe" Guardian started to cough violently again and Shi rushed over to him "easy daddy easy."

Guardian soon stopped coughing long enough to say "don't worry I'll be fine" and then begins coughing again. Shi sighed "the wolverine hurt him pritty badly. according to Jack Dad's got a few cuts on his heart and a damaged lung. combine that with the injuries that got sowed up it doesn't look good."

Warren wondered why he would wish good luck to him. Did he plan to make him pay severely? Whatever the case, Warren didn't follow him. All that panic was making him hungry, so he left to find some food before thinking of a way that he could help, even with all his cowardliness.
"If only the dingos were our allies. We could have an advantage." he said as he flew low to find food, knowing that the Haven residents were at a huge disadvantage with the drought and the orcas away.

"Because I like a challenge to my army." Shadow said.

"Is that it? That's the stupidest reason ever!" Sybil replied, but before Shadow could rebuff her, one of the warblers approached Shadow. It was none other than Peepers, the warbler that he almost ate once years ago.
"This again Shadow? You know I'm sad for you? Because you keep doing that almost as if you have to prove something. We are happy here Shadow, all we want is peace, but if it's a fight you want, we'll give it to you, and we'll not be as merciful as last time." Peepers explained, he too getting tired of the Komodo dragons's obsession. He was several meters away from him, but was trying to approach a bit more to demonstrate he wasn't afraid of him anymore.

Guardian continued to cough "don't *cough* you're pretty *cough cough* little *cough* head about it *cough cough hack cough*"

Soon Sozen reached Sayan. "Sayan I'm here to take you to safety."

Cole continued to erase the trace.
"Go ahead Mr. Sayan. Go with him. I'll handle things here." Cole said kindly, not stopping his work. He knew Rose needed to be with Sayan.

Peepers gave one step backwards, but then remained put, wanting to show to everybody and himself that his fear of Shadow was over.
"I'm warning you sir. We will fight!" he repeated, trying to look intimidating, but it was pathetic. As Shadow approached, the other warblers paralyzed with fear, including Sybil, who from the whale shark, was begging to Peepers through sign languages to leave. The warblers were simply too peaceful to fight, and the keas left to Hunted island to attack, so they were the only birds there. Sybil had the chance to just jump off the whale shark and escape, but as long as Whirlpool was within the army's grasp, she couldn't do a thing. It was a desperate situation. Plus, the warblers finally saw the wombat, and understood why Sybil wasn't doing anything.

Peepers gave the sign to make the warblers attack... but even with all the respect they had for him, they didn't do a thing. With peas and pebbles as weapons, if they attacked the dragons, it was going to feel like a simply hail storm to them. And if they tried to peck them, they would risk their lives, not to mention their beaks couldn't do much damage.
"Come on Shadow! Just leave them alone. You have what you want." Sybil said, disappointed but understanding why they didn't attack.

At Hunted island, the keas tried to find the Komodo dragons to attack.
"You're wasting your time." Barloc said almost from out of nowhere, the keas knowing what he meant.
"Listen, Shadow took Whirlpool hostage! If you guys attack, I'm afraid he might kill him." he said to the parrot army, now finally understanding the gravity of the situation. But now what could they do? They couldn't just sit there without doing nothing.

ooc: don't forget to have Rose repond to Guardian.

"The solution is simple. We rescue both Whirlpool and miss Sybil and Shadow won't have someone to blackmail us with." the leading kea said, but of course, tat was easier said than done. It was evident to think that the army wasn't going to let them out of their sight so easily, so they organize themselves to think of a rescue plan that could work...

Now Sybil had to fear for her life itself, but unlike Whirlpool, she wasn't being held. The wombat couldn't take it anymore. Taking advantage of the more loose grasp because of his captor's distraction to Shadow's speech, he bit his paw and managed to slip off his grip.
"ESCAPE!" he yelled, sounding almost as if he had been preparing for that one, complete word for the entire ride. Sybil was confused for a while, but after seeing Whirlpool trying to escape to the shore, she tried to do the same.
"Come on. NOW!" Peepers yelled, with only half of the warblers present obeying him, since the rest were in shock. They started to throw peas and pebbles at the Komodo dragons. They knew it wasn't going to hurt them, but they hoped it would be enough distraction to help Sybil and Whirlpool avoid recapture.

"Zera! Where have you been?" Sybil yelled, as she continued running, not realizing that Whirlpool was caught once again. She thought he was still running. The remaining warblers reacted and threw their own peas and pebbles, concentrating their aim on the Komodo dragon holding Whirlpool. They already started the fight, so there was no point in stopping now. Whirlpool blinked at his attacker, but incredibly, he still tried to fight back, being feud up with being the hostage that was the object of that awful blackmailing.

Sayan nodded, ready to flown away. While he waited, he had done all he could to cover up any traces of Rose being there ands hoped that it was enough.

A scream echoes in air as claws tear me from my home. I try to cry out again but am gagged witg my legs tied up. With a chuckle the Komodo dragon snatches the target. The leader carries me away and leaps onto his transport and friend, followed by his men. Stroking me with a claw, he chuckles at how adorable I am. Upon seeing the battle, he sends some men to retrieve Shadow.

Upon the beach, Bjorn and Anvor, wielding tree trunk prepare to fight. They are backed by Jaerl and his father, Royal. Jhen is not around. He is most likely with Jet and the others.

"Oh quit your struggles. You aren't going any where!" The Komodo said.

"Come on Whirlpool!" Sybil yelled indirectly, hiding behind a palm tree to see Zera and her army deal with the Komodo dragon enemies... but became utterly horrified when she saw her friend within the grasp of the army yet again.
"No no no no..." she whispered, not believing they were back where they started. What was worse, the peas and pebbles had run out, and the warblers were at a loss on what to do now to help. But right at that moment, before Zera's army could start the attack, the last warbler you would have expected to stand out to Shadow did exactly that........ it was none other than Yodel himself.

"My my Shadow. You truly are pitiful. Following this controlling fantasy all the way through. And I thought I was stubborn. But look at you. Needing this senseless violence to gain control over islands where it's residents will never follow you or respect you." the formerly bitter warbler said, causing a dead silence everywhere. You could even hear the sand blowing with he wind with so much quiet.

Yodel didn't saw Sybil or any of his comrades. He continued to look at Shadow.
"I recall you promising the same thing that very last time..." Yodel said, not surprising Sybil. But in a cruel twist of fate, one young female warbler stepped forward.
"I'll surrender Mr. Shadow. If it means to avoid any casualties, I will even join you." she said, with the gasping warblers not believing what she said. But then... they all started pondering; they didn't have the orcas, or the marine birds. And Sybil's fight with Sozen had them believed they weren't going to receive his big help, not to mention that Shadow's army was bigger than Zera's. This time, they believed they were going to lose the fight, so little by little, all the warblers, except for Peepers, were starting to join Shadow.
"Guys! What are you doing!?" the middle aged warbler said, refusing to believe their treachery. They were practically giving the island to him.

"Sir, the target has been acquired and enemy forces will soon overwelm us. A tactical retreat may be wise," Shadow's advisor and closest ally says. Bjorn and Anvor start driving the invasion force back, as they are joined by Zera's force.

"I will.," Sayan as Sozen flew off once again. He made his way over to Rose and the others, soon seeing the injured Guardian.

The warblers were skeptical in attacking, but since they didn't want to invoke Shadow's wrath, they started to attack Zera, much to Sybil's disappointment and sorrow. But realizing that now it wasn't the time to feel depressed, she used the confusion to head to the Komodo dragon guarding Whirlpool to try to rescue him, followed closely by Peepers.
"I won't leave your side Sybil. I will distract him and you rescue your friend." Peepers said with a smile, ready to die for her if necessary with such risky move. Sybil tried to make him think otherwise, but it was impossible. One warbler was already lost, she didn't want to lose another, especially him. But she couldn't convince him to desist, so she allowed him to help in his own way...

Crocux looked at Jack as he nodded in understanding. Crocux dived into the water and torpedod for the front line. he burst onto the whale shark jaws opened wide hissing and snaraling. Saris was near by and he charged Whirlpool's captor mouth open wide to deliver a toxic bite.

Guardian was being stubborn though "oh ple-*cough*-ase I'm *cough hack* fine. it'll *cough* take more then *cough cough* this to *cough* stop me." Shi was getting scared though as Guardian soon started to cough up a little bit of blood.

Sybil watched with a lot of relief and happiness that she was finally receiving the support she needed.
"Come on Whirlpool!" she urged the wombat, wanting him to take advantage of the distraction.

The warblers attacking Zera could see that help had arrived, even from Sozen, but now they were at a loss on what to do. They stopped attacking Zera, but began flying in circles, trying to organize themselves on what to do and who to support...

Since now it was Saris the one distracting, Peepers took the opportunity to calm down the panic among the warblers.
"Now comrades, listen to me! We are not alone in this fight! Don't let Shadow intimidate you! This is our home! We have defended it before! We can do it again!" Peepers yelled, not even him knowing he could be that loud, and looking in particular to the young female that first plead alliance to the Komodo dragon. The warblers were still afraid, but knew Peepers was right. If they let Shadow take control of them and their home, they and their generations were going to be miserable for the rest of their lives. They then looked at each other, and realized they were very numerous. One warbler was pathetically weak, but all together, they could cause serious damage. So finally deciding to end their short lived alliance to Shadow, they started to attack him and their army head first, knowing that there was a high chance that a number of them won't survive the swipe of their claws or snap of their teeth.

Sybil was too concentrated to realize she had the warbler's support once more, and was more concentrated on rescuing Whirlpool. Using the guard's distraction of taunting Saris, Sybil quickly put the tied wombat on her back, and started to run as fast as she could. She wanted to make sure he didn't get caught again...

His tail could whack almost a dozen warblers at a time, but that didn't stop them.
"Go home!"
"Leave us alone you imbecile piece of trash!"
"This is our home!"
"Take your disgusting friends with you!"
Those were only some of the yells that the warblers were chanting to Shadow as they attacked. And while Sybil was still escorting Whirlpool, she looked behind her and saw to her delight that she had the support of the warblers once more.
"Keep going miss!" Peepers said behind her, ready to delay Whirlpool's former captor should he beat Saris and starts chasing them pair Sybil did exactly that, wanting to reach her tree to keep Whirlpool safe inside. She was extremely sad on the possibility that many warblers were possibly going to die, but she was finally starting to accept that that was inevitable when there was a war involved, and her top priority for now was to keep Whirlpool safe.

Saris was hoping the guard would underestimate him as when the guard grabbed his tail he bit down as hard as he could piercing the hide as he was ripped off. Crocux stood his ground and said "I've dealt with worse then you! I've crushed a wolverines skull only a few days ago. I may be an adolescent in spite of my size but I've dealt with far more dangerous foes then you Shadow! Now DIE!" Crocux opened his mouth wide and charged Shadow eager to go for the kill.

Sybil was now too far into the woods to notice Crocux charging at him; doing the very same she warned him not to do. But one way or the other, Sybil had a few Komodo dragon poison antidote buried below her tree ever since the first war, which she had forgotten completely until now. She continued running to her tree, not looking behind her. After she was done leaving Whirlpool, she was going to participate in the war herself.

Saris smirked "you're right about one thing. my venom isn't as deadly as a komodos. it's actually far deadlier. I'm a mutant fool! I'm basically a giant Komodo dragon! incase if you haven't noticed yet you should start to feel numb right about now." when Crocux snapped down missing Shadow. Shadow's claws missed his eye but cut him just above it. Crocux then began to death roll rolling over Shadow and stopped sitting right on top of him. Crocux's weight is too much for the komodo so he was stuck under the massive croc.

Many warblers were down, but thankfully, there were no deaths yet. There were however, many injuries. The warblers were very numerous, but they were very small, and the Komodo dragons could easily take down many of them.

"Hey drool face! You like to mess up with those smaller than you? How about someone small AND fast?" Peepers said to the Komodo dragon fighting Saris, wanting to help the smaller lizard. He has been afraid of Komodo dragons ever since the incident with Shadow, but not anymore.

Sybil finally arrived to her tree, finding to her relief that nobody had been chasing them. She started to use the small branch bridge to her tree to leave Whirlpool there, but the wombat still had much to say.
"Sybil... this... m...my... fault..." he began to say, still not getting over the guilt of letting those Komodo dragons into his home.
"Shush Whirlpool. You'll be safe here. Now I'll be right back." she said, leaving the tree but letting him tied up. She didn't want to risk the wombat following her to participate in the fight, since it would do nobody good if he got captured again.

ooc: Saris is bigger then the komodo Felines.

Crocux smirked "no way in hell Shadow."

OOC: That's very confusing. Komodo dragons are the world's biggest species of lizard.

As Sybil was on her way to the battlefield, the keas were arriving with the rocks. They were strong, and unlike the peas and pebbles the warblers dropped, these were sure guaranteed to work.
"Why you look at that. Even Sozen is helping." the leading kea said, felling proud, as they could see that the sharks were leaving thanks to him. Now all that was left was to make the dragons on shore retreat as well, so as mini bombs, they started to throw the rocks at the shore, though unfortunately, they couldn't tell who was from Shadow's army or Zeras's.

The warblers were surprised at the offer, and they hoped Crocux decline it. It would be bad news for them if Shadow had him as an ally.

Sybil reached the edge of the shore, but much to her surprise, it was all still and quiet. Did the fighting stop? She remained hidden to see what was going on...

ooc: Saris is a bit of a mutant moniter really, genetic mutations that is.

Crocux says "naw I'm good with Haven. you ain't got nothin I want Shadow so shut up and get comfy."

OOC: I must have missed that last part of the description.

The warblers were relieved with the decline, and to Sybil's delight and surprise, Shadow was actually fearing Crocux to have make him that offer. Thinking that the war was finally over, she approached Shadow, but being besides Crocux to be under his protection in case he reacted violently.
"You see Shadow? This is what happens when you insist on an empty obsession. We bet you before, and we beat you again. Don't you understand? You will always lose." Sybil taunted, wanting to show Shadow how much she hated him. She expected the war to last much longer than that, but now that it seemed over, she was going to make good of her promise and have Shadow executed to make sure his threat was forever gone. She didn't want to harden her heart, but Shadow forced her.
