Kargolo came back covered in meaty goo.
"Sorry 'bout that. Swallowed it wrong."

Lila chuckled again. "That's perfectly alright." She said. "Now let's go."

Matilda started off.

Kargolo flapped above Matilda, watching her cautiously.

"Let's hope we don't run into any trouble." Lila said. "When we get to the bearrics, I'm not quite sure where to go from there. IF we get there."

"Oh, we will. We're not giving up now." Kargolo said.

Pingo was sleeping soundly.

"You're right." Scott said. "We're not."

Matilda heard Scott's last comment and smiled kindly at him before looking away.
"You care too much, Scott."

"All of us care. You're gonna get there." Kargolo snapped.

"Of course we care." Lila said. "You're our friend, and friends stick together."

Matilda smiles.
"I bet Alyx and Delgato told you to take care of me."

"They did indeed." Scott said. "And I'm trying my best to take care of all of you."

OOC: We almost need something big to happen to get this RP going again. After we get to the winter bearrics, what's going to happen? They're only really headed that way to help Matilda get better. The pack of dogs chasing Scott has disbanded (for the moment at least) since their leader died, Alyx and Delgato left, and Jennacat4's characters haven't interacted with the group yet, so I don't know if she plans to have her characters meet up with ours eventually or not. Kargolo did attack one of them, but that's about it. Any thoughts on how we get this moving?

OOC: There could be a pack living in the mountains that hate intruders so they could attack them when they reach the Bearics.

Matilda laughs.
"They shouldn't care about me. I only brought them pain."

OOC: I like the idea, but what about afterwards? If they're going to be travelers, they can't stay in the bearrics forever. We've had a few fight scenes already, and most of those only lasted a page or so. I was thinking of something more like this, at least for after they leave the bearrics.

1. Something big involving Akito and Asuna.
Other than being considered a part of the group, they haven't really done anything. Is there going to be something in their past that catches up to them, enemies that come for revenge, or something else?

2. Some sort of Nodder-wide epidemic.
After leaving the bearrics, the group could hear about a plague going around, a big war involving a few different species, or maybe a food shortage?

3. Have Alyx and Delgato come back.
I'll admit that for the current situation, this idea is a long shot at best, since the group left Delgato and Alyx behind at the savannah and are probably miles away. Still something to consider though.

4. Lila's past.
Another long shot idea, since it probably wouldn't progress the story too much, but I mentioned in her character sheet that she has two sons who she hasn't seen for a long time.

5. Kargolo?
I'm not quite sure if anything big will happen with him yet, but that's up to FOS.

6. Meet up with some of Jennacat4's characters.
They could have problems of their own, and depending on what they are, that could progress the story quite a bit. And besides, it can't be easy to find things to do when her characters are RPing by themselves. Then again, it's her descision, and I haven't seen her on in a while.

7. Make up a well thought out chase scene.
Chase scenes almost always mean something big is happening or is about to happen. (Another long shot idea though, as it might not last very long)

8. Find out a night when everyone can get on and RP.
If we could role play for a few hours together sometime soon, we might be able to get through a few pages.

If all else fails, I'm sure we'll figure something out. If you guys have any other ideas, that would definitely help. Since there's only a few of us in the RP, it's harder to get through than it would be if we had more people. And I'm still all for the mountain pack attack idea. That would definitely be a good way to start things off. This will probably be my last post for a couple days, BTW, since school will probably start back up for me again tomorrow. If not, then I'll be back sooner than later. Please tell me what you guys think of my ideas!

Scott shook his head. "You're still family. And even if you weren't, everyone deserves a second chance to do the right thing. Even if you did bring them pain, they can forgive you for that. Or at least, I believe they can."

OOC: They are all great ideas and I love them all. Putting the first three together could be great.

Matilda shrugs.
"They've given me so many chances. I've broken them all."

OOC: Definitely number 2! Something big is gonna happen to Kargolo, hehe-

Kargolo sat and looked out towards the Bearrics, wondering if it was cold enough to freeze his feathers.

OOC: I'm glad you guys approve. If you guys are going to do something big with your characters, I can't wait to see how that turns out. What should the Nodder-wide epidemic be though? There's only so many options that would affect a place this big. I personally think that we should combine a few things, (Example: plague going around + big war between species) as it would make it go more in depth. Any thoughts?

"Friends and family don't just give up on each other." Scott said. "There's always room in their hearts for forgiveness. Now come on, let's get you to the bearrics."

OOC: I'm sorry I haven't been on! (Again...) I've read everything I missed.

OOC: Yeah! I actually got this amazing idea...

As the group neared the Bearrics, Matilda spotted a familiar red pelt in the snow. She barked and ran to the dog.
"Delgato! Where's Alyx?!" She cried, burying her nose into his pelt.

Delgtato weakly opened his eyes. He was banged up and bruised. Kirito ran to him, checking the claw marks. He then turns to Asuna.

"It's Sebastian's pack. They're here." He growls with narrowed eyes and Asuna barks in fear and surprise.

"They have Alyx." Delgato said sadly.

OOC: Ooh, can't wait to see where this is going.

"Woah, woah woah," Scott said. "One thing at a time. First off, how did you get here so quickly? Second, who's this 'Sebastian' you speak of, and Lastly, why did he take Alyx?"

Lila went over to Delgato and said, "We'll get her back, Delgato. I promise." "By the way," she added, "It's really good to see you."

OOC:

Delgato smiled at Lila weakly, then turned to Scott.
"Alyx and I were visiting a friend who lived in the Bearrics. We ran into a pack who knew Alyx and some grudge against her because she and Asuna were sisters. The leader grabbed and took Alyx. I tried to chase, but it obviously failed."

Kirito growled and Asuna shook her head.

"Sebastian is the leader of Asuna's and my old pack. We left on bad terms. They've been hunting us down for awhile now." Kirito said.

"Does this friend of yours live near here?" Scott asked. "Perhaps they could give us some clues to the pack's whereabouts, considering they live here."

Delgato nods and Matilda runs to his assistance so he can stand.
"This way." He says, heading towards a blizzard.

"Just point me in this Bastie's direction and he'll be dead in a moon."Kargolo cawed.

OOC: I made a new RP called Wolf Moon, guys, in case you're interested.

"I should've known he/she would be hard to get to." Scott said, looking nervously at the blizzard that surrounded them.

OOC: I saw it. It looks beautiful.

Delgato leads the group to a cave.
"Karan?! You there!?" he barks weakly.

A tall black wolf with streaks of blue comes forth from the cave. His eyes are a deep, intriguing blue that you could get lost in.
"Delgato? What happened?! Where's Alyx?!" He said surprisingly calmly. He turns to the others. "And who are you?"

"I'm Lila," Lila said, "And this is Scott and Matilda."

Karan nods.
"It's nice to meet you all. I'm Karan. What are you doing here?"

"Hehhem. You forgot me." Kargolo pointed out. "The name's Kargolo. I'm a four-legged eagle, to let you know. Yeah, so that's me, Kargolo. I'm a four-legged eagle." He quivered.

Karan nods, his blue eyes seeming to be an even deeper blue.
"Hello."

"Sorry to burst in on you like this," Scott said, "but we have to ask you about something."

Karan shakes his midnight black blue head.
"No worries friends. What do you need?"

"To make dirt. Where is your dirt-place?" Kargolo barged in.

Lila gave Kargolo a questioning look, but said nothing. Scott said, "We heard about a pack that lives in this area, and apparently they took Alyx." Lila nodded. "Do you have any idea where they are?" She asked.

Karan's eyes widen.
"They took Alyx?! Follow me. I'll lead you there and deal with my brother this instant." He says angrily.

Kargolo cackled.
"Woo hoo, I assume we are gonna battle? I'm gonna win this for Alyx." He said, coming back inside the cave.

Lila nodded. "Let's go get our friend back!" She yowled enthusiastically.
Scott turned to Matilda. "You should stay here and rest." He said. "Alyx would want you to get better before you came looking for her with us."

Matilda looked hurt that she was being left behind.

Karan touched his muzzle sympathetically to Matilda's.
"Delgato is going to stay here too, so you won't be alone." He says calmly.

Matilda nods.
"Alright. Don't get injured too badly!" She cautions.

"Let's go." Karan says, padding off.

Scott nodded. "We'll be back," he said. "I promise." He then took off after Karan, Lila following close behind.

Karan dashes quickly through the blizzard.
"This way!" he barks.

Lila and Scott followed close behind, but Lila was not enjoying this one bit. She wasn't meant to run in this kind of weather. "How far away is this place!?" She called above the howling storm.

Karan dropped back and grabbed Lila's scruff, pulling her along.
"Not much farther." he mumbled.

"Good," Lila growled. "'Cause this weather's probably only going to get worse."
Scott dropped back as well and helped Karan. "The sooner we save Alyx, the better." He agreed.

"It's.....c-c-c-cold!" Kargolo cried, flapping after them.

Karan looked up at tall trees hiding a cave filled with tunnels.

"You're not welcome here." growls a night black wolf with glowing blue eyes.

"Get out of the way, Shiina." Karan barks.

Shiina continues to block the way.

"Let us through, Shiina." Scott said. "We're just here to get our friend. We don't want to cause trouble."

"And you'll have me to deal with." Kargolo spat, showing his talons.

Shiina barked with laughter, her blue eyes cold.
"Hey Sam, get a look at these mutts." She howled, and a grey wolf with amber eyes joined her.

Sam howls with laughter.
"Such pathetic hounds!" She barked. "We aren't lettin such mutts by without a fight, eh?" She sneers and Shiina nods agreement.

Karan grits his teeth.

"Woah, woah, woah," Lila said, pushing past Scott, Karan, and Kargolo, her fur bristling, and her eyes blazing with anger. "First off, Kargolo and I aren't hounds, so get your facts straight, people. Second, you two are more pathetic mutts than Scott and Karan will ever be, and third, touch my friends, and you're both gonna lose an eye."

Scott stared at Lila, stunned. She'd never spoken to anyone like that, not even him. "J..just give us Alyx, and we'll leave." He stammered, eyes not leaving Lila for even a second.
