Shadow sat down and closed his eyes.

Brutus raised an eyebrow. "Really? I didn't think he was that kind of person."

Feather laughed.
"Dark is a jokester who makes a joke of literally everything. Yeah, he lies." she said.

Shadow decided to go for a walk so he slipped out of HQ unoticed.

Alyx got to her feet painfully.
"I'm gonna go for a walk. I'm not just gonna lay in bed all day." she groaned.

"Well I knew he joked a lot. But lies are... completely out of order." Brutus said, shaking his head.

"Ahh" Shadow sighed.

Feather smiled.
"Dark will never be in order. He's the power source of chaos." she said.

Alyx limped by everyone so they wouldn't see her. She got to the path and started to walk around. Suddenly, she collapsed.

"I suppose not..." Brutus said, a bit distantly.

Shadow heard a little thud "What the...?" He muttered he walked over to where he heard it and saw Alyx.

Feather laughed.

Alyx was barely conscious. Her side hurt.

Brutus stood around for a minute, not knowing what to do.

Shadow sighed "Why were you out here?" He asked.

Feather smiled.
"You should get some extra sleep." she said.

"I was planning to get fresh air. I didn't know I was gonna collapse." Alyx said.

"No thank you. There are much better things to do than sleep." Brutus said firmly.

Feather laughed.
"Alright, as long as I don't see you sleeping at some point." she said.

"You need me to get your cousin?" Shadow asked.

"Dark? Nah, I snuck out so he wouldn't see me. I think I'll just lay here for awhile." said Alyx.

Shadow looked at Alyx for a moment and then picked her up "You're going back to HQ." Shadow said

Alyx sighed.
"Alright..." she drifted out of consciousness.

Shadow reached HQ and set Alyx down on her bed.

Alyx sighed.
"Thanks." she said to Shadow.

"No problem" Shadow grumbled as he started to leave the room.

"You okay?" asked Alyx, her glassy brown eyes focusing on Shadow.

"I'm fine" Shadow quickly walked out of room before she could ask anymore questions.

Alyx sighed. She wasn't planning on asking him anything else, but the fact he left so fast made her worry.

Shadow leaned his back against a wall he sighed.

Shana got out of her bed and walked down the halls. She passed Shadow.
"Hey, how's my sis?" she asked.

"She's fine" Shadow grumbled as he walked away.

"Geez, I seriously wonder what's up with him?" muttered Shana aloud.

Shadow walked to his room.

Shana walked into her sister's room.

Shadow packed up his stuff.

Dark walked by Shadow's room to see him packing.
"You leaving? I'm not gonna stop you, but just gonna say we're gonna miss you. Shana the most. She hasn't known you for long, but she thinks you're one of the most fun people around here." he said, leaning against the door frame.

"Hmmm that's very nice" Shadow said shoving in the last of his things.

Dark smiled.
"I'm not kidding. You'll upset her. Greatly." he said.

"Well that's sad" Shadow walked out of the room

"At least tell her goodbye. Please?" asked Dark. He had never pleaded for something before.

Shadow stood still for a minute but then spoke "Fine."

"Thank you." said Dark with a sigh.

Shadow walked into Shana's room.

Shana looked up from where she was at her sister's bedside.
"Yeah?" she asked.

"I'm leaving" Shadow said.

Shana's eyes widened.
"You are kidding, right?" she asked. Seeing how he wasn't, Shana looked away fast. She was about to cry, and that was not something she usually did. Ever.
"You aren't. I can tell." she choked.

"I am and that's final" Shadow said with a small nod.

Shana nodded, but refused to look at Shadow because she was crying.

Alyx looked at her sister in amazement. She never cried.

"Then I'm gonna tell you that I'm going to miss you the most. You are the best." said Shana. She couldn't help herself from running and giving Shadow a hug.

Shadow was shocked "Now, now I have to go."

Shana looks up at Shadow with her red face and nods. A tear rolls down her cheek and she turns away.
"B-bye." she sobs.

"I might comeback!" Shadow said trying to cheer up Shana.

Shana wiped away some tears with the back of her hand.
"You will?" she asks hopefully.
