The difference is that the regular babies spawn one at a time and have growth time on Siren, and pop out ready to fly in full groups of four on Medea. Moreover, the four egg grenades being fired to spawn the babies do 40 damage, becoming a viable part of your offense themselves. The charged roar is occasionally nice, and both paths are competent, but incorporating the babies, the Superbaby, the egg grenades, AND the roaring into a four-part offense is usually a lot better.

I would need to see how long it takes to charge and how much more it does, I would imagine that Medea path is best PvP however Siren is best in PvE

I think it's far, far easier to create a circle with the Wow Pow. You can practically make a 180-degree turn and still end the Supernova successfully. It takes practice, but Flameslinger's Wow Pow allows him to conclude the Supernova from so many angles that weren't even possible before, many times very suddenly.

After trying both paths for Pop Fizz, Mad Scientist is the better path. Your Beast form is slow, and somewhat boring if you ask me. The only really good thing on Best of Best is the New Abilities.
However, Mad Scientist provides some much better perks. The increased damage is very helpful when combined with later upgrades. The mixing of the flame and acid potions can create GODLY damage over a large area. With the triple, which does not take long to charge at all, really helps when using the acid/flame mix for covering large areas. Also, it helps when sending three purple minions out that constantly shoot your opponent. The Beast Form isn't terrible either on this path. This paths makes him MUCH more fun and versatile to play as.

Whether he slows or not, the issue is that he doesn't speed up. Gains no charging attack, no way to quickly advance on fleeing opponents; nothing that a good melee character is expected to have. Kind of like Slam Bam before the sled, but even he could give chase. I do recommend the potion path.

But he doesn't. Do a little timed race in the hub if you'd like. Run up and down the stairs and time it. He moves at the same speed. He just looks and feels like he moves slow but he really doesn't. And Tashiji is right, aside from the leap move that he gets from the green potion, he doesn't gain anything to help him catch things at range. All that boosted melee attacking, as good as it is for taking out things fast, means nothing if what you're attacking ends up just getting away from you.

I'm trying to decide which path I should go for S2 Lightning rod. I know both paths make him an excellent character, as he was in Spyro's adventure. I'm thinkin I'll try him on Lightning lord because I would imagine that the wow pow would help him at melee range and the upgrades on Typhoon titan feel less needed.

Yes, only S2 can switch paths. I also recommend Rubble Master for Crusher for a great boost in speed and maneuverability, and great damage with the exploding boulders. The Soul Gem also really helps this path. Rock Grinder only increases his hammer damage by ten, and gives you combos that are hard to use. On RM, his hammer is still good. For Chill I recommend Ice Lancer. The speed you are able to throw the blades is great, so when combined with high damage and tripled is a tremendous force to deal with. When added your Ice Wall in front, tons of javelins are thrown in every angle, covering a large area with high damage javelins. Chill is a great character on this path.

never choose that path with the rolling stone attack with crusher.. in the drill-x level you will break the game.. like you use the stone roll attack and then your stones not coming back, then you run around headless and no hands... your totally fect and must quit the whole game... no it dont help go back to flynns ship... you must actually quit the game.

Terrafin, sandhog, he becomes almost invincible while underground, and as you stay under ground you can also create some damage. Flashwing, I prefer super spinner, the crystal upgrade path can be a bit of a nuisance, since you need walls, and. Not everywhere has walls.

I agree with Flashwing. I really wish they had integrated the ability to switch paths in the Newlanders since I hd gone down Super Spinner, regretted it, and gone down Super Shards. While working hard to gather that money and experience in Nightmare mode, I knew that Flashwing is like MEANT for Super Spinner and Super Shards can be kinda useless...

Nope, you are so wrong man. 1.First of all, it's the purple potion that gives you the leap attack, not the green one (still sucks though, I didn't really like that attack). 2. Second of all, you got that backwards. He doesn't look or feel that he goes slower, but he really does. He only loses a slight amount of speed though, I tried running around the hubworld. 3. Third of all, that's exactly what I was trying to say. No matter what you do, the Beast form is terrible for catching your opponent and you can easily be harmed at a distance in PvP, no great speed or long range (he's slow enough already, in both Beast and Normal form), his low speed and very low health are problematic, he doesn't take a long time to defeat. What's even worse is that you can't move for 3.5 seconds while transforming into the Beast, either leaving yourself open to attack or giving your opponent time to escape from you.

I keep mixing up the potions, my bad. And are you sure this isn't just a placebo effect and you've convinced yourself that he moves slower in Beast form due to how it feels and appears? I can see how some would consider it a small drop in speed but it appears to be so insignficant and almost negligible if you weren't looking for the smallest reason to hate the Beast form. I guess we're going need a stop watch for this...

no. s2 is amazing with his wowpow. it's hard to ignore a 108 dmg blast in under 1/2 a second. with crystaleer, its only 76 dmg. you can drop crystals, but its easier to blast em 5 times with the pulse to kill them.
