its okay, i'm not(as)depressed as i was yesterday.
and, those videos were hilarious, Night. xD
i also wanna say that i'm sorry for not posting a chapter yesterday. i went on fanfiction and couldn't get off(although fanfiction was where i read the sad story...but i had no idea it would end like that ._. there should be a warning or something xD) i'd post another chapter today, but i barely have any time left on the computer(and it can take me a long time to type a chapter)because of my vollyball game. I'll try to get another chapter tommarow.

chapter time(FINALLY >.>')

I heard someone saying my name. At first it was distant, but then it got louder. I finally regained conciousness.
"Wha-?" I asked. I was still in a lot of pain.
"Desi!" I heard again. I opened my eyes. Everything was blurry, but it soon came into focus. I realized I was looking at Kelp.
"Why are you here? And how am i not dead?" I muttered.
"I came to the human universe and i arrived right when you blacked out. As for you being alive, i don't know."
"Too bad i wasn't able to talk to you before Fyre left. I would've told you to kick his butt for me."
As if on cue, we saw a dark spot in the sky. We were both silent. We knew who it was. My heart pounded. This would be the final battle between them. Fyre was prepared to kill. I had figured that out the hard way. From that time until Shadow was dead, he would kill anyone that was a threat. Kelp and I both were put under that category.
"Hide." Kelp whispered. I nodded, and puilled myself over to a snowdrift. I dug out a makeshift hole to hide in.
We stood there for a while, the dot getting bigger. It started to take shape. Kelp moved away from me a little. Less chance of being discovered.
Tension crackled the air as Fyre finally stepped onto the ground. I didn't dare to breathe. My heart was pounding so loudly that i was sure Fyre would hear it.
The two brotheres looked at eachother for a few seconds. Then they attacked. The fighting went on for what seemed like hours. I can't remember anything up until my foot slipped. Fyre froze, then turned in my direction. He saw me, and then ran at the snow drift. He swatted the top off, then pulled me out. He dropped me on the ground. I kept telling myself i was an idiot for changing into human form. The snow was freezing my fingers and hands and every other body part.
Kelp was stunned for a second, but then he started to come towards us.
"Stop!" Fyre said, and he put his claws on top of my neck. My heart practically stopped beating. Death could be seconds away. "Take one step closer and your little friend here dies."
Kelp looked distressed. He was trying to figure out what to do. Fyre laughed.
"And this is why you don't have friends, only allies." Fyre said. "But my poor little brother never learns."
I closed my eyes. It didn't matter to me if i died. I just wanted him to do whatever he could to get rid of Fyre. I knew that if i was him i wouldn't move. I hoped he wasn't like me.
"She's already near death." Fyre said. "Wouldn't it be easier to attack me?" Oh, wait, that's right. You like her." I knew Fyre was just taunting Kelp so he'd have an excuse to kill me sooner. I would've told Kelp to attack, but i was still weak from the other time Fyre attacked me.
My mind was racing. I had to think of something, quick. I knew Kelp's decision wouldn't matter. Fyre was planning to kill me whatever happened.
I thought of something.
I swung my tail, and it hit one of Fyre's legs. He was stunned for a second, and I started to get away. But he quickly realized what was happening, and slashed his claws. They hit my side(really glad i tried to crawl away)instead of my neck. Fyre growled, and a second later Kelp was pinning down his brother. Even though Fyre was bigger, he couldn't get free.
"You wouldn't actually kill me, would you?" Fyre asked.
"You would, why wouldn't i?" Kelp answered, then he cut Fyre's chest.
He backed away, but i knew he wasn't concerned. We both could have died in that fight.
Pain shook my whole body, and I struggled not to pass out. I still could die. Kelp ran up to me.
"We need to get you to a hospital."
"Well, i dont' know anyone in Alaska that can take..." I stopped. "Scratch that. Do you know about that famos giant glacier?"
"Yeah."
"We need to go a few miles south of that..."

Fyre died. so...Shadow is alone now? or, will she have another dragon to help her, since we know how tough life has to be.
you will find out...sometime. I can't predict how many chapters from now it will be. xD

I also think that Normal Desi turning into Evil Desi didn't last that long. It could have gone for a few more chapters. Otherwise, this is the best fanfiction I'm reading so far. Well done

"Hello?" I heard someone say. He saw me, then gasped. "Desi?"
Crap. I thought. I was going to have to tell him why i was like this later.
"She needs to get to a hospital." Kelp said.
"Get her into my car." They put me in the back, and Kelp sat in the passenger seat. I had to sit there, thinking over what i was going to say, until we reached the hospital.
I was put into a room and were all quiet. I knew he hadn't asked questions yet, but he would soon.
"Jeremiah," I said. "Do not tell anyone, especially my mom or dad. My mom would freak out, and, I'm not even sure what dad would do."
"Dad would have a heart attack." He said.
"Right. And that's why. I'm not going to stay here long..." I exchanged a look with Kelp. "I'll explain it later. Or Kelp can explain it while i go into freaking surgery." Kelp stared at me. I could tell what he was thinking.
What?!?! Explain everything to someone who, to me, is a complete stranger?!
Please, just go along with it! I silently begged.
"Wait, his name is Kelp..." Jeremiah got a glare from him.
"His mother is evil. Like i said, he'll explain..." That was all i could say before i was asleep.
"Ugh..." I opened my eyes and sat up. Jeremiah was staring at me.
"He wasn't lying about any of that?"
"If he was telling you about being a dragon then, yes, he was telling the truth." I said.
"We need to leave here, quick." Kelp told me. "The others..." I nodded. "And, another thing...Shadow has another dragon working for her."
"WHAT?!?!" I asked.
"That's why we need to leave soon. Shadow and this new dragon are strong together. We need to need everyone if we're going to get through this. And, even if we get rid of Shadow...there will most likely be deaths." We were both silent.
"So, i have to just watch you leave, possibly to your death?!" Jeremiah looked at me. "You expect me to handle that?"
"Yes, i do." I said. We looked at eachother. I was pleading with him to agree.
"You're a wierd little half-sister, you know that?" He hugged me. "But that's why it's harder to let you face death."
"i've already done that a lot of time within this small time span." I said. "I'm sorta used to it.
A doctor came in. "She'll be fine. We had to put stitches in her side, and she has a few burns, but they aren't too bad."
"Do you think she could leave now?" Jeremiah asked.
The doctor looked starteled. "Well..." He thought for a second. "I guess."
After about an hour we were allowed to leave. Jeremiah drove to where Kelp said the portal was. We got out of the car.
"I'll miss you." I told Jeremiah, and i hugged him.
"I'll miss you, too." He answered.
"Come on." Kelp said, and we went through the portal.

yes, i sort of meant for this chapter to seem...quick? Well, i hadn't meant to in the first place...but, really, it sort of fits with the whole "i had to get surgery that second or i would die" thing. xD
and, really, if i said good bye to my half-brother, i would've cried...way to be accurate with my emotions in this chapter. O.o' sheesh...

"Where are we?" I asked.
"On the outskirts of the Burned Lands." Kelp answered. There weren't many tree, but it wasn't a complete desolate wasteland. The sun was almost below the mountains.
"We need to find a place to stay for the night." I said.
"No, we have to keep going." Kelp told me.
"It's dangerous to travel at night. Besides, the others will be resting."
"Which is why we need to move. It'll shorten the distance between us."
"And then what? We'll have to watch from the sidelines because we'll be to weak to fight?"
Kelp opened his mouth to reply, but stopped. He listened carefully. I copied. There was something near us...
A pink dragon appeared. We backed up a little. All traces of the argument were gone. We had to run, or fight.
"What are you two doing?" She asked softly. "Two young dragons shouldn't be alone at night." Her voice was gentle, caring.
"We...um..." Kelp stammered. I whacked him with my tail. Boys.
"Where is your home?" She asked.
"We...don't have one." I admitted. Kelp looked at me with a what the heck was that?! face. But...It was trye. That realization hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't have a home, or a family.
"Would you like to stay at my house for a while?"
"Yes." I answered before Kelp said anything stupid. Again. I could tell he was trying not to face/paw.
The dragon led us to her home, which was fairly close. She let us stay in her guest room. It had two beds, so we each had our own. I layed on my bed, my front leg hanging off the side.
"You're crazy. You're abselutely crazy. We're planning to fight, of all dragons, Shadow, and you decide to go have a sleepover at a random dragon's house." Kelp said, staring at the ceiling.
"You're welcome in advance, for when you'll have energy tommarow."
"We'll have to move twice as fast."
"We'll have the strength to move twice as fast."
"I still don't get why you trusted Sonata so quickly." Oh, yeah, the dragon told us her name was Sonata.
"Shut up and calm down." I told Kelp. "I'm tired, and i want to sleep. It won't do us any good to worry."

Voices woke me up. I blinked, forcing the sleep out of my mind. I could've sworn i heard someone...
"Mommy!" I heard a dragon yell. She sounded young.
I crawled silently through the foilage until i found the sorce. A baby dragon and an older dragon. But not just any dragon...
"Sonata." I breathed. She was gently nudging the little dragon.
"Come on, flap your wings faster." She encouraged. The little dragon lifted an inch off the ground, but fell again. Sonata laughed. "It's okay. You'll learn soon, my little Star." I suddenly noticed that the dragon was blue and pink, and she had a yellow mark on her head. It was hard to tell what it was from where i was standing, but i knew it was a star. The dragon was me.
"Sonata is..." I whispered.
"Your mother." I whipped around and saw a blue draon. He looked old and battle-worn. There was a great amount of knowledge in his eyes. I kenw exactly who this was.
"Ignitus?" I asked. Why would the chronicler be visiting me, of all people?
"I have come to explain. You are having a memory of a dream. When you were young, you kept a connection with your mother. As you grew older, it faded. Within that time Sonata was able to teach you a few things. Of corse, you havn't been able to remember them, until now."
"Why am i just remembering it now?"
Ignitus sighed. "Because, when a dragon is faced with possible death, memories that lay dorment begin to emerge."
"Oh, great. I'm going to see my life flash before my eyes before i'm even dead." I mumbled.
"Well, not exactly. When a memory is important, it will be acknowledged."
"Me meeting Sonata triggered this?"
"And possibly you missing your human mother." I was quiet for a moment. Everything started to melt away, and the memory dream was gone.

(music can end now)
I was nudged awake by Kelp. "Come on, we need to go." I nodded, then got up.
"Thank you for letting us stay." I said to Sonata.
"Your welcome."
I held her gaze for longer than i normally would have. She knew what i was thinking. Her eyes seemed to brighten, and i smiled.
"Goodbye, Sonata."
We both turned towards the Burned Lands.
"What was that about?" Kelp asked me.
"Nothing." I said, but i felt a little better than i had the day before.

Do you like it? I decided to leave this part until the near-end. Sort of like a present. My dragon mother is revealed.
