Chapter 33:"Rookie to the Resure!" (I dunno
)~Woods Loosing breath of air, Rookie kept on running in the woods. He finally heard a yell and followed it, leading him toward the cliff. "Dawn?!" he yelled, still heading to the cliff. "Ro…ROOKIE?!!" she questioned, "Oh crud...I’m about to slip!" she exclaimed. "Hold on! I’m coming!" Dawn eyes widen, as she looked down to the foggy fall while her grip was slipping. At that moment, she lost hold, and began to fall, "ROOKIE!!!!" Just then, a black paw caught her arm, as she was hanging in the air. She looked up to see her ally, Rookie, as he struggled to pull her up. "Any minute now, Rook!" she started, "take your time," she said, sarcastically. "I'm....sorry! It's just that you're..." he paused, "I'll shut up now." "Good idea," she responded, annoyed. Rookie finally gathered up his strength, and pulled her to the ground. The two were panting, glad--yet terrified--that is was all over."Thank you...Rook. Thank you so much!" "No...problem. Just....here to help." They finally got up, and looked around. "Are we lost?" she questioned. "I hope not," he replied, as his eyes widen. They heard howls, snarls, hoots, chirps, and everything else that any woods would have. "C'mon. Let's not waste our time here," Rookie finally said, "besides we can kick there butt...Right?!" he freaked, walking away. "My here..." Dawn mumbled, following him. T.B.C |
