Tangath smiled. "Abby, I like that name." With that, he lead Abby out of the doorway. "What do you want to see first? The kitchen, the leaders' cabins, the warriors' cabins..." He trailed off.

Abby's eyes lite up as she thought of the first place she wanted to go to. "The healer's cabin! I need to know who my fellow healers are, and who's an apprentice here. It's good to get to know work buddies and get on good terms with them. Maybe I could even teach an apprentice a few things." She smiled.

The healer's cabin was close to the warrior's cabin, as they usually needed healing the most. The resident camp healer was a weredog by the name of Matthew. The apprentice was a wereeagle named Lucy.

Tangath nodded. "Follow me then." He said, heading towards the Healer camp.

"So," Tangath says, "What're your sisters like?" He asked.

"Sister. I only have one sister. The other is my best friend." Abby corrected. She then sighed. "Gosh, what to say about Nadia and Roxanne. First of all, whatever you do, don't get on their bad side, especially Nadia. My sister has a very short temper, and will not hesitate to take you down if you mess with her. Nadia is very athletic and loves sports. It's rare to see her sit still for very long. She's also like a total tomboy. And she likes to collect weapons, mainly blades. And Nadia's very protective of me, so if she gives you the third degree later, that's perfectly normal."

Abby sighed once more before continuing. "My friend Roxanne is different, but still difficult to deal with. She's more of the girly, arrogant, self-absorbed type. She loves fashion and all that stuff, and has a habit of flirting a lot. She also claims to have perfect accuracy with her bow. Plus, she loves pranks. So if you get hit in the face with a bag full of dye, that was probably Roxy. Also, traps. Beware of traps around her. But other than her tricks, she can be rather friendly. Just don't upset her, and you should be fine."

Tangath laughed. "Well, my bad." He said. "I'll take a note of the blades, and the overprotective-ness of her." He chuckled. "As for Roxy, well, I'll make sure to not flirt back." He says with a bout of laughter.

((Sorry, had to let my brother fall asleep))

"It's good that you be careful around Nadia. As for Roxanne, it's good that you said that. Her relationships usually don't last very long at all, and she doesn't exactly take them seriously." Abby said.

Rayan finally got back. She had caught five squirrels, three racoons, and a small deer. She carried the smaller animals in a small bag slung over her shoulder. As she walked into camp, she noticed Tangath and Abby. She walked over, "Hello, Abby. I'm sorry about... earlier. I just wanted to make an impression."

Abby was about to reply to Tangath, when she noticed Rayan. "Oh, no problem. When you travel as much as I do, you get used to being greeted by camps with sharp and pointy objects. Every camp does it, actually."

I looked at Abby. "We better get going. Bye." I say, that last comment directed towards Rayan. Since when do I act so rude around people? I think to myself.

Abby glanced at Tangath." Oh. Well, okay." She then turned to Rayan. "It was nice meeting you again. Maybe we can hang out later." She smiled.

I looked at Abby as we were walking, reaching for her hand.

((Is romance allowed? Also, it'd be the only time Tangath would open up about his past.))

ooc: Yeah, it's allowed. Just, you know, keep it like Pg-13.

Abby was looking around everywhere, eyes darting in all directions. She was just noticing every little thing, grinning like a little kid, and saying 'hello' to every were she passed.

((Oh, I know. I didn't mean hardcore Twilight stuff, just low-level.))

I put my hand back down, noticing how she didn't notice. "So," I say reaching the Healer's cabin. "Here we are." I announce.

ooc: Yeah, exactly. I was just making sure.

Abby immediately turned to face the cabin and her eyes lite up. "Yay! We're here! Now to meet the people I'll be working with." She then knocked on the door excitedly. After a moment, it opened.

A young lady stood there who was about as petite as Abby was. She shoulder-length blond hair and blue eyes. She wore a pink shirt and a denim skirt, with white tennis shoes. "Who are you?" She asked.

"Oh, I'm Abigail, but you can call me Abby. I'm a healer. Your leader said I could live here." She smiled.

The girl blinked, as if she didn't believe that. "Alright. Come on in, I guess. I'm Lucy, by the way. I'm just an apprentice. Our healer, Matt, isn't in right now."

I looked at Abby , then to Lucy. Huh, I sighed this'll be fun. With that I walked in behind Abby.

Abby immediately started looking around the cabin. There were several bookshelves, all killed with medical novels and such. There were also shelves and shelves of herbs and medicine. Various cabinets were filled with supplies. The place was well stocked. Abby smiled as she explored the place.

"Wow, you're well prepared here. All your medicine ingredients are in the right place, tools and such are neatly put away and look brand new. This must be a great place to work in. The last healer's cabin I was in wasn't as nice as this one."

Lucy shrugged. "It's fine." She stated plainly.

"So how long have you been training? How many books have you read so far? Have you had on-the-job experience yet? There's nothing like working alongside your mentor and helping someone. I still remember my first patient. Man, I was so nervous! I could barely holds the tools steady. I thought I would mess up for sure. If you want, I could teach you a few things. I could even find a wild mouse for you to dissect, if you haven't had the opportunity already. It's good to practice and study a lot." She rambled on.

Lucy just stayed quiet, her eyes wide at how long Abby could ramble on without needing to stop to breathe. She also talked rather fast and didn't even pause long enough for her to reply. At this point, Lucy was already hoping that Matt would walk through that door, so that she wouldn't have to try to keep up a conversation with this girl.

I patted Lucy's shoulder. "Just say yes, it'll get her to realize she's rambling. Plus, you'll get to dissect a mouse." I say with fake enthusiasm.

"I've already done that, though." Lucy whispered to him. "Plus, she'll probably explain every little thing and just ramble more."

And Abby was doing just that. As she continued to look around the cabin, she began telling the story of how she became a healer and what her patient was, etc. It didn't matter if they were paying attention or not, she continued to tell the story.

Rayan walked off, but she had noticed how protective of Abby Tangath had been. She thought this over, ansd decided to take action at a much later time. Besides, the other two are probably observant enough for something big like this. . If they don't... someone'll have to tell them. She honestly hoped to become good enough friends with them for that

Tangath walked over to Abby, and grabbed her shoulders. "Abby." He said "Stop talking, you're scaring poor little Lucy I've there. Or, if you won't stop talking, I'll have to make you stop." He said with a wink.

Shard walked out, looking around to see if he could glimpse Rayne. When he didn't find her, he went next door to where Nadia and Roxy and Abby were staying and knocked. Maybe Rayne was still in there talking to the new members. At least he might get a vague idea of where she went.

Rayan just loitered around camp, wondering what to do. Finally, after thinking it tgroufh, she decided to ask Rayne a very Important question. As she walked towards Rayne, she realized the general was busy. "Maybe later.." she mutters to herself as she walked off. And besides, what had she been thinking!? That she could just walk up there and ask the general a question? As if.

Abby gasped and covered her mouth. She had no idea she was talking that much. "Oops! Sorry! I just get so carried away sometimes." She giggled. "I'll try not to talk so much."

Nadia and Roxanne heard the knock at the door. "Abby, get the door!" They both yelled at the same time. However, there was no response. They didn't hear her voice, or the door opening, or anything. The little werecat had neglected to tell them she was leaving. Nadia and Roxanne came out of their bedrooms and confronted each other.

"Why are we so popular today? I haven't even unpacked yet." Roxanne sighed.

"And where's Abby? She should be here, either unpacking or answering the door." Nadia added.

"Well, someone has to get it. You go. I'm busy."

"Well, I am, too! You get the door. I don't want to talk to anyone."

"How about we both just get it before we argue all night?"

"Okay, fine." Nadia sighed. Then they both went over to the door. Nadia opened it.

"So are you the welcoming party? Did you bring a gift?" Roxy asked him.

Tangath dropped his arms "Good." He said chuckling. "Now, let's go do whatever it is you were wanting to do."

Lucy sighed and rolled her eyes. "For crying out loud, I've already dissected stuff and studied plenty. I need a break from all the work, and the last thing I need is another mentor that's more annoying than the first."

Abby frowned a bit. "Well, if you don't want me to teach you, then that's fine. I just thought I could share some of my knowledge and experience with you. I mean, not every healer as fully mastered their job by the age of twenty."

"No, just your new neighbor for a few days. I'm looking for the General who I believe showed you into your new home. Is she here? Or where did she go?" He asked in an even tone as he stared at Nadia, sizing her up. .....D@amn, she's good. She's really strong. I can tell just by looking at her. It would be unwise to mess with her. Even I'm intimidated. He realized, but didn't back down at all. Shard knew he had to retain his own composition because as a first impression, she was sizing him up too. It's what warriors did when they meet a potential foe or friend alike.

"No, she's not here." Roxanne replied. "She left a while ago. Went to go do general stuff, I'm assuming. Went off in that direction." She pointed towards Rayne's cabin.

"So you stopped by to bother us about that?" Nadia huffed. "We're still unpacking, and you expect us to know what the general is up to? We didn't even catch her name. Just get out of here and stop wasting our time." Nadia then walked off to go finish unpacking.

Ooc: I continue to wonder why most of the characters seem to be judging by strength.

Rayan continued to wander aimlessly, until she noticed Shard. So many newcomers today. She walked over to him, decided against talking to him, and picked up a medicinal root she recognized. She then started to head towards the Healers Cabin.

Lucy shrugged. "Okay, fine. Whatever. Close the door on your way out."

Abby sighed, disappointed that she hadn't succeeded in making a friend. "Okay, well... Bye..." She muttered. Then she headed out the door.

As Tanagth and Abby were walking, he said, "Well, that went well."

Shard sighed. "Whatever. Thanks." He was kind of annoyed and then noticed Rayan walk up to him. "Hello, what can I do for you." He said in a even tone. A voice he usually used when selling weapons or doing business.

ooc: Well, as I explained Shard's somewhat of a mercenary and Nadia is a hunter. So as fighters, most fighters do size each other up by strength if meeting for the first time.

Abby sighed, frowning. "I get the feeling people here don't like me very much."

Ooc: my character is a fighter as well, but I see Roxanne as the most threatening of the bunch.

Rayan turned around, "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you. But since I've already started talking, I suppose I can continue. Oh wait, sid I say that out loud? Nevermind. When and why did yoy come here?"

Tangath looked at her and said "Well, I like you. And I'm sure at least toe other people will like you too." He looked away for a bit. "Anyway, where do you want to go now?" I ask.

Ooc: may I make a second character?

Abby smiled at him. Then she thought about where she wanted to go. "I know. How about the warrior cabin? My sister isn't very social, so maybe I could check it out for her."

ooc: Roxanne, huh? That's interesting. Well, sooner or later, you'll see what all three of them are capable of. Then you might just change your mind on which you think is the most dangerous. x3

And yes, you can make another character. Just post the sheet for them.

Tangath nodded. "Sure," he said "It'll be nice to introduce you to my buddies." He said smirking. "Be careful though, most of them don't have a girl, and will probably be all over you. Though, if you need help, I'll be kicking their asses."

"I'd love to meet your friends." Abby smiled. "You don't have to beat up anyone for me, though. My sister does enough of that on her own. I'll be fine."

Tangath shrugged. "Eh, if ya say so." He said "But be warned, they don't know when to back off when asked." He says, putting an arm around her shoulder.

Shard gave a grim smile. "I don't mind. I'm not staying here permanently, I just live alone. I'm a blacksmith, and your leader ordered some new weapons. So I brought him his order and I'm just here to get my payment, perhaps sell a few extra items and be on my way." He said simply.

"Hmm... well, I don't know you well enough to try to encourqge you to stay, and I would definitely fail anyway. Howbdo you make your weapons? I mean, like, what's your favorite material or mqterials?"

"Thanks for the tip, but I think I can handle myself." Abby smiled. She didn't seem worried at all.

"Eh," he said "you'll probably want my advice once we get inside the cabin."

They reached the cabin, and Tangath opened the door, holding it open for Abby, "Here we are." He says.

"Thank you. What a gentleman." Abby smiled as she walked inside. The warrior cabin was as expected. It was a large space full of tough and buff weres of all kinds. Most were training, either with each other, or alone with tools. Most appeared to be male, but there were plenty of females there, too. Some didn't even pay any attention to Abby, others noticed her right away.

Eventually, a little after Tangath had closed the door behind him, the group of warriors all went silent. "Who this Tangath?!" A wereboar yelled out. "Yeah!" Came an agreement of sorts.

"Well, this is Abby," I say, pointing to Abby. "Abby, guys, guys, Abby."

"Hi!" Abby grinned, waving at everyone. She waited a legit second for someone to move or speak, and then she started to ramble. "So, anyway, I'm a healer. I just moved here with my sister and best friend. My sister's a hunter. My friend's a scout. They're still busy packing, but I decided to explore the camp."

Tangath put his hand on her shoulder "Um," he says "I think it'd be best if you tried not to ramble." He said with a slight smirk.

"Well, I work with metals of course. And it's just business. I don't usually stay in one place very long. Besides, I like working alone." Shard said as he walked towards Rayne's cabin.
