"I'll be taking my leave!" Russ runs off, stopping near where Nasaye stood.

Karkat looks at Russ and nods.
"Thanks, but I didn't need it." He says, taking off quickly.

I groggily get up, and I look around to see Karkat, and Russ running away. I decide to go after my original quarry, and I radio the other members of the guard about Russ.

"You're not getting away that easy." I say starting off in a slow jog, slowly getting in to a sprint.

"Aaw man. He's trying. Why can't he be like the last three?" Russ questins himself alloud. He continued to. Run, and found a downhill street. He blasts ice onto the ground and slides down extremely quickly. He saw three red cars, four blue cars, and a rainbow colored one.

Karkat had reached the poor parts of Xenos. The South side. The place where he had lived for as long as he could remember. He sees that Eli is still following and sneers.
"Hey Equius. Some help please?" He calls out.

A boy walks from the shadows.
"Hey Kar." He says, he sees Eli and sighs. "I see you got another pursuer again."

Personality: Tough, always keeps his cool, one of the strongest. He sometimes can be cold and will once in awhile like to be alone.

Eli stops seeing the new arrival to the chase.
"Aw," Eli says disappointed "I was hoping to only have to kill one person today." Eli says completely serious, drawing his sword, and shrugging his shield onto his arm. "Let's do this."

Alvira see's a few people gooving around, and aproach them.

Equius cracks his knuckles almost cheerfully, cracking a small grin.
"I haven't beaten up a small pipsqueak like him in awhile." He laughs.

Karkat steps back. He knew Equius could pack a hard punch, good enough to break your jaw.

Eli looks at Equius and laughs. Just laughs.

Equius doesn't even stop to think about Eli's laughing. He dashed forward with scary speed and slammed a hard punch into Eli's shoulder, enough to dislocate his shoulder, or at least knock him to the ground.

Thankfully, Eli's armor was enough to at least save his shoulder from being dislocated.

He spat on the ground "Heh," he said, wing his mouth, "This'll be fun." He says, dropping his sword and shield to the ground. As soon as they clatter to the ground, Eli goes for a quick kick to Equius's lower region.

"What in the name of the Gods are you guys doing!?" A voice suddenly calls from behiend, it was me, looking shocked.

Karkat turns to look at Alvira. He shrugs.
"Equius is helping me out."

Equius laughs and catches Eli's leg, twisting it hard.

"AAAAAAAGGGHHHH!" Eli yells in pain, trying to get his leg free from Equius's grip.

He finally he got out of his grip, when, just in time, his partner, Jackor, showed up. "ELI!" He yelled, running towards his friend.

"Equius! That's good! He's distracted! Let's go!" Karkat yells, and the two take off at a quick speed, making a nice getaway.

"Um... kinda rough...anything I can do?" Alvira asks.

Jackor was about to go after them, when Eli stopped him "We can get them another day. Better to live longer than shorter." He said, slowly getting to his feet.

"But," Jackor said, anger in his voice "they're getting away!"

"I know," Eli said "We can get them another day." And with that, Eli and Jackor, unhappily, when back to base.

"Is it a trend to ignore me?" Alvira asks.

Karkat waves to Alvira to follow them.

The three reach a ladder. Karkat and Equius scale it quickly to the top, which is the top of a crumbling building. Karkat pulls food from his backpack for the three and sighs.
"I could have been put in jail this time."

Equius laughs.
"You'd just get back out."

"What's this?" Alvira asks.

"Sandwich. Sorry, I never get much time to pick and choose." Karkat says.

"GUYS!?" I seem rather annyoied. "Tell me what's going on now!"

When Eli and Jackor reach the base, they're asked a bunch if questions, like how they're quarry hit away, what they did, their strengths and weaknesses. "Calm down." Eli says. "They hit the best of us. It won't happen again commander."

"We're thieves." Is all Karkat states.

"That's all?" Alvira crosses her arms and looks at everyone with Red glowing eyes, instead of the normal blue ones.

"Hey, if you were from the poorer parts of Xenos, wouldn't you be a thief too?" Karkat inquires.

Eli and Jackor had been moved from the city towers, to patrol duty. "Well," Eli says, "at least we'll have a better chance to find those thieves."

"Nope, I'm not that poor! Instead, I am a Guardian of the lake's, so it's pretty nice and decent for me. They call me the Water Vampire of the night, especially at cartain nights. You're robbing around my work-place, Ksst! Hush and go away, if you do I won't allert the Guards!" I aproach with a staff and point the people the exit.

Karkat shrugs.
"We have to run from the cops anyway. It's about time Equius and I left this place."

"Then go or I call the GUAARDS!" I scream loud enough for anyone around to hear me.

Eli and Jackor hear the yell, and start sprinting towards that direction. "Here's our chance for revenge!" Jackor yells out as they run.

"Now now.... what are you guys doing now?" I ask with a smirk.

((Are you talking to Eli and Jackor?))

Karkat stands and looks at Equius.
"Time to go!" He says cheerily, and the two walk off, slipping into the shadows on their way.

They arrived right as Karkat and Equius start to leave. "Hey!" Eli yells put, chasing after the two criminals. "Not again." Jackor sighs starting after Eli.

Karkat doesn't even have to look behind him. Eli is loud enough for Karkat to know exactly when to toss up a shadow barrier in front of Eli to stall as they run off.

Eli runs smack into the shadow barrier, getting knocked off of his feet. "Ow." He says, rubbing his head, "They got away again!" He said getting up and running towards a different route towards the poorer parts of town.

Karkat laughs and runs faster down the road. He creates a skateboard out of shadow for him and Equius and jumps on, rolling down fast, Equius behind.

((Well, the fact that Eli's loud enough where he didn't have to look behind him))

Eli and Jackor had begun to get on a road parallel to Karkat and Equius, when they noticed the two come out of a back alleyway, on skateboards. "Go get the motorcycles!" Eli yelled at Jackor, picking up his pace.

(Oh yeah )

Karkat shrugs as they continue rolling.
"Motorcycles. That'll take them forever to retrieve."

Eli runs past a restaurant where a motorcycle was parked. "Sorry!" He yelled back at the customer he stole from.

Karkat and Equius had slipped into the cover of darkness.

Eli had been watching them, gaining on them, then....poof! They were gone! "What the.." Eli said, amazed at how they just disappeared.

Karkat smiled softly. He loved his power of darkness.

After his initial sense of shock wore off, he realized what had happened. "Damn it!" He yelled put, kicking the tire of the motorcycle. He walked off, right as. Jackor pulled up with their motorcycles. "They get away again?" He asked. "Yeah." Eli said, hopping on his motorcycle, heading back to base.

Karkat and Equius stopped at a small hole in the wall building to rest. It was unoccupied, so they were safe from any intruders for the night.
