I was thought not to be offended by this type of ****.I was teased my whole life with my name since there was another guy in my class with the same name but spelled differently.I was thought:

Sticks and stones may break my bones,but names will never hurt.

Any ways I would be one of those people who name my kids something from my child hood

Boy:Baron(Literally means son of Aaron which is my name),Arthur(After my Grandfather),Gryphon,Hunter(Is a real name and Spyro<3) or Tiz(Bravely Default <3)

Girl:Edea(Bravely Default <3),Elsa(Frozen <3),Gillian(After my late sister),Anna(Pronounced like the way is Frozen <3),Anges(From Bravely Default <3) or Maya(I love that name)

Yeah, but not everyone is going to think like you. I mean, it's great that you didn't get offended, but some people get offended quicker and easier than others do. You were "teased" because someone had the same name as you. That's not a huge deal. But if a kid is named something strange and teased and picked on their whole life because of it, yeah that's kind of a problem. It's not good for they're mental health, especially when they are younger, and that could affect them throughout life. Kids can be mean little pricks. There is that whole "sticks and stones..... names can never hurt" thing, but to some people names do hurt.

I once met a little girl who her parents named "Kairi" after the Kingdom Hearts character. I wouldn't doubt Will's seriousness....

tbh, the girl's name I listed before (First name Tera, middle Elena) is reference to characters.

Tera comes from the Teen Titans character "Terra", just dropping an R to make it more normal.

Elena is derived from Larxene of Kingdom Hearts. The character's design is based on the FF7 character Elena, a member of the Turks. Rearranging the letters in Larxene's name to try and find her name from when she was whole (meaning drop the X), you can get Elena with a left-over R.

I like the idea of giving my child a unique name as much as the next person, but I kinda agree with Bravo that giving them a name that stands too far out of the norm is just setting them up to be made fun of throughout their school life.
