If you like the Simpsons this is a balanced mature game.

It is right in the middle of a V-day event so good time to start. I find this game far less time consuming than skylanders but my town is tiny. Some of the people here have insane towns.

If you have room, add stimpybee and firecracker821. My wife and daughter.

I haven't picked it up for a long time, but I did really enjoy playing Tapped Out.

I'm with midas - Lost Islands has taken so much time, the thought of starting another similar game doesn't sound very appealing. Although the thought of this same group is very tempting!

I have not stopped playing lost island, but now I only play 1 or 2 times a day , I don't need more money because I have nothing to buy, I only left 2 companions (old mac and cherry ), but do not need because I have sufficcent energy and stones , so now I have almost 4000 gems I keep hoping that one day the devs make something new ( I have more clear every day that it will not be ) . I keep sending my everyday gift , I think not until the moment I have never forgotten.
If I have to choose: I love lost island , no doubt, but now I have nothing to do.
Simpson is funny because at first there are many objectives (at the beginning) , but I admit that I have not removed "the spine" of not playing to LI (¿spine, it says so?).
Simpson is right, the idea is similar lost island, but it doesn't make you waste too much time because you can choose objectives 1 - 4 to 6 or 8 hours. There are many objects to acquire and you can also have friends and visit their cities ( I love to visit ) . The best, my game never crashed visiting.
I encourage you to play, because one of the things that has caused me more grief that Activision stop supporting Lost island was that I like this forum and see what others think .
I don't know how to do , but we could have a forum about Simpson, like this, I could be fun (I'm going to stop writing about Simpson here , because I think the moderators are going to scold me ) .

I think it was enough with "removing the thorn", not the spine. I hate the translator, it makes me say stupid things !!!

I cannot stand the Simpsons. Only thing worse than them is South Park no one in this house likes them.

I have a high level FarmVille sitting untouched which I abandoned when 14yo took up Lost Islands.

We still have 5 Lost Islands mine plus others at levels 12, 30 and 38 and one crashed at 38(will probably never be recovered now)

There are 6 figures still tucked away in the cupboard.

I will still come in here, not sure what i will do for a game myself.

I have about 8 skylanders tucked into the cupboard that we may never open. The death of lost islands combined with the lackluster Wii port are killing all enthusiasm for this game around Castle Midas.

Amapole - no need to apologize about your English! I can't even imagine trying to read or post in any language but English. I think the fact that you do is amazing.

I'm tempted by the Simpsons - just because of what is being said here - but I'm going to resist for now. I still have skylanders who are not yet level 15, and I still have a few expensive companions left to buy, once I save up enough gems and they go on sale. So even though Lost Islands is dead, I haven't "completed" it yet, in my mind. Once I do, I may be ready for the replacement, but not quite yet for me.

Which facebook page? Activision Assist? They've always responded. The person who writes on there, though, is more than likely a basic social media person or low-level tech support person with little knowledge of tech support. They usually just respond with generic answers and probably just pass on information to those who can really answer it. I've just scrolled through comments and see no one posting about Lost Islands except for a couple of tech support questions that they normally answer, anyway (I even responded to one that they happened not to answer). They have yet to give an answer to Lost Islands getting an update other than they have no information. I would like to think that they would announce that they have stopped supporting it like they did when they shut down Universe, but since it's not really shut-down and they still support individual questions (unrelated to any bugs in the game) they probably aren't making any announcements to keep people interested in playing (and thus spending money). Most people who are playing are probably not on these forums knowing that the game has seemed to have lost support with updates. You can tell that by the questions being asked on the facebook page that they would know if they were on these forums.
