Referring back to another thread on the subject, if I had to choose houses I'd start this way (assuming gigantus and #1 fans are owned):

if you still need gold, then Tree Rex house so can use Barkley and keep Tree Rexes free for their 75% bonuses
Ninijini - use mini-jini and keep 2 giants free for 50% bonuses
Thumpbacks - use thumpling and keep 2 giants free for 50% bonuses
Eye-Brawl - use eye-small and keep giant free for 50% bonus

Hot head - only giant/alt/legendary house I know of that gives 8 gems

After that, to me it's really a toss-up, but I'd go with alt/sidekick houses next because you're only giving up 25% bonus instead of the giants 50% bonus.

If gold is no longer a challenge for you, then I don't think it really matters and I'd get Hot Head because of the slightly better gem production.

I didn't know that Hot Head's house gave out more. I got the offer for his house after I already decided on Trigger Snappy's. I like the sidekick houses because they only take 1 space instead of 4.

As for the time traveling trick that was posted, was that to get the wishing well to clear out and reset? I'm not sure if I'm following why that would work. I have over 1200 stones, so if I knew that it would work to just throw a bunch in and win the current Grand Prize, then be able to load another one, I would go for it. It would be worth it if I got something good in the well.

Edit: Nevermind, I think I get what you're saying. Save to the cloud. Throw enough stones to win the Grand Prize, which would reset the well. Go back in time to get it to create an older local save, then re-open it in the present (out of airplane mode) and pick the cloud save, reverting you back to the save before you spent all the stones. You'll lose what you won in the well, but should get your stones back. Not sure if it would keep the reset, though.

Edit 2: I tried going through those steps. I was able to reset my stones, but the well also still had Roller Brawl in the Grand Prize. I wonder if I time travel ahead of time to see if would grab another item before coming back. If it does pick up a new item and then resets back to Roller Brawl after using the cloud save, it might still be worth it to keep trying to something you want, and if you get low on stones, just start over again by picking the cloud save. There's also the chance that they programmed Roller Brawl into that slot if you jump ahead in time instead of a random item. Anyone else want to try? With the expected update, I would think that there would be timed quests, so we might have to wait until they're done.

I was only meaning as a way to answer your questions about winning it again but getting your stones back (and losing the prize).

Looks like there was another update and the personal offers are gone now. I was planning on buying Cupid Flameslinger's House when I got home from work. Then I get home to find that offer, and the offer for Ol' Mac, both gone.

I got Whisper Elf's house, this morning. Then I noticed I didn't have them anymore. Was hoping to get QuickDraw at 50% off. I guess I'll have to spend the 300 gems if I want the shrine. I should get them back, though, when the figure comes in. Was hoping it would be before Christmas. If not, we may hold it for a while as a gift for something else, so I won't have the code. And even if I do, I'll have to wait another week to get the gems back. It would leave me with very few gems in case something else comes up. Now that wish stones aren't as valuable (although I still wonder their value once you get all the Halls anyway), I'm not sure the shrines are as valuable. I guess we do get the element of tr day bonus.

I have gotten 75% off skylander offers that do not show on the info/offer screens. at first I thought it was a one time thing that happened but it's occurred more than once. now every time I launch the game I scroll through each element to see if there is one marked as 75% off. anyone else get this random silent offer?

There is an offer for 75% off Legendaries. Are you getting others as well?

It seems that the houses with 25% discount are gone as a personal offer. I only get airships and beach houses at a discount. How about you guys?

Personal offers have been gone for a couple of days, now (well, actually, I think sometime yesterday morning...but yesterday and today). They've since went back to daily offers. I luckily slipped in a Whisper Elf house right before it went away. But that left me without enough to buy Quickdraw and Snow Brawl's hut. I just went ahead and bought Quickdraw knowing I would get the gems back after my son gets him for Christmas (yes, they have shipped and should arrive any day!).
