"Eden is known as the Ark Closest to Heaven, kupo. A kingdom of the gods,kupo. It is some sort of promised land." Arekkusu answered.

Apollo stepped back outside. "It appears the man is okay. He is just a bit unstable due to the amount of drinks he had. A nice lady is escorting him to the inn. He did give me this though." He held out his hand, in it was a Grimoire Stone. A magical crystal that boosts the entire party's magical attack and defense.

"Wow, kupo. Hey Apollo, Soron wants to know more about Eden, kupo." The moogle said, eying the other crystal.

Apollo gave the stone to Arekkusu and he nearly fell down to its size. So Arekkusu just sat down next to it to examine the crystal.
"Well, Eden is a kingdom of gods. Only those I guess you call, 'pure' are allowed in there. A long time ago in ancient texts, it spoke of an ancient race who created the Mystic Arcana to help win the war between Eden and Purgatorio. Eden won, despite losing the Arcana. They got it back and split it into 4 parts. One in Eden, two on earth and one in Purgatorio. Some say, the goddess, Eden, was who it was named after, and she rests within the spirit of the Ark. It used to be an amazing place, but I don't know since it is still recovering from the war, like we are."

"Kupo. As you are familiar, we used to live in a world full of technology, but it has long since been forgotten due to the war. People refer to technology as ancient machina. They say that it is too old to build up and restore, kupo, so people forgot about it and moved on, kupo." Arekkusu replied as he tried to lift the crystal up. Multiple 'kupos' could be heard from the struggling moogle until Apollo picked it up, Arekkusu with it.

"Having trouble?" He laughed.

Arekkusu frowned. "Oh, kupo. Thankupo."

Apollo continued with his story. "I want to go to Eden, like everyone else, but it seems near impossible, the ability to get their would kill someone. They say, an Oracle resides somewhere far away that has a key to getting to Eden, but some say he died without giving the information to his pupil. I don't know for sure, and most people don't know either. His name was Bartholus, a famous thaumaturge, or miracle worker. I think if we plan on going to Eden, we should seek him out. Maybe somebody might know, but I doubt anyone here is Bisga would."


"I see. I guess you're right, leaving would be very sudden and might worry everyone, but I understand. Well, if you change your mind, the ship leaves tonight, south of here at the port. It was nice to talk to you, Varai. May our paths cross again someday." Freija smiled. She then walked out the barn and went down to where Apollo, Soron, Arekkusu, and Loracarane were standing.

OOC: So Defender is obviously going to be added, but it's a tie between Scholar and Seer. What ever shall we do. Well, pick again, those who want Scholar, say it and those for Seer say it. I vote SEER!

OOC: Scholar

Varai nodded. "Maybe I could bring you along. I'd have to ask the others, but It'd be nice to have a little buddy with me" Varai said to the small chick. The chick chirped happily as Varai stepped inside the coop. "Would it be alright if I took this little guy on a trip with me?" Varai asked the birds. The birds chirped in a way to say yes. Varai gave a polite smile. "Thank you. I'll tell my boss to watch after you guys. I may or may not be back, But I'll always be in your hearts" Varai said with a small laugh. "I will be packing." Varai waved a small goodbye to the birds and picked up the little chick. She walked to the main farmhouse and went upstairs to her room, and grabbed a small over-the-shoulder back. She placed an amulet, a pouch of grain, a pouch of money, and a small cage to carry the chick around in. Varai ran downstairs and set off towards the ship, carrying the chick safely in her hands.

OOC: Seer - 1 / Scholar - 1. Who will win????

It was getting late. The group had all gone to the port. Freija, Arekkusu, Apollo, Soron, Loracarane, were all ready and gathered all they needed. They begun boarding the ship taking them across the small ocean to the coastal town, Shear.

(The Bustling port filled with Merchant ships and people boarding them)

"So, Varai isn't coming then?" Apollo asked Freija.
Freija nodded her head. "I think she wants to, but she was scared that if she leaves, it would be utter turmoil for the farm. I told her best of luck and to take it easy and may we meet again."

"I see. Would've been nice for a Gladiator to come. Well, I guess people decide their own fate." Apollo said. As the ship was slowly moving away from the port he and Freija saw a girl in black running towards the boat, yelling, 'STOP!'. "Hey, that's Varai! She's trying to board. We have to help her!"

(Apollo and Freija noticing Varai chasing the boat.)

"Sir, can you stop this boat! Somebody forgot to board. Please." Freija said.

The captain shook his head. "I'm afraid I can't do that, miss."

"But, she is trying to get on, you can't just leave her here!" She argued.

"I told you, I can't stop, we have started leaving." The captain said. "If I could, I would, but I can't."

Freija ran back to Apollo. "We gotta think of something... Fast!" Freija said. She and Apollo quickly looked around the main deck. Apollo noticed a long piece of rope.

"It's a stretch but I think I can tie this to an arrow and shoot it for her to grab on to." Apollo nodded.

"I am willing to try anything now, we can not leave her." Freija said. "Let's go."
Freija and Apollo tied the knot on the arrow and he fired it at a barrel and Varai tightly held on and Apollo and Freija both pulled at Varai clung for life while holding her pet.
"C'mon we can do this!" Freija cringed. "Pull harder! We gotta get her on board."

After pulling Varai got onto the deck. Her boots slightly wet from being in the water from being pulled out from the port.
"Are you okay?" Freija asked.

"Of course" Varai said with a polite bow of her head. "Thank you. This little guy is alright too" Varai said revealing the little chocobo chick, safely tucked in her pocket. "Thank you again for helping me board. I decided I would come along, to see what the outside world beyond my village is like" Varai said cheerfully. The little chick was climbing up Varai's arm to her shoulder, and Varai gently pet the little chick. "Also, if you have any name ideas for the chick, I'm open to them. Little guy doesn't have a name yet" Varai said with a small chuckle as she looked down to the ground.

"Thank you for coming. This is going so fast. I never thought this would ever happen, but I don't know." Freija laughed and stroked her finger on the little chick's cheek and it seemed to love it. "Oh, how cute. You're gonna be a big strong chocobo some day, haha."

Apollo looked at the chick in a weird way. "That's not a yellow or white chocobo."

Freija and Varai looked at him. "What do you mean? It seems yellow to me." Freija said, looking a little closer. "Well, maybe it isn't."

Apollo gently took the chick and held it. The little chick jumped a few centimeters in joy. "It's a Golden Chocobo. One of the rarest breeds there is. This chocobo is a great warrior and pet, he can also cross Mountains and Rivers with his swift movements. I have a book of what Golden Chocobos can look like at a mature age. Lemme look."

"I say that since he is golden, give him the name, Radiance." Freija said, holding the chick and then returning it to Varai.

Varai nodded. "Alrighty, Radiance it is" Varai said as she gently took the chick. Varsity pulled out some grain and let the little chocobo eat. Varai smiled as she watched the little chick gobble up all of the grain. "So... Where are we going again?" Varai asked with a chuckle."I seem to have forgotten" The little chick resumed to climb up her arm to her shoulder, then to her head. Varai laughed as she gently took the Chocobo off her head. "Silly Radiance" Varai said cheerfully.

OOC: Sorry if my post isn't exactly 5 lines, I'm on my phone at the moment and this looked like 5 lines.

"Well, I hear this boat is taking off to a nearby coastal town called Shear. It's across this small ocean." Apollo said.

Just then a loud message came from the captain and spread to the crew. "A storm has been spotted and due to the aggressiveness of the clouds, we will be docking approximately a mile from the docks at Shear. You are welcome to go on to Shear in the storm, but it is not advised." The crew warned.

"Wow, look at the clouds." Freija said, pointing at the gray clouds. "They look kinda cool, but we should probably get to Shear as fast as possible. It doesn't seem safe to stay here, I mean, some of these merchants look shady, better keep your pockets tied up."

Arekkusu flied over onto Freija's shoulder. "Lookupo. The clouds, over there, it is starting to rain, kupo."

The rain was nothing more than a light shower. The ship had taken action and docked next to an old wood pier next to the sandy beaches. The group walked off the ship. "I don't see why the boat couldn't maneuver in this little rain shower. It is actually pretty nice." Apollo said.

"Yeah. I kinda like it too. Well, guys, Shear is over there, see." Freija said, turning her head towards the large port city. "Let's get going, they have a pretty nice inn from what I heard at Hyrien Academy."

The group got everything together and proceeded walking in the rain. Apollo took out a cloak and went over to Loracarane. "Hey, you look like you could use this. You seem to be cold. Take it, I will be fine." He then took the large navy blue cloak and put it over Loracarane's head and body. "There. That should help."

Arekkusu was nestled inside Freija's pack she carried, only his pom pom exposed. "Kupo, It's nice in here, hheheehee." He giggled. "Kinda dark, kupo."
Freija laughed and continued walking. "You know, this rain seems to be keeping the monsters away. Or, maybe the monsters are asleep."

Lorcarane looked at Apollo, wondering if he would ever feel the same way towards her. She had noticed he seemed slow to trust. She had also noticed he seemed close to Freija and decided to ask her about it. "Hey, Freija, can you keep a secret?" She whispered as she drew nearer to the Rune Fencer. Ooc: If she can't keep a secret totally disregard the next line.
"I have an itsy bitsy crush on Apollo. I thought I need to keep it small in case he got hurt, but I can't control it. I have noticed you two are close, any advice? Please?"

Seer - 1 / Scholar - 2. If Convexity chooses Seer I will ask my brother, but if he chooses Scholar, I will add it.

"I can keep this. The reason we are so close is because we are like brother and sister. We have been friends for as long as I can remember. But I understand. Well, he lent you his cloak, and he seems to like you. So, I would just keep on trying slowly at a time and taking it easy when around him. You don't want to come on too strong, but try a little bit. Don't worry, I won't tell." Freija whispered.

"Kupo, kupo!" Arekkusu giggled. "Lora-"

Freija shook her bag that held the moogle. "Don't say anything."

"Hehehehehehe." Arekkusu said. "I won't tell. Your secret's safe with me, kupo."

In the distance, light was shining and voices were heard. They had finally arrived in Shear.
"Let's hurry, we should probably get going to the inn." Apollo said. "Finally, I can finally get out of this wet armour before it gets rusty, and sleep in a nice bed."

"I agree with that Apollo, but my Vest, instead of armor. It might get mildew. EEW" Lorcarane said a little awkwardly. "Thanks Freija, and I was thinking. If we gaet the mystic arcana on earth, then possibly get the one in Purgatio, then it would be easier to survive in Eden. We don't have to finish it, but still. I actually don't think we should finish it. That could have consequences we couldn't comprehend. But so could taking the ones on earth too." She observed before rushing to the inn.

Apollo and the rest walked inside the inn. "We need rooms for let's see, one, two, four, six- six people, please." Apollo asked the lady at the inn.

"Why yes, here, let me sign out everything." The innkeeper said, then walked over to the rack and pulled out 3 keys. "Sorry, rooms are tight, so you'll have two people to a room."

Apollo took the keys. "Alright, thank you. Also, do you have working water here? Also, a place to dry this armour?"

"I think so, just bring down the armour later and I will see where I can put it." She smiled.

"Thank you." Apollo said and returned to the group. "Okay, so who wants to room with who?"

Arekkusu flew over and grabbed a key. "I'm with Freija, kupo!"

"Hahaha, okay Arekkusu. Room, 5. Okay. G'night everybody." Freija said walking upstairs with Arekkusu.

"Well, that leaves us. Who wants to room with me?" Apollo asked.

"I think Soron should. Seeing as your both male. So that leaves me and Varai? Ok." She then went to her room, and used a bit of magic to dry off her vest and clothes. She then summoned Yamato-Takeru, because she always confided in him. She then began to wonde why Freija hadn't commented on her idea. It was kind of rude, but maybe Freija just had stuff on her mind. It probably wasn't easy leading a group of adventurers. (Lorcarane thinks of Freija as tne leader.) Oh wait, she had rushed off before Freija could speak so she couldn't have been being rude.

Loracarane and Varai heard knocking at the door. It was Freija. "Hi Lora. Um, sorry, I didn't answer your question. I was busy thinking of a good answer. I suppose getting all the Arcana together wouldn't be the best idea. I just want to explore the world, and Eden too, before I die that is. I am not too big on finding the Mystic Arcana fragments, more so just adventuring."

Freija looked down. "Well, I suppose I shouldn't leave Arekkusu, he might get worried. By the way, I think Apollo is downstairs if you wanna go see him.

"Varai is watching. She may have heard you..... and I agree with that, I just thought it may assist us in exploring. I never wanted to unite them unite them. Unless of course they wouldn't help us in fragments. And thanks for the Apollo tip." Lorcarane then, careful not to bump into Freija, walked downstairs., and spotted Apollo. "Hey. So, what do you think of our plan. I mean, the plan about Eden. I'm not sure about how to get there but I came up with an idea. SInce the mystic Arcana were created by the beings that once inhabited Eden, maybe we could use it to get in, and possibly help us with pesky monster. But not completely unite it. That may be dangerous. I mean who know, maybe the power would overwhelm are frail human bodies or something like that. That'd have a horrible affect on our health.

Varai was ignoring the chatter as she pet Radiance cheerfully. She fed Radiance and gently pet him. Varai had taken off her coat and boots to let them dry, so she was only wearing her dress she always had on. The dress was a short-sleeve black dress that reached about halfway down her thighs. Her silver hair was moist, making it drop down to her shoulders. Varai kept her bag with her coat and boots, and had her sack of grain near her. Varai also had the amulet that was in her bag with her. She toyed with the gemstone on it and twirled it within her fingers. She sighed as she pet little Radiance.

OOC: Not much happened, just the group had to leave the ship during a rain shower and made it to Shear and is staying at the inn.

Apollo looked at Lora. "Well actually, the Mystic Arcana is powerless unless are four fragments are combined. I think there has to be another way to get into Eden, but I don't know. Maybe the ancient Thaumaturges might know an answer, like Bartholus." He then took off the top half of his armour and put on a clean shirt and set out his armour to dry next to a kindled flame. "Who knows. Maybe it is impossible to go to Eden, it could be completely sealed off for all we know. But I like your sense of adventure and spontaneity."

Freija sat on the bed next to Varai. "So, this little guy sure is cute. But, actually, I have a question, if you don't mind me asking. How come you decided to come with us?" She asked, stroking the chick's cheek. "I mean, you don't have to answer, I was just curious, that's all."

Outside, the rain was gentle and Arekkusu had been sitting on the window of Freija's room looking outside at the rain. "I miss you guys, kupo." The moogle said as he wiped a little tear. "I hope one day we see each other again, kupopo..." Arekkusu cried.

"I kind of wanted to see what was out there, outside my village. I also wanted to see if I could escape the memories of my past" Varai said, clenching the amulet tightly within her hands. Radiance looked at Varai with sad eyes, then to Freija with the same look, as if he was trying to say "Help her", in a way. Varai loosened her grip on the amulet, but she still seemed to look stiff, and uncomfortable. Varai closed her eyes, sadly.

OOC: This is going fast? Wow, seems slow, but alrght, nice to have you along for the short time. Maybe my friend Micah will be the Dragon Knight then.

Freija smiled and patted Varai's back. "That's exactly how I felt. I wanted to escape and see new sights. You have bad memories too?"

Arekkusu continued to look out the window. "Oh, kupo. I miss you- KUPO!" He shouted as the window opened due to not being locked and Arekkusu fell out but recovered by flapping his little wings. "Kupo...KupoKupo." He flew back up into the room of the inn. He then tried to dry himself off using a little fire.

Freija heard the window crash and got up. "Was that Arekkusu?" She wondered. "Varai, come with me, will you?"

OOC: It's okay. I understand.

(Apollo and Lora expressing their feelings)
In the empty armoury of the inn where Apollo and Lora were standing, Apollo finished drying his armour and walked over to Lora.
Apollo looked at Lora. "I have noticed the way you look at me."

She gasped a little, and was probably thinking about how he noticed.
Apollo then hugged her. "I know you like me, a lot. I like- No, I don't like you..."

Lora's heart must've been broken by this word. She put her head down, a tear ran down her eye. Apollo then kissed her on the lips.
"I love you." Apollo whispered. "I never said that to anyone before, but... I truly love you. You feel the same way about me, no?"

Om. My Dear. God. Thought Lorcarane. This is a dream. A very realistic one that happens directly after reality. "Y-Ye-Yes" she stuttered before hugging him. "sorry if you wanted a kiss but I am deeply apalled by the thought that if I kissed you, you would think I am going to fast even though you just kissed me, and that wouldn't be good. You must think I sound like a bumbling fool" She whispered into his ear whilst hugging him. His chest was warm and inviting, and she didn't want to stop hugging him, but after what seemed like forever in a moment, she let go.

Ooc: So if spyrocon is dropping out, does that mean Scholar wins?

OOC: I suppose so. So I will ad those two, my friend chose Scholar, so I will update that here now after this post.

Apollo smiled at Lora. "You are not a bumbling fool. You're a wonderful person. I love you though, and your personality. It's getting late, you should probably get back into the dorm with Varai. I will see you tomorrow." He said, smiling and giving one last warm hug to Lora. He then picked up his armour and went back to his room. Lora stood in the room, slightly trembling at what happened.

Arekkusu finished drying himself off and flew up and locked the tightly latched window. "Oh, kupo, what a night." He said to himself. "I hope I didn't worry Freija, I should go check on her, kupo." He then flew out the door and over to Varai's room and saw Freija and her getting ready to leave.

Freija smiled and laughed. "Oh there you are you silly moogle." She said and hugged him. "What happened? Your fur is damp."

"I was sitting on the windowsill and the lock wasn't tight and I fell out and got wet, kupo. I am okay now, kupo." Arekkusu cheered.

"That's good." Freija answered. "Well, Varai, I will be heading back to my room, so good night."

"Good knight, kupo." Arekkusu said waving to Varai.

"Thanks. will get going now." She walked up the stairs and went straight o Freija and spilled her guts heart everything. She then asked Freija "Do you think the relationship will work? Both of us could die anytime of day, and we have a dangerous proffesion. I just don't wanna see his heart, or see it ripped out by a dragon. What should I do?" She asked her, because Freija gave good advice, and was Apollo's best friend. She was her best option of advice, so this is her best choice for the relationship.

OOC: Okay, check out page 1 post 1. I added Scholar and Defender to the mix.

(Freija telling Lora all she needs to know. Funny thing is, I was listening to this as I thought out this post hehe.)

Freija put her hands on Lora's shoulders. "Ok, well you need to calm down. I am actually surprised he made the first move, that means something, anyway, the relationship will only work if both of you do your part in it, like you love him and he loves you and you both show it somehow, through helping each other or something. Also, don't think about death so much. All of us put our lives on the field, but it is worth it, because of all we see and do. You just need to show Apollo you love him and care about him. My mother loved my father very much, she sacrificed herself by getting hit with arrows to save my father, and he showed me everything I know today. I miss my parents dearly now that both are dead, but I still love them, and they loved each other. If you would put your life on the line for Apollo, that would tell everyone you surely love him... But you're too young to die. You have a lot to live for. Don't go and throw it away just for one person, regardless if you love them. I am not saying you can't love Apollo, just think before you do something. Okay?"

Arekkusu looked at Freija and Lora, his eyes were getting heavier and he soon fell down and went to sleep. Freija walked over and put him under the sheets of his bed. "Anything else, Lora?"

"Ok, and I really do love him. I always thought of life as an adventure, a ROMANTIc adventure hopefully, and I want to fulfill it with Apollo." She stated. "How should I pull my weight in the relationship, other than save his life in some way?" Lorcarane questiones before she looked at Arekkusu, and told Freija she had a fruit that could help him sleep. Probably. She then looked at the ground,thinking ablut ways. Maybe some sort of weapon she could make for him or something cool like that

"Well, I don't think sacrificing yourself to save him is worth it right now. But, let's see." Freija said, putting her fingers on her chin. "Well, do nice things for him, maybe buy him something? Maybe make him something, or just do romantic things, whatever you see fit. Life is what you make, so that is about all I can help you with. Sorry I can't tell you more. I haven't actually had much of a romantic life, being a battle instructor at an academy. I suppose you'll have to find your own ways to say you love him other just saying it. And don't worry about Arekkusu, little guys sleeps a lot. He is pretty young, maybe five or so. I love him though, been my best friend through thick and thin."

Arekkusu rolled over and snuggled in the blanket. "Well, it is getting late, I will see you in the morning, Lora. Sleep well."

"Thanks. and I had meant without sacrificing myself and saving him." she said mentally designing a bow for him. She climbed out of the window of her room and summoned Yamato-Takeru and found a branch. She climbed back in and took one of Varai's knives. By morning she had created a bow with an intricate design of animals and elemental symbols, She then found a string and stringed it. It was beautiful but she looked out the window, nervous that she may have led somebody to the innocent looking inn.

OOc: Also, for Defenders, their level 1 abilties are just Whirl Burst and the first Aura Guard skill, I can remember name of it.
I will wait for Varai to post before I post again.

OOC: Sorry, I was watching videos

Varai awoke in the morning to the sound of Radiance chirping in her ear. "I'm up. Radiance" Varai laughed as she got up. Varai put on her long black coat and put on her black boots. She took her puch of grain and fed Radiance. Varai gently pet Radiance with a chuckle. "Who needs an alarm clock when you have a chocobo" She joked as she gently tapped Radiance's beak. Varai picked up Radiance and set him on her pillow.

Freija opened the door and saw Varai and Lora up and ready. "Hi there. I trust you all slept well." She said

"Good morning, kupo." Arekkusu said.

"This morning I heard a noise, and there is some person down their with heavy armour. I couldn't tell if it was a man or woman. Seemed like a Defender."
Freija said. "Maybe, if they are willing to, maybe they could join us!"

Arekkusu flew over to Radiance. "Kupopopo." He giggled. "Hehe, tag you're it." He laughed and gently tapped Radiance's wing. The little chick and the moogle happily ran around the room.

"Anyway. Are you guys all ready? Apollo is downstairs getting everything together. I heard there is some person coming to the village, a Thaumaturge. I am curious to see if it is Bartholus." Freija noted. She then went outside and saw a young girl.

"Excuse me. I need to find the library of Cietra. I am an apprentice of the great Thaumaturge, Bartholus." The girl said.

"Is he alive?" Freija asked.

"Yes. Despite the rumors, but keep a low voice. You seem like someone who is able to keep a secret. Well, I need to find a book on the Mystic Arcana, Bartholus says he sees a man named Archael, the last of his race, plotting to reunite the Arcana and create a better world for Eden. I have to hurry and find the book, but I need some help getting there. The library is in the next town over, it's called Omis. It houses the library I seek." The girl answered.

Freija looked around. "Well, me and some friends are exploring, and you can come with us to Omis, we were going there next. Can you defend yourself?"

"Mhm. I can. Bartholus taught me some basic magic. So, I can come?" She asked.

"Why sure. Glad for you to come with." Freija smiled. "Come with me into the inn, we will wait for the rest of our group."

"Alright." She said, clutching her brown tome. "By the way, my name is Cara."

Lorcarane spotted Apollo, and rushed over to him. "I made you something," she mysteriously informed him before dramatically producing the bow. "I know it's not the best, and the chocobo looks a little weird but it's still pretty good." She then embarassedly stated before hugginghim and saying, "I love you forever." SHe then looked at the newcomer Cara,. She was moderately pretty, and her Mentor could definetly help them. AS long as she stayed by Apollo, it was not gonna be a long day.

"Wow, this looks amazing, Lora. Thank you so much." Apollo answered and hugged her. "I can't wait to try it out." Apollo and Lora than went down and talked to Cara. "So, you're joining us huh. I have a question. What is Bartholus like?"

Cara get a little red. "Well, I am surprised you knew, but Freija must've told you, but it's okay I trust you all. Anyway, Bartholus is a wonderful man. He always tells me about Eden, and one day how I should take his place as a Thaumaturge. He is very well-known and I hope to be as well. He is nice though, despite his harsh training and constant studying ancient texts. He taught me everything. I can utilize the power to see Eden, but not as great as him, but the cost severely tires me out and I get very sick. I have only ever done it twice."

"I see." Apollo said. "Well welcome to the team. I am Apollo. And this is Loracarane."

Cara shook both of their hands. "Well it's nice to meet you both." She then saw a floating white puff ball. "Is that, a moogle?" She asked in joy. "They are soooo cute."

"Kupo, kupo, kupo." Arekkusu giggled as Cara poked his pompom and belly. "That tickles, kupo." He laughed. "Hehehehehehe, stop, kupo, I am ticklish."

"Aww, you're soo cute. I wish I had a pet moogle. One that can talk like you." Cara said.

Apollo added. "Yeah, actually, to those who didn't know, Moogles can't actually talk."

"Kupo. Freija taught me how after a few months." The moogle added.

"Yep. It was fun though... Rough, but fun."

"Kupo." Arekkusu nodded.

Lorcarane looked out the window and saw a man outside with a sword and sheild. "Hey Apollo, look out there!" She alerted APollo to the mans presence. "Do you think he might join us? He looks capable." She stated before saying, " I saw a training area maybe you could practice with the dummies there. It's always a possibility." She said the looked back at the man.

Canis walked up to the inn and walked in. He saw a group of people, all looked skilled. Maybe he could help them with something. He then recognized a fellow Hyrien student and walked up to her.

Apollo looked at Lora. "That's the guy was here earlier. So, a Defender, he looks familiar, the face. He used to go to Hyrien Academy. I saw him but I don't personally know him.

The man in armour tapped Freija's shoulder. She turned around. "Hi there.... Wait a minute." She said. She then closely looked at the man. "Canis!" She smiled, and hugged him. "It's been awhile. I remember you from last year, the top student in my battle basics class, and my advanced techs class too. It is great to see you again. Crazy seeing you in Shear. How've you been?" She asked.

Arekkusu looked at man. "Kupo. Remember me?" He asked, sitting on Freija's shoulder.

Canis said, "I remember you to! You were top of a few of the other classas I was in." He then stated, " I always admired some of your skills." Lorcarane then walked over and stated, " Oh my Gosh!? It's Canis! He's my cousin!" and hugged her cousin before introducing him to Apollo, and vice versa. "Apollo, can you help him out? When he got out of Hyrien, he told me he had a crush on the top of his runes class, FREIJA." she whispered to Apollo. "This may prove to be problematic.

Go to Help Forums, but find a picture, Copy the URL in th top bar (Control + C) and then when posting a reply, hit the icon with the tree, whne you see {img}{/img} appear, hit Control + V inbetween the two bars and viola.

Freija blushed. "Well thank you. You were one of my finest students, despite you being not to younger than me, about a year I believe. You were an amazing tank on the field, protecting those weaker than yourself."

Arekkusu flew up to Canis and gave him a hug. "Good you remember the moogle, kupo."

"Apollo, you had classes with Canis remember? He is saying how you were top in his classes. I mean, he can't be talking about me, I am an instructor, not a student, well I suppose the year before I became the instructor. Yes that is it." Freija said.

"I didn't have classes with him. I had way different classes. Anyway, we have seen each other at the academy."

Apollo then whispered to Lora. "I don't think a student would crush on an instructor, but I don't know. Frei isn't the type of girl to have a crush on, she isn't the kind of relationship person, so I think he is losing the battle. You may want to ask him about it later."

"So Canis... Since you're here, would you like to join us on our journey to travel the world?" Freija asked. Arekkusu joined in with a happy 'kupo'.

Ooc: I must have read it wrong thought Freija was a student

Canis stated "Ok, I noticed your group didn't have a defender. That isn't normally a good thing." Canis stated. "I know that. That is why I asked you to help him" she whispered to Apollo. Lorcarane then walked over to Canis, "DO you still have that old crush on your instructor?" She whispered to him. "Yes and shush about it. Don't let her hear you." Lorcarane then stated, "She is not a relationship person. She gives great relationship advice, but she doesn't have a relationship in the past her life!"

OOC: For smoother reading, put different character's speeches in separate lines, like how I do. It kinda confuses me sometimes, but it's okay. Like line 1 is Canis' lines, and line 2 is Lora speaking, then line 3 is Canis answering and such, but it's fine.

Freija smiled and went over to check and make sure she still had potions and supplies necessary for the trek. "I am all ready, and Canis, welcome aboard!"

Arekkusu flew over and helped Freija check out everything. "Well, looks good, kupo." He smiled.

"Yep, looks like we got everything we need." Freija said. "I am all ready, so let me know when you are ready."

Apollo walked over to Lora. "I don't know how she knows so much, but she never had any relationships with anyone, yet she has advice like she has been through many of them. I don't get it. Maybe it comes from being an instructor. Or maybe listening to her parents?" He asked himself. "Just strange..."

Cara walked over to Canis. "Will you protect me from the monsters? Or will I end up protecting you, hehe. Hmph, well, we shall see. Oh, yes, before I forget." Cara said, walking over waving her hands around. "Omis has these fun little bouts called, Battle Banquets. They are kinda like gambling battles. A lot of people use them as sparring and wager items for better ones and fight opposing teams. I hear that one of the towns' Battle Banquet might have a fragment of the Mystic Arcana, and I need to collect one for Bartholus. He wants to unlock their true potential, and at least put it in his journal before he dies. I hope to partake in one." She smiled.

Lorcarane walked over to Freija and asked, " What id you think of Canis? I mean, in school?"

Canis noticed lorcarane talking to Freija, "Apollo, do you have any idea what she's doing? And just because I am curious about my cousins relationship with you, how did you two meet? I would like to know."

Lorcarane looked around, and saw Apollo and Canis speaking. Lorcarane began to wonder what embarassing secrets her cousin was revealing

"He was a great student. He seems all big and bad, but really, he is just a friendly guy... Like a teddy bear some students called him, others, big bro. He always held a secret crush on me. I wonder if he still does. He was a great guy... Maybe one day, I might be his if he still cares for me. But, right now, having a relationship is the least important thing on my mind. Maybe one day though..." She said, looking down.

"Well, we both met in Bisga. It was kind of love at first sight with her. She fell in love with me. After seeing her and thinking about her. I thought, is she the one for me. Then, one day, we both came out and told each other we loved each other. That's about it. She's great. Don't worry, nothing will come between her and me. Anything else?" Apollo asked.

Lorcarane then said, "He may or may not still care. That is to say he does. Teddy Bear? I could see that" She stated before looking back over towards her cousin. "I wonder what those to are talking about."

Canis then asked him, "So, if someone was to shoot her with an arrow, what would you do? Also to see if I will deem you two a worthy relationship. Sorry if it's annoying, but I'm very protective of her.
