"If we are on Earth, we're so far from home that it's not even funny." Nadia scoffed lightheartedly. "What bothers me is not only do we have no clue where we are or what kind of world this is, but we don't even know how we got here." She shrugged. "And as much as I'd like to blame vamps for everything, I don't think they space travel. There's also the fact that I don't have a clue on how to get back home. Wherever we are, we're currently stuck here until we can figure some stuff out." She sighed. Then she thought of something. "Although I guess I could just find a creature and pound it into the ground until it gives me the information I want." Nadia shrugged again.

OOC: hm what
Having waited a while, the witch got frustrated of waiting for an adversary that may not even exist. Who's to say she wasn't just hearing things? Not the first time she believed something to be real. "Tough it out," she muttered, drawing out her axe from its strap on her back, wiping the weapon with a scrap of cloth. "Don't get delusional. I need... my mind... here." Hellena paused, before whispering: "I'm stronger then you'll ever be, Loony. You hear that? You. Are not. Real!" Her voice rose into a screech, the mercenary leaping to her feet and driving the weapon into a tree.

A branch falls about 13 yards from Hellena, just behind her. A rather tall animal stood on its four legs, short talons, thin red scales, bright green diamond shaped eyes, a pair of horns, and a muzzle that matched that of a alligator(proportionally). It hadn't made a noise while following her 'til now. A low growl rumbled from it's darker chest and stomach.
-- Lucien trailed the creatures from the air continuing to reply his findings in his mind. Last I saw them, their ship flashed into a black hole. This cannot be here. With how well that piece was held together, tells me their ship had survived. The dobowa hadn't stopped moving for the past 20 or so minutes, Lucien has yet to spot anything they could be running toward, or away from. Where are they going?

"Yeah. I don't think any of us really thought of even space travel." Shard murmured. "But what if said creature isn't sentient? The only sentient creature we've seen so far is that dragon, and he wasn't really much help. You really wanna beat him up?" Shard asked, laughing. "That thing made a freakin' wall appear out of nowhere." He grinned, flicking his tail about.

Nadia paused and was quiet for a moment as she thought back to her encounter with the dragon. He did have certain magical abilities. Not only that, but her sword had absolutely no effect. That blow to his neck should have taken off his head, but it did nothing! If her sword couldn't even damage it, then her other physical attacks would be useless as well. Without finding that weakness of his that she swore she would find if she ran into him again, she would likely die fighting a seemingly indestructible magic dragon.
Nadia growled and quickly unsheathed her sword. She slashed at the nearest small, breakable rock and sliced it clean in two. "I don't care what planet we're on. I don't care if we face huge indestructible monsters with magical abilities. I have a reputation to uphold as one of the strongest and scariest things to encounter back home. There's nothing on this planet that I shouldn't be able to kill. Anything on this planet unfortunate enough to face me better cower in fear, or I'll give it a reason to be afraid. So, yeah, sentient creature or not, I'll beat up anything that dares get in my way." She threatened with a low growl. Then she sheathed her sword and continued walking.

Quote: shorty
OOC: A PM would be nice ⌒_⌒ A somewhat tall, two leg walking, creature stepped into view from behind a tree about 30 yards away. It had light blue skin with a red bubble formation from its back toward its front. The belly section was ovular and darker than the rest of its body. Narrow green eyes, and long medium muscled arms. Wobbling toward Nadia and Shard. A low hum in short bursts was vibrating its way up and out from what seemed to be the animal's bald head. Ears like a bad, and a short pair of fangs that suck out just over his bottom lip. Spotting the two hybrid type people, it made a louder hum that turned into a sort of screech. Taking longer steps toward them with shorter hums and the occasional screech.

"Well, your reputation will do you no good if you're dead." Shard shrugged, answering her back and following her. "Besides, maybe we should ask questions first, then beat later...if we encounter something sentient." He offered, though, speaking for himself he really did want to beat the crap out of something soon. Especially after that frustrating encounter. Shard looked and saw the two-legged creature and....wait, is that an actual tree? Shard blinked. "Hey Nadia. Psst." He tried to keep a low voice. That humming would be annoying. Shard flattened his ears against the sound. "Hmm, should we eat it? It looks rather.....tough." Shard frowned.

"Well, I'm not going to get myself killed, so that's not a problem. And I will beat something up if it doesn't answer the questions. And another thing--" Nadia paused a moment, noticing another sound. "Ugh, enough with all that awful humming and screeching! It's going to give me a headache!" She growled, turning to face the sound to make it stop.
Then Nadia paused, noticing the creature. "What the devil is that?" She muttered, staring at the strange creature. She frowned as well and groaned. "Eat it?! You want to try eating THAT ugly thing?! If you want to try it, go right ahead. Although you may die of food poisoning or choke on it." She huffed. Nadia sighed and unsheathed her sword once more. She held her blade at the ready and continued to watch this creature. She couldn't even begin to guess what this thing was supposed to be. "Well, I did want something to do. Fighting this thing might be rather.... Interesting..." She muttered.

Hellena whipped around at the noise, yanking the axe out of the tree as she eyed off the strange creature.
"What the hell," she breathed, still fuming from her outburst several moments ago. "Is that?" Little blue flames flickered around the witch's gloved hands, the androgynous figure hunching over, sizing up the beast. "I can take you," she muttered, pulling her scarf away from her pointed face. "Yeah. I've faced worse than you, you big ugly brute."

"Well, how many days will we have to go without food?" He sighed. "Whatever. You wanna take this one?" Shard asked. Preferably we both like to fight alone, so until we see something that does require both our strengths, I'm guessing she'll want to fight separately. Shard, his ears still flattened under that annoying sound, sat down to watch, but hands on daggers ready.

"Yeah, sure, enjoy the show. This won't take very long." Nadia scoffed, quite confident. She expected this battle to end in a couple of seconds, as she figured one slash of her sword ought to do the trick. Nadia then charged at the beast, her sword held at the ready.
As she neared the creature, she jumped up, bringing her sword up high above her head. She now held the sword with both hands. She positioned her sword so that as she landed on the ground, her sword would have sliced clean through the creature, from the top of his assumed to be head, all the way down to in between his legs. It would be a vertical slash that would supposedly cut the beast in half.

The large beast looked down on Hellena. Leaning in close without even taking any steps forward, it's nose was about three feet from the human. Its eyes sharpened to razors, and its brows tightened. Lips furled back, as the teeth appeared, then out of nowhere it roared practically in her face(this is a jackal by the way, not impossible to kill, but very tricky). It arched it's neck and back to appear taller, to which its tail twirled up to grab the top of one of the trees(a rather large being, don't think Hellena could "take" it without knowing how to beat it) to bring it down. The center of the tree gave away as it snapped in two.
-- The tall creature below Nadia looked up at her with curious eyes. It stepped over quickly next to the tree to allow her to pass, if that is all she wanted. The animal didn't seem to know violence, so it did not run. It screeched again though. -- Lucien was well enough away from the cover of trees, he was using his abilities over ice to keep himself cool. The thermal energy and the solar energy kept his energy use balanced, so it was more mutual than it was negative to his body. The dobowa hadn't stopped moving since the oasis, and didn't seem to be very bothered by the intense heat. The humans wouldn't survive here without shelter with a cooling system. With other planets to take over, who beds a sun barren planet like this one. No wonder that haven't returned to look for us, who would come here on purpose? he kept a steady pace with his flight. I must find the wreckage before they find the forests. He was focused on finding the origin of that metal plate back by the water.

Shard noticed the creature didn't fight back, but he really pretty much ignored it mostly. Well, that creature's gonna be mincemeat shortly. Well, literally too. He thought, kind of amused. Also kind of amused that Nadia missed the first strike. Oh well, she'll get that thing eventually.

Nadia landed on her feet again, her sword hitting nothing but dirt, as she had missed the creature. She lifted up her sword and quickly turned to face the creature, expecting an attack of some sort. However, she noticed the creature did nothing. It didn't run, it didn't fight, it just stood there like an idiot. This puzzled Nadia. Did this thing even know how to fight? Even a young and unskilled werecreature back home would fight to survive, or at least run from danger. This thing seemed too stupid to know to do either one.
Nadia sighed, disappointed that this would be quick and boring. She was kind of hoping for more of a challenge. Oh well, obtaining food was more important anyway. So she raised her sword once more and charged at the beast. She didn't jump or hold her sword with both hands this time. No, she simply planned on doing a simple, diagonal slash across the creature's body. She figured that ought to do the trick, especially since this beast seemed really stupid.

The creature watch Nadia close in on it again. Tilting its head slightly; its eyes suddenly widened. What seemed out nowhere, four more arms came out from its sides and back. All baring sharp talons, then it screeched loudly as now teeth were visible. Raising up on a tail allowed it to grab a low branch. Quickly swinging up and around. It launched itself feet first at Nadia.
Another one was walking up behind Shard. But it was like the other one was only seconds ago. It was humming still, but was just walking toward Shard at an angle at which it would just pass by close to him.

Nadia grinned excitedly as she saw the creature change and rush towards her to attack. Now things were getting interesting. Still, the beast made a poor mistake is choosing a branch as a weapon. Her sword would cut through that branch like butter. She figured her first strike would be to cut his pathetic excuse for a weapon down to size, then tear off those extra arms. Nadia still didn't expect the battle to last long, but at least it would be a little more fun now.
She didn't break her concentration and focus, even as she heard humming close by. She wasn't really concerned with her surroundings all that much, just the beast in front of her. After all, Shard was there, and she trusted him to take out any additional threats.

Shard's ears suddenly perked up and he jumped into action, picking up the second lifeform instantly. D@amn, how'd it sneak up so close to me like that? Ugh, that buzzing is SO annoying! He thought, enraged. His two double daggers instantly leaped to life in his hands, and attacked the creature first with two X-slashes his arms moving in somewhat of a figure 8, the creature being where the figure intersected. Yet, those two slashes were just a flash of movement and, should the creature somehow defend or evade those attacks, the fury of blades did not end there.

The creature was split into the four pieces from Shard's blade. The bodily fluids spurted lightly out onto the grass and Shard. Falling over, the other arms unfolded under and beside it. It oozed out its liquids and a foul stench that weaved through the somewhat light toned organs. There was a thicket of muscle under its exterior, made to protect it.
-- Lucien noticed a rising moon out ahead of the pack. A moon... The planet's cool down time is soon to arrive. In about two days the scorching sands will be a blistering snow. The trees are too thick to die, so those hybrids should survive if they stay out of the deserts. If they run into a foulnone or a group of them, they will no doubt have food. The low mountain waters will steadily increase with the cooling weather. Seeing as they are more sentient than anything here, I might return if I find a way off this planet.

Shard diced it just a little more, unable to stop the momentum that quickly, but, seeing that his attack was successful, stopped and looked back at Nadia for a second just to see how she was doing. Shard sighed. Mmph, well, probably should've cut it a little cleaner. Maybe it's edible. I could probably start a fire with a few branches from that tree.

Having just enough reach on the creature's side, it was cut with a short tip of the blade. Its long arms traveled around still, and with Nadia so close now, it landed the swing. Not quite strong, but enough to throw Nadia out of balance for a second, maybe enough time for another strike, depending on her specific reactions.
-- Lucien couldn't keep the ship piece out of his mind, I need to find that ship. Maybe still intact enough to repair. Need to get to Omega 9. Can't let them find Elyria. The creature had tried to back away, but the blade was too long for it to evade properly. Going right through it, it's top half was knocked upward about a foot from hits body. The gooey blood spiraled out as it fell apart.
-- Lucien flew rather quickly, outrunning the dobowa below. They seemed to keep heading in one direction, for even thus long, there want much to see. To the right, sand, to the left, sand. He knew there was more forest ahead, but there wasn't really much more. A few buildings from the last time the humans tried to inhabit this devilish wasteland. "Nah, I got it." Nadia replied with a smirk. She then cleaned off her blade, wiping it off on the grass, before sheathing it. She then crouched down, eyeing the pile of flesh and blood before her as she sniffed it.
"So... Are you gonna be the taste tester, or what? And are we cooking this or eating it raw? 'Cause I can cook meat, but I wouldn't know how much to cook this without burning it." Nadia then picked up a small stick and proceeded to poke the carcass. She frowned a bit as she cocked her head to the side and stared at it. "Well, it's certainly no deer, I can tell you that much." She muttered, then sighed. "I miss the taste of venison already..."

"Well, I actually prefer boar or lamb over venison. Venison's sometimes too gamy for me." Shard shrugged. "And, I think the safest thing is to cook it. I just wish we had some salt or something...." He muttered quickly hurrying to the tree and cutting off a few branches. Time was of the essence. Didn't want the food to go bad or let it rot. Besides, something might happen besides decomposition if it stays dead too long. He fashioned a crude double-barred spit and broke littler twigs into firewood. "Well, I'll make the fire. Can you gather a little more wood?" He asked as he did all of this. "Oh and of course, bring the meat."

I bet it'll taste horrible. I could try to find some plants around here that might add some flavor, but I don't know what's safe to eat." She added as she tore off a few more branches.
She walked over to where Shard had made the fire and set the wood down on the ground. Nadia then went to get the meat. "I'll have to figure out how long to cook this. I guess 'till it looks appetizing, but that might not be possible with this meat." She sighed as she brought it over.

The dobowa below Lucien slowed their pace as they neared a larger dune. What is it now? he questioned. Flying back around to them, he watched them huddle closely. They all seemed to face each other as they gathered. Lucien then looked about the area surrounding the dune, and the ones near it, What are they hiding from? He then thought to look beyond the highest point of the dune. Out in the distance was a wall of sand, a cloud of tiny bits of earth. "They'll need more than each other to survive this," he looked down to the animals below. Flying down to the ridge of the dune, he concentrated and raised a sand shield, a hardened wall of sand. It curved our like a dome, incomplete of course, to allow the sand storm to pass over and around the group.

There was an odd feature to the sandstorm though. The sound. It was like a bunch engines, loud and echoing. The sand was too thick to see anything through it though. Lucien reverted to his golden vision, letting his sight go through the sands. At first it was just masses of energy, but he narrowed in on the specifics, objects or energies he had seen before. His senses pinned it to be some sort of weather producing device. It had generated uplifting winds to kick up all the sand, Don't tell me that is what I think it is.
He focused more to the internal sector of the sands, and figures, among the surrounding cluster of motion, heat, and electricity, began to appear. Un able to concentrate on the energies from this distance, he backed his vision out. Bringing his sight back to himself, his irises turned crystal blue again, "What do they want this time?"

Nadia watched as the meat was being cooked, and wondered what it could possibly taste like. It certainly wouldn't taste like anything back home. She seriously doubted it would taste good at all. She just hoped that she wouldn't choke to death on it.
Nadia had no intention of dying on this planet. She wanted to get back home. She HAD to get back home. There were people there that were waiting for her return and were surely worried sick. They needed her and she needed them. Nadia swore to herself that she would get to them as soon as she could. Nothing on this planet was going to stop her from returning home.

OOC: well I guess I'm just gonna say it before anything goes array: I have a hidden plot and ideas to go on. Anyone want to try a vote in which direction we take this epic adventure?
Lucien took cover himself, joining the dobowa. He hovered above them so not to be attacked or run them off. The sands started swooping by the dome, and the noise was getting louder. The object seemed to be hovering, there was no rumbling or vibrating. In a matter of seconds, all of this stopped. The sands dropped slowly, and the engines lowered to hums.

ooc: I was waiting for D-o to post, I didn't mean to leave you hanging or anything. I'm curious to see what kind of plot you have in mind.

ooc: Sorry, just was feeling kinda uncreative for a moment and could only really think of something for the other RP I'm in.
Shard tried to watch the meat cook to see when it was ready, but his mind kept wandering back to his old home. I'd really like to work with some metal right now. Ugh....how long will I survive out here? I know I'm not as strong as Nadia or the fastest runner or anything. I wish I was back home. Somewhere nice to sleep would be nice.

I promise, Abby, I will make it back home. Nothing's gonna stop me from getting off this stupid planet. I'll find a way to get back... Somehow.... Nadia didn't know how she was going to get home, but she knew she had to find a way. She just hoped her sister was doing okay without her. Nadia would never forgive herself if something happened to Abby and she wasn't there to protect her.

OOC: ok, it has been setting in my head:
Voting: A) We go with a Halo(the game series) theme(will have secondary question) B) Avatar(the movie) theme C) Alien Vs. Predator theme D) fill in the blank(your idea) If Halo: A) UNSC ship B) Covenant ship C) Prometheans With either one, they will eventually leave the planet, and the RP will be more relatable to the title.
