Megan and Star, on her shoulder, reached Professor Sycamore's lab. She went inside and saw Professor Sycamore in the middle of the hall, standing next to a trolley with three pokemon on it. One looked like an orange and yellow fox, one looked like a large chipmunk creature, and one looked like a large blue frog.
"Hello," Megan said nervously.
"You must be one of the new trainers," Professor Sycamore smiled and told Megan about the pokemon. "Now, you get to choose which one you would like to go on your journey with you and your pikachu."
The three Kalos region pokemon looked up at Megan and smiled.
