Keeping it brief: They weren't prepared, had very little stock, allowed a small group of people to monopolize what little stock they did have in a very short amount of time and kept me waiting for more than a half an hour while they chased a mystery box of Lightcores that they were never able to produce.

I guess I should be thankful that the staff at my local TRU were better prepared than yours. Were you able to get anything?

My situation wasn't far off. They weren't prepared either, and they were DEFINITELY short on Lightcores. I think the folks here tonight totally wiped them out on Lightcores, most notably Smolderdash. I also noted from a sheer number perspective reposes aren't being stocked as much as the new guys...so keep that in mind.

I went to Walmart with my girlfriend and nephew. All the stuff was behind one pf the counters. There was no one else there waiting and once midnight rolled around, still nothing going on. At 12:08 my nephew asked an employee if they were putting out the new skylanders to which she responded with, "They don't come out until midnight or a little after. Ill be putting them out when I get done with this and after my break." I wasn't going to wait so we left. Ill just che k around tomorrow.

Our TRU was kinda terrible and I was disappointed I stayed up late for that since I preorder the dark edition. No Legendaries! Those who were also looking for DI things have to go back at 8am as they wouldn't open anything else. For those buying the starter pack the 20% coupon wasn't working automatically but because it didn't specify the manager was having to ring up the discount manually on each of those transactions. Then he was telling everyone the special Gill Grunt was only for $100 in one purchase and that they should have had them in stock for tonight but didn't. I asked about it being cumulative and he said no $100 in one purchase. This was not my normal TRU and I will certainly not change now.
Then we went across the street and got Enchanted Hoot Loop.
Now 5+ hours sleep then Target in the morning.. Good night!

Our guys were nice enough to put everything that had on the floor---it may have not been opened...but they literally opened up their entire stock to anyone willing to go through the boxes. The guys running it tonight are top notch...they really make my experience at TRU worthwhile. It's a shame they didn't get the help they said they were going to get to help them set up. Their Swap Force display was still not complete as the video is still Giants.

Well. I just ordered my Nitro Magna Charge/Rattle Shake pack online. So happy. So I should be getting my collector edition guide from amazon, EHP from walmart, and then get up early to get my dark edition in about 8 hours from now. My gamestop don't open until 11am. I'm guessing because its not a store that gets much traffic. Will probably be the first customer! I'll probably wait until Monday to get the legendaries. Does that B1G140% work online?

alright i went to tru at midnight and got almost everything. It'll be cheaper for me to get the other triple pack at target cause i have a coupon and my discount, then i will get Nitro too. Then to game stop for the dark pack >.< walmart had no swappers at all. Said they never got any in....

Nitro (still thinking) and Dark Starter (for my son; I'm passing on this) is all that's left.

WARNING: The 20% coupon only works with Giants starter packs, they were not coming off for anyone. I did get my adjusted but it took time. So I did get my starter pack for $50, but I would suggest to you they won't allow it moving forward. Technically they have no leg to stand on since it says ANY SKYLANDERS STARTER PACK.

Mys tore the 20% worked but the fryto lays couepeon wasnt working till the manger showed the casher how to enter them. got the 3ds version for 54 and change along with the wii u. I got the xbox for 18 and change because we had reward tickets to use. So worked out good.

Got two of everything listed above as my store was fair and allowed one per a person so my wife got a set for her and I got my son a set (most are going away fro xmas/his bday)
My son is 7 and was very evry excited other kids were there playing pokemon while we waited for 40min for them to open. He was also super excited picking them up and seeing what they had, thou the event and the time tired him out and I had to carry him in so he's wiped and doesnt get to play till after football tomorrow. Overall they ran it and were well prepared, came outside 40min before opening to see who was there, haded out slips for those not preordering but wanted the game. Took preorders to customer service and figures only to the registers. Worked well. Overall this is become my favorite tru even thou it's father away it seems worth it.

Just preordered nitro packs just in case I oversleep, as i have a 16hr ship coming up at 3pm tomorrow night. Overall fun night

Goals of tomorrow: sleep, go to son football game, head to target/walamrt for there stuff if still there. Then back to tru to get figures for myself and my brother.

No problems with coupons or BOGO at TRU. There was plenty of stock so everyone got all that they wanted. Walmart weren't stocked until morning but had no problem getting EHL. Its all about Target and Gamestop now. Hoping I don't get any griefabout using coupon at GS.

Well just checked Target online and got the Nitro 2 Pack I wanted. So that's done, the only thing I need now are the normal LC figures and some other things I wanted. I'll either go to Toys R Us tomorrow or Walmart today. Depends on if Toys r Us gets their site updated.

I want the xbox controller, star strike, smoulder dash, zoo lou, tower of time and there is a case I want for $20

That should be $100 and I can get Gil Grunt when comes out.

You mean the toys r us one? Yea I keep checking it, hopefully they get their act together. I did just order the LCs on Target because theirs did update a few mins ago. So I have star strike, smolderdash ( which based on posts here I was getting worried about finding), grim creeper, warnado and flashwing on order.
