Alright, I'm not usually one to take sides in such a situation, but I highly disagree with this statement. Social interactions encompass a combination of many different thought processes. We all socially mature at very different rates, and with so many different types of conversations and ways to interact, some of your social abilities will naturally mature faster than others. Add on to that the fact that we're on a text based forum where you have no facial cues or body language to go off of, and interactions become exponentially more difficult.

You're asking someone who's 7 or 8 not to take things too personally? That's a bit absurd. I joined the site when I was 14 and I'm damn sure that I took EVERYTHING so personally, I almost got banned for it. Maybe I'm cynical, but I certainly wouldn't expect someone as young as Eevee to be able to take a bunch of jokes like that in stride. Certainly not when I still have trouble with that and, I would say, a very large number of our older users occasionally do too.

With that said, Eevee, you have to understand that anything goes on an anonymous, text-based forum. Your feelings might get hurt and someone might say something that upsets you. It's not a good idea to whine about it by making a topic like this though. Use the users who you consider friends to help you when you're in a bad mood instead, OK?

We've tried. I remember a topic in RP where we tried helping her and nicely too, she simply just got upset, said we were being mean, when we weren't, then used her age as an excuse to get away with it.

I do understand being that young means she won't be mature, what I am saying is she was using her age to essentially do whatever and refuse to learn from mistakes.
