Gryf shook his head. "Some things never change" he muttered. He had a falling out with him 5 years ago, the relationship was completely torn and destroyed. He looked at Jericka and nods and then looks away.

Kayla finished her potion. smoke billowing over the side of the cauldron and flowing up into the air. She bottled some of it, putting it on a shelf lined with many others. She opened the door to air out the place and find a way to disspose of the excess when she heard people not far off.
"Da*** are people doin' out here? I specifically chose a house out in B.F.E. to avoid those **** girl scouts and jehova witnesses."
Kayla marched towards the others.

ooc: Also, a quick warning Seiki, CL and I have this, uh, RELATIONSHIP, in rps, where we attempt to get a a whole page while the other is offline, as it makes the other have to read all the posts and rage face. ^.^

OOC: I've dealt with it in the past with Spyro-Gamer and VK in another RP doing pages at a time without me. ^.^

Jayla saw someone marching out and looked to the other people. "Ooh... This won't end too well" Jayla said with a grin.

Cassie cocked her head as she looked towards the person marching towards everyone.

Jacob notices Cassie looking over at Jayla, and looks for himself.

Bryce keeps snoring.

Kayla walked into the clearing near the others. "What the hell are you people doin' out here?" She stopped and held her staff before her, striking the ground with the bottom. The orb at the top started spewing some light grayish blue mist, her eyes turned a bright, glowing color as wind seemed to appear out ofno where blowing toward her. Every so often a ghostly skull would appear over the orb of her staff and open its mouth to spew an extra batch of mist. Kayla continued this in an attempt to scare them off.

Gryf saw through her stunt and began to laugh. "HAHAHA you actually think you could try to scare us off" he said, a small spark of his old self emerging.

Cassie smiled as she heard Gryf. "... What are you doing?" Cassie asks Kayla as she cocks her head in confusion.

Jayla stepped out from behind the tree and begins to walk behind Kayla

The spetable stopped, Kayla annoyed. She reached down her dress and pulled out a bottle of bourbon . She but the cork and yanked it off, spitting the cork away, before chugging downs some of the liquid.
"Don't even try it." She said, well aware of Jayla's presence. "So, once again, why are you out here?"


OOC: Cause you know, every woman carries a bottle of bourbon in her boobs.

"We're here to discuss a new foe that has popped up..." Cassie began "But... I don't really know why that girl is here" Cassie said, pointing to Jayla.

"I'm just here because I saw people" Jayla said with a shrug

"A new foe? So many questions arise. There was an old foe? What are you some group of vigilantees or some junk? Who is this 'foe'? And why should I care?" Kayla released Jayla, the smoke retracting back into the staff. She took another swig from the bottle.

"Yes there was, and no, not necessarily... We have no idea who this new guy is, and its your choice to care" Cassie said, trying to answer all questions

Jayla scoffed at Cassie's responses "no idea who the guy is, and yet you're going after him... Interesting" Jayla said stepping to the side of Kayla

"Wow, sounds like you've got everything thought out there." Kayla rolls her eyes. "If youo don't know who he is, then how do you even know there is a bad guy out there to fight?

Gryf scoffed at Kayla's remark. "Like you have any reason to judge us, you have a bottle of bourbon in your cleavage" He said, nonchalantly.

Kayla shot him a look. She then poured out the rest of the contents of the bottle on to the ground. She held out the bottle and waved her staff over it. The bottle turned into mroe mist and entered the orb of the staff. With another wave her staff a small amount of the mist flows from the staff. The liquid poured on the ground rises up into the form of a large dragon, roaring at Gryf. The dragon rushes at him and lunges at him, breaking apart back into liquid, soaking him.
"Waste of good bourbon, but worth it."

"Predictable" Gryf sighed, rolling his eyes. He shook his head to rid of the water in his hair. A feeling was itching up his spine, but he kept it down.

Cassie laughed as she shot a small twister at Gryf. "Neat trick" She said with a nod

"I can do alot more than that." Kayla smiled. She reached close to the orb on her staff and made the motion of pulling something from it. Another, completely full bottle of bourbon comes out. She promptly tucks it back where the first came from.
"What the hell, I'll tag along with you. You amuse me." she pointed at Cassie. "And you're cute." Kayla gave a wink at Gryf.

Cassie gave a small glare. Even though she and Gryf weren't together anymore, she still got jealous if someone hit on him. "Okay..." She said

"You seem mad" Jayla said, popping up behind Cassie

Gryf rolled his eyes at Kayla's comment. He was intrigued by the tone Cassie used though.

"Here's another little 'trick' for you." Kayla smiled. She waved her staff, more mist came from the orb. It moved towards Gryf, stopping before him and took form into a dog, into Max. The dog became more physical in appearence, gaining color, looking real.

He cocked his eyebrow as the dog illusion formed. A large part of him wanted to scream out, run over to hug and cuddle with the dog. He shook that unwanted part away. Emotions were useless, causing more harm then good. He still could't shake the feeling though, and to make matters worse, then other feeling decided to appear as well. He was stuck with either submitting to one or the other feeling.

Cassie gasped. "That... That can't be real" Cassie thought as she looked at the dog

Jayla cocked her head at the sight of the dog

"I know what you're thinking, it's not an illusion. That dog is very much yours. However, what's dead is dead, nothing I can do about that. The souls of the dead on the other hand, those I can bring forth as I please."
Max returned into the grayish blue mist and returned to the staff.

He laughed a dry laugh. "Trust me witch, any emotion I had has surely frozen over, that can not be used as a weakness against me" he said dryly.

"Who said I was trying to use it against you? What reason would I have to do anything to hurt you?"

"Well, let's see. You have doused me in a foul smelling alcoholic beverage that was stored in your cleavage, making it seem like a dragon about to eat me, and you have made a move at my memories to see if anything sparked." he said matter of factually.

Cassie leaned against a tree, making sure to keep a close eye on Kayla.

"I take it you don't trust her" Jayla said looking at Cassie
"Hmm? Uh... Sure I guess" Cassie replied, unsure

"Oh that was cuase you annoyed me. Which I could clean that up if you'd like. And I still don't know why you think I did it to hurt you in any way. I did it to show you I'm not just smoke and mirrors. She called my power a mere trick, I wanted to prove her wrong."

Cassie cocked her head "Hey! Tricks are nice!" She called out, overhearing Kayla

Gryf snorted and shook his head, walking away into the woods. When he was out of site, he sighed, jumping up into a tree and nesting into an intersection of two branches that met at the tree trunk.

Jacob suddenly thinks about what Jericka said. "I think you're right, it does seem like someone's missing." He thinks about it. "I know who it is. Bryce!"

OOC: *casually revives*

Cassie cocked her head at Jacob. "I wonder where he is..." Cassie said, her thoughts trailing off.

Jayla raised an eyebrow as she looked at Jacob.

"So, umm, besides this Bryce buy, what're we waiting for? Let's find this bad guy, beat him up, and go on about our lives." Kayla remarked.

"You say that like it's easy" Cassie said looking to Kayla

"It probably is" Jayla said with a roll of her eyes

"Well nothing's getting done standing in a field." She said.

"We still have to plan" Cassie said

"Who needs planning when you have powers" Jayla said as she made fire in her hand.

Just then, Gryf reappeared from the forest. He raked his fingers through his hair and sighed.

Cassie turned her head to Gryf "Somethin' wrong?" She asks as she hears the sigh

Jacob slowly backs into the forest when no one's looking and goes off to look for Bryce.

Gryf shook his head. "It's nothing." he said. He looked back to see Jacob walking away, but shrugged it off.

"It is too, something" Cassie said

Jayla scoffed as she stood nearby

ooc: Casually bumps and cries how this is going to die like the last ones
