Willow, hearing more and more of "outside," inched closer to the entrance of her cage and peered out. She saw movement farther down the hallway.

*ahem*
Do I need to make an announcement? Or to demonstrate my abilities Ezio?
The great LOZ is back in the game, and on the prowl for a good roleplay to bend to his will

Khim smiled softly. "I dont think that father would mind." She said realizing she had left to cell door open. She checked her pocket making sure that she had her key. And she did. She stood. "Come on Saphira. Lets go outside." She said happily before stopping. Her ears twitched. "Storm? Do you wanna come outside with us too?" She asked softly.

Jasper smiled hearing the little girl continuing to mention going outside. Though the light hurt her eyes she moved to the door and began to try to pick the lock on her cell with her nails.

Storm stopped walking and thought for a minute I could use her to get out of here he turned to face her "how do you know my name?" he honestly didn't know since he tuned everything out

Willow's heart leaped. She pressed against the wall of her cage and let out a small whine. Please, please, please, small child. Let me out...

"I have known your name for a while. My dad is actually rather interested in you. He says you remind him of someone he grew up with." Khim said. She frowned hearing a whining from down the hall.

he started to frown "I have no memory of your father..." he said. He looked around the room again thinking how he could use her

"I figured... Your only... 15. Right?" Khim asked.

"...correct...how much of me do you know?" he asked back, eyes narrowing

"I know a few things not much though... I think you bit one of the doctors once though." Khim giggled. She was looking in his general direction but not directly at him. She stood walking towards him and then stopped a foot or two away from him then began walking down the hall towards the whining she had heard. She knelt in front of the cage with a soft smile on her face. "Do you wanna come too? Im sure they wont mind." She said kindly.

Jasper heard a small click as the lock unhinged and her cell door opened slightly. She crawled to the vent on the opposite side of the hallway and began removing the grate.

"ah yes...how is the kind doctor?" he said with a small smile on his face

"He quit... I think... He ended up with an infection so he cut his arm off." Khim said looking back in his direction. "I didnt like him much."

he chuckled "good...the doctors deserve worse though" he walked over to her still wearing that small smile

Khim reached out and touched a spot on his arm. "Right about here... Thats where you bit him... I heard the doctors say that it was halarious to watch." She said.

he backed away from her when she touched his arm "...don't...ever...touch me"

Khim's arm retracted quickly. "S-sorry..." She said.

he started to frown "do you even know what they do to us?"

Khim turned her head towards the ground. "y-yeah... I do..." She said turning her thumbs.

he bared his fangs, he knew she was blind but did it anyway "then...why didn't you help us!"

Khim winced. "b-because i... i couldn't.." She said tears forming in her glazed eyes.

"...I see...I now know what you are"

Khim was silent.

Jasper listened in on the conversation. She was getting a little pissed off at Storm for being mean to a little girl.

"...you are a coward"

Khims shoulders drooped and she looked towards the ground.

Jasper growled and stood up marching down the hallway to storm and grabbing him by the shirt. "Back off storm shes just a child. Just because you had a horrible child hood doesn't mean you have to crush hers. Especially sense she been stripped of most of it anyway!" She said looking at him through black eyes.

he started to smile "threating me...is not a good idea also...how has she lost any of it? she hasn't been here in a cage like us..."

Jasper threw him at the wall and pinned him with web. "You dont think she hasnt felt the same pain we have? Shes one of us and she knows how we feel. She lost her mother in a car wreck along with everything else in her life. Its not much of a life when you cant see." Jasper said. "She might not be in a cell like we are but shes in eternal darkness. Im pretty sure thats allot worse." She said turning from storm and kneeling next to Khim who was crying now. "Shes still developing storm and out of all of us i would think you would relate most to her."

he hissed at her and tried to free himself "one of us? one...of us? if she was why didn't she let us out before? and she has a father and we have no one, she is fused with a bat so she has echo sound location"

Jasper growled at him and looked back a khim pulling her into a hug. "She hardly has a father. He did this to her. She wasn't given a choice just like us. And for all you know she could have been protecting us. We all know what happens to those who try to escape.. Oh and good luck getting out of spider silk. It wont do you much good to struggle."

he frowned and stopped struggling "release me" he demanded

"No. Ill release you when youll stop torturing her for something she couldnt do." Jasper said.

"...very well...now let me go"

"No. Im good." Jasper said petting Khim's hair.

"...you intend to leave me here..."

"No. But im gonna let you sit there for a while. Collect your thoughts."

ooc We should probably wait for everyone to catch up...

Willow observed the skirmish through narrow slits, growling under her breath with impatience. Once the argument quelled, she muttered, "Can I hold you out on that offer of releasing me?"

Khim nodded and pulled out her key passing it to jasper who unlocked the cell for her and returned khims key.

Willow eyed the others warily, waiting on them to move back a bit before she exited that god-awful cell. "Thanks," she muttered grudgingly.

Leeland is a withdrawn child, pulling away into herself. She will speak when spoken too, but prefers to sit back and observe events around her. She can be snide, cool, and collected at first glance, but her social anxiety just forces that out of her. Once her shell breaks, she may become more friendly and open. It can be hard to get past the shell, but it is possible.
Obvious Mutations:
Rounded, furry ears that stick out a little further than a human's, a thin, prehensile tail reaches down around 3' 9" long. Her thumbs are placed slightly higher than normal and aren't as opposable as it could be.
Appearance:
She's around 4' 10" and underweight for her frame. She has shaggy, grayish hair that has a messy, bobbed look. She had darkened circles under her eyes, giving her face a sort of hollow look. She isn't overly muscular and lacks physical strength; she makes up for it by being crafty and sly. While being skinny, her femininity is shown through her small waist and B-cup.
Other:
With her mutations came the side effect of Chronic Insomnia. She doesn't sleep that often, and when she does, it doesn't do much for her. This lack of sleep has left her with fatigue, irritability, and minor hallucinations. Another 'power', so to say, is to stop her heart for a few moments. While this shouldn't be useful, it can fool animals on occasion.

As the events in front of her played out, Leeland quietly watched from her cage. Her dark eyes caught every image and she listened very carefully, searching for signs of danger. She was pressed back as far as she could in her cage, her protruding spine grinding against the wall as she shifted her sitting position. She pulled her knees up and hugged them close to her chest, glancing around the group of mutants. Since she had difficulty sleeping, she'd had plenty of time to memorize certain aspects about each one, and knew them by their name and scent.

Khim got up and ran over towards saphira hugging onto her. "we go outside now..." she said. Jasper stood and looked over at them.

Willow looked at each of the newcomers in turn, studying them, taking them in... We've been brothers and sisters in imprisonment for God knows how long and yet I don't know a thing about them. Hm.

Leeland looked up at them all, her eyes coming to rest on Khim. The feelings she had for the little girl weren't exactly hatred, but more envious, desiring her freedom. With a cautious slowness, she crept forward into view, her clawed fingers wrapping around the bars. "Can I come?", she mumbled in a meek tone, bloodshot eyes looking up at the other mutants.

Khim turned towards the sound of the girls voice and smiled. "of course the more the merrier right?" she said walking over to the cage fumbling with the key. She unlocked the cage as soon as she got the key in the lock and opened the door. "Come on.."

As the door to her cage was opened, she hesitated while she examined her surroundings. After a moment, she crept from her cage and stretched. She stepped back from the group, just a short distance, but enough to make her feel more at ease. A question swirled around her jumbled and broken thoughts. "... so... how do we get get out...?", she asked quietly, eyes flicking between the group members.
