Common sense would say that the sequel would improve on the predecessor but I don't know. I played TEN on PS2 once and the combat was ridiculously stupid and over the top.
From what I've played, I'll say A New Beginning. It seems a lot more simple (in the way that it's funner to play). TEN tries to make itself seem complicated, really, (graphics aside) the game is just a joke from what I played.

I think TEN because it has awesome graphics and a darker side to ANB.

anb is easy to beat, but ten is a little difficult, but etheir way i like both

I didn't really TLOS. *brick'd by TLOS fans* I havn't even played DOTD yet, it better be a good game and it better be long otherwhys i'm gonna get disapointed. Anyway, if I HAVE to make a choice out of TEN or ANB then I'd say ANB. I love the story line.

id say eternal night since spyro is older and is more mature and the ending made me cry =( just thinking about it sends tears down my eyes

I liked ANB more. Dark Cynder was cool, and I liked the story better.
