I will often post partial information to try and give some sort of 'head's up', even if I'm not really supposed to post anything at all. You'd think folks would be thankful for any (correct) information, instead of getting pissy because you don't tell them everything RIGHT NOW.

I understand not always being able to give full details (this type of thing is NOT worth someone losing their job), but you come across as taunting a lot of times as if you know and you are simply holding out like a kid holding something over a shorter kid's head. I made a comment that I was surprised the info hadn't leaked yet, then, very clearly and professionally stated that I wasn't at liberty to give details. It was at that point, I was replied to with a veiled insult of a reply. And, yes, I then replied in-kind.

When I originally read your posts I felt like you were sharing what info you could for the purposes of helping others. I didn't get the feeling of, "I've got a secret but I'm not gonna tell you..nanny nanny boo boo"
(Not sure how that is supposed to be spelled but you get the gist.)

I'd like to know why this argument even started on this page on this topic no less. I think both need to chill for whatever reason and not bother to argue.

Those that do come on here and have to have some secrecy to their posts are most likely doing it to keep their job as it can be great risk to disclose such information, so those getting frustrated on the lack of should respect any that is given out or respect of it not being given out.

There will be more exclusives that will probably have little to no info before they come out and I would have to say for others and those doing so here to not let the emotions you have from frustration one way or another sway how you post and return to being civil again.

I'll concede that I have no proof that you have a second account (how could I?), but i wont apologize. But like I said, the timing is pretty coincidental, and came from nowhere considering our little spat hadn't even gotten any traction at that point. You are the one that took it to a new level.

And if the account that sent me that foul PM isn't banned (I did report it), I'll be shocked. Well, maybe not shocked ... who knows what's going on behind the scenes here. And I have received yet another PM from this account today, trying to bait me into a response. But the coward just sends me a quick PM and then promptly blocks me. Maybe posting it publicly here in the open will get a real response from the powers that be. Because clearly, my initial report did nothing to get their attention, and the first PM was truly disgusting, ending with a "go die" comment.

Let's try to re-rail? this thing. Did anybody find a Polar on the east coast today? I would really like to know if I should keep checking daily, or just assume that all the stores will now hold these for Saturday. I want to get these last 3 figures and finally give the hunt a rest for a few months.

None of my local stores had her yet. I'm in Detroit.

Ok I'm in MD out in the boonies. I called the 3 w/I an hr from me and none yet. Today they knew about the 22 thingy due to the ad on the in store tv. Yesterday they didn't know anything.

I may extend calling to the next major city but that's over 1&1/2 hrs away.
I hope we get shipments soon. We got LC popfizz in the mail yesterday.


I do want to thank everyone for helping track all the stuff! My son had a really rough time before the holidays & Pappap Claus & Santa dropped the task of getting him all the figures he wanted + Gaints. As we hadn't done SSA I was lost.

So again thank you all, reading this forum as been educational, enlightening, and at times laughing in the way that everyone looks at the you like yours nuts b/c there not reading the posts you are. Ah memories.

I'm glad that the other account was banned - as it should be, from what you describe. However, I'm curious about a couple of things....

You hint about stuff "going on behind the scenes" - as if dark has some kind of conspiracy that's out to get you.

I'm left to wonder, do you think dark and I are in some kind of evil collusion, working against you by creating alternate accounts to send you mean messages over the internet? I stopped by GS yesterday and the Manager started to tell me about the Skylander party coming up but thats all he knew. He didn't know the date or what details other than it had to do with Polor Whirlwind. He was told that there would be an email coming out shortly to give more details. Because of this site I was able to give him more details. Hopefully this helps me in the long run.

I spoke with an employee today and had him read from the email directly. As far as he could tell, the email states that it's with the purchase of a Giant so it sounds like the email that employees received are worded differently than the Gamestop page. I'd suggest that when you go in on Saturday that you're ready to show them the site and that it states "any Skylanders Giants figure".

Also according to the email it sounds like they're going to be offering a 30% trade-in bonus when you put that credit towards a SWAP Force preorder.

Honestly, this is what they should do, except charge $20 or $25 for the reserve and make it non-refundable without returning the figure. That way you are paying way more than just the figure for the deposit, encouraging people to keep it. You also kill the scalper market (who might consider eating the cost for the resale value), because anyone can do a pre-order and get one. You also appease the collectors AND rope them in for the next game.

It really depends on the cashier, I believe only a couple people have had success in multi-coupons but the majority that tried have failed, myself included. Still, $29.99 for a Starter kit is nothing to sneeze at, especially if you don't have one by now.
