Was there a Clear Glow in the Dark Glitter Molten Sprock Dog?

I know this isn't real, but I feel inclined to buy this....

I can see it now, a dog that greatly resembles Hot Dog wearing Sprocket's goggles and some of her armor, as well as her wrench in its mouth. It's clear with a tiny hint of a pale yellow coloring, while covered in little sparkles which glow oddly bright in the dark.

I REALLY want to make one... Like, I'm tempted to get an extra Hot Dog just to do this, LOL! What would stop me? That it's only fun with THAT name, and that name is too long to fit on screen. Heeheeheehee.... Also can't find Molten any more. Okay, granted, I wouldn't be able to do "Clear" or "Glow In The Dark", so cutting those things out shortens the name, but still. Hmmm, maybe I can find GITD paint... *evil grin*

One thing I have never understood about this forum is why when someone posts a story everyone automatically assumes it is fake and has to comment on how it is fake and etc. If you believe it is fake, then believe it is fake, you do not need to post it is fake and troll the user, let everyone form their own opinion. Also pics or it didn't happen is so annoying. Believe it or not, not all of us on this forum have a camera. This is why I never post any of my stories on this forum, because even if it is true, I will get nothing but trolling responses with the 1 or 2 comments out of 40 actually giving real input on the story.

Found this Shroomboom with an extra tongue attached to his slingshot arm.

Nearly died of laughter when I saw it.

You see? We need image or written proof. If I just said "I found a Shroomboom with an extra tongue!", not everyone would beleive me.

Not EVERY time someone posts a story. Only when there's something unlikely/unbelievable about it. If the story was "I was at this garage sale, and one table had Skylanders, and the giants were all the same price, but Scarlet was tagged as $40!", nobody would have said anything. If it was a pawn shop, nobody would say anything. But STORES have set prices, it's law that they can't screw with the pricing, that's called gouging. Sure, laws are different in different places, but that one is standard among first world countries.

The thing is, this is to some extent necessary. Activision is incredibly closed-lipped about things, so fans of the games are starved for information, especially about availability of figures. So we have to rely on each other to share findings. Coupled with that, it's human nature to want attention. There are some people who are so starved for attention, so desperate to have some breaking news, that they'll make up a story and pretend its real. Now, making stuff up is fine, as long as you PORTRAY it as made up. Trying to fool people into believing something false is misleading them, and they must be punished to prevent it happening more. "Verbally" slamming such liars is the only punishment we have available.

Spider-Man 3 spoiler:
I'm reminded of Spider-Man 3, where J. Jonah Jameson declared that he wanted a picture of Spider-Man committing a crime, and would give a job to whoever got it. Eddie Brock doctored up such a picture and landed the job. As soon as this was discovered, he lost his job and his name was ruined, he was doomed to never sell a picture again, due to disbelief that it's genuine.
It's standard reaction that making stuff up and pretending it's real must be dealt with in extreme measures.

As for "Pics or it didn't happen", I see that phrase too much, I admit. But in this day and age, most people have cell phones, most cells have cameras. It's not that hard to snap a picture. And anyone who has spent any time on these forums should have SOME idea of what discoveries are hard to believe. If it qualifies, or may qualify, snap a pic! Chances are that you'll realize in the moment that you want to share the story, when you have this realization snap a pic.

Now, I find "Pics or it didn't happen" is an over-statement. It IS easy to just not think of taking a pic. But we're just trying to encourage people to THINK OF IT. That's all.

I for one do not own a camera of any kind. So if I do see a ridiculous price or a mispackaged figure I cannot post on here, because no one will believe me. Also I also have seen stores raise prices on figures they know are rare, it happens. I have been on many forums for many collectibles, and this is the first one I have seen that is so negative to other users, with disbelief. Sorry I don't own a camera everyone, it happens.
