I applaud your Photoshopping and video editing, but the images are misleading.

^ Misleading? Nah...just good fun. I never believe anything what I see and read on the internets. And since the majority of the US is obese from eating there--they know they would NEVER make the boxes that big LOL.

Thanks! Adobe Premier Pro CS5... lol Good trick about the nuggets! About the box... I called every Mickey Dees in the area to get a happy meal box. Not one had it, they only had bags. Instead of waiting for one of them to get some boxes so I can use it to design a real fitting template, I made the box myself.

Thanks for your compliments. Negative remarks never do damage to me. The people who usually complain if a vid sucks, couldn't produce one themselves or offer any constructive criticism. I just keep moving. Lots of kids enjoy my videos, my kids love them. That's all that matters to me.

^I forgot, McDonald's rarely does boxes anymore---I guess it's cheaper with bags these days--and "greener".

I will only care to these things if they have a in game function.

Yay! that means in 3-12 months we'll see these in the asian mcdonalds! :D I hope they do work in-game. Remember some mcdonaleds bionicle matoran lego sets were actually pretty vaulable after they got released.

If they really do come out (because a google search yields no results, at all!) I don't think they would be an in game thing.. You know how many kids my children ask "do you know about Skylanders" and so many don't. Do I don't think it would be an in game thing sadly.

Good news guys, we'll be able to see what the toys look like on Friday. You see, I used to collect McDonald's toys, and I know how they update their site. The Croods toys will be available in the us this Friday, and on their site the Croods are listed as coming soon. So, once the Croods are out (Friday) they'll change the coming soon section to sky landers/Fijit friends, and we'll be able to see if these are the sidekicks, which I doubt.

Anyway...

• You can buy toys separately, the price depends on the owners, but they range around $1-2
  
• There are already toys that have no game compatibility and sidekicks/etc cost to much for Happy Meal toys, if you expect RFID toys you will be disappointed
  
• They have done country-exclusive toys before on big brands. If one country gets toys it is not a guarantee other countries will get them, or at least the full set of them
  
• You can try asking for the "customer satisfaction case" which contains a full set of toys - your mileage may vary, I personally haven't been successful finding an employee/manager that has heard of them yet
  
• Eat responsibly
  

Some McDonald's have 1.99 meal days. So u could get a few toys that day and feed the family for one day McDonalds. U could also get milk and Apple slices if u want to cut down.

Oh jeeze. I just had day tremors of the Beanie Babies. Anyone remember those? I think I still have my sets from when I was a youngster somewhere.

I don't think it'll be that crazy though, especially since they probably won't do anything. Although...we could speculate on what characters we'll see.

I'd say a good bet is that there will be 8 characters, probably one for each Element. We'll probably get the "mascots" of each, plus some Giants and new guys thrown in there. My guess is: Spyro, Trigger Happy, Chill, Tree Rex, Swarm, Prism Break, Fright Rider and Eruptor.

I'd LOVE them to be keychains or something of the like because there's not really anything like that on the market right now. (that's not extremely overpriced)

And thus, Spyro being born in the flames of McDonalds shall return to the flames of McDonalds

You know, since the sidekicks could be too expensive to have as happy meal toys, Mcdonald's could have a mail away slip that comes with each cheap plastic skylander toy.

Another thing to point out is that right above the sticker for Giants, it says "SUBJECT TO CHANGE" That means that the Giants could be or couldn't be coming soon, and who knows if they are sidekicks, we will have to wait and see.

That's true, but there's also the chance that they're prepared for the cost, and believe it would benefit them more to offer expensive toys that lure families into the store in droves, as opposed to cheapy plastic Skylanders that may be popular, but won't encourage quite as much extra business.

Leastwise, that is my hope.

Sidekicks, but I VERY seriously doubt it. It would not make sense to release a toy only skylander...kinda goes against "toys to life".

But I say it is plastic, Mcdonalds wouldn't spend the money to have toys with new technology in them, the most tech they have is blinking LCD lights on the toys.
