hey figure this, the eggs and guardians live at the temple but there could be other settlements on the mainland, or the dragons could be living abroad.

You're absolutely right. If you listen to Ignitus in TEN when the guardians are talking about the temple not being safe, he tells Volteer and Cyril to journey to the mainland and learn what they can of what is happening there... so there HAS to be other dragons. And, of course... where did the dragon eggs come from if there are no other dragons smilie
