"Interesting, do you know someone from that area that might have it out for you?" Dar'Jo asked.

Glancing down at the body, Teldryn cleared his throat. "Back on the boat, he wasn't alone... There was this hooded man with him..."

Umbra shook her head no at Dar'Jo's question. "No, but there's no telling." At Teldryn's comment, her eyebrows shot up. "Do you know where he went?" she asked him.

"They both must have came here to Riften, other tried to kill you, the other to do what, report your death to Miraak?" Teldryn said, taking off the mask from the cultist. "Huh, I thought this man died weeks ago after disappearing..."

"Then, that must mean the other man must still be here. We must get out of the city, this one will go get his husband and then we will go." Dar'Jo said as he hurried inside the Bee and Barb.

The armored cloaked figure walked out of the dark, he walked towards the group before standing on the corpse of the befallen figure. "I do miss assassination attempts, they were more fun back in the day where there was a challenge...now I just yank their entails and whack them silly". Since no-one else seemed to be aware of this strange man or the fact one person even went past right through him when he was walking it was probably only showing itself to them and didn't physically exist in this realm

Umbra nodded to the Khajiit grimly and awaited his return. She turned to the dark elf. "What has been going on at Raven Rock? And for that matter where is it even at?"

He was contempt with watching all this play out, he really couldn't interact with them as the rule of the divine stated so unless he entered in a mortal form...mortal...a life he used to live before he became the mad god. He snapped his fingers and his armor was taken off using the casual normal appearance instead..he had to admit he looked alot like the old mad-god and sounded like him...wonder what he was doing now.

"Now where the hell was the Wabbajack? or some cheese?..Oh now I remember I gave it to that dragon" he said waving his hands in-front of her knowing fully well she couldn't see or feel him...or anyone else to that manner

"People have been acting all weird, like they would be possessed." Teldryn explained. "Some of them have even disappeared, just like this man did." He pointed at the cultist.

Umbra furrowed her brow and grunted. "Strange indeed," she commented. "So where is Raven Rock located, exactly?"

"It is small island right between Morrowind and Skyrim, fastest way to get there is through Windhelm." Teldryn explained.

Dar'Jo came out of the Bee and Barb with Marcurio following. The Imperial Mage was stuffing a piece of parchment in one of his sachles. "The road to Windhelm is a long way away, are you sure we've got enough food? Water? Potions?" Marcurio asked.
"Yes, Marc. Do not worry, it is only half a day's journey by horse." Dar'Jo answered.
"What about potions of cure disease?" Marcurio asked.
"I have an ample supply of them with me, when you get brain rot once you can almost catch your death, I am not going through that again. But why are you being so worried now?" Asked Dar'Jo.
"I had to travel by sea once, let's just say I got very ill..." Marcurio said.
"Do you think a healing spell will work for that? Sea sickness isn't something a potion should be used on." Dar'Jo said.
"Maybe, I could try healing myself if I do feel sick on the ship." Marcurio said.
"Yes, and if it does not work I'll be happy to part with all my potions of cure disease if it will mean you are in good health." Dar'Jo said, he smiled at his husband.
"Thank you." Marcurio said, the Imperial smiled back.
The two mages rejoined their Dunmer and Argonian companions.

"Ah," Umbra nodded to Teldryn. As the Khajiit and human returned to them, she said, "Let us waste no time. I am ready when the three of you are." She turned tail and began waltzing toward the front gate of Riften.

Marcurio and Dar'Jo followed. "If you don't mind me asking, how far is Raven Rock from here?" Marcurio asks.

A book was on the ground in the middle of the entrance of Riften *The Oblivion Crisis*, by now he had vanished..but the book was still there and touching it would...teleport things.

"Raven Rock, well the island is actually officially known as Solstheim, but the main settlement there is more famous nowadays." Teldryn spoke, following them. "But yes, the island is about a half day, or day away on sea from Skyrim, it all depends of the wind."

"Alright, at least it would be over soon." Marcurio said.
"What is your preferred mode of transportation to Windhelm?" Dar'Jo asked Umbra.

As he came to teleport back into Riften via replacing the book with him he forget he needed one thing. He clicked his finger as his old daedric armor appeared, through the armor had gone through different changes in the mortal realms he was fond of this style that remained, slowly putting it on he felt a familiar jolt of excitement as he was going to go back into the mortal realm as a mortal. You see Gods could venture into Nirn in mortal forms but be restricted heavily by it, had Mehrunes Dagon ventured as a mortal the whole oblivion crisis would be like giants crushing invading ants..

Through other Divines or Daedra didn't quite know how to function in mortal realms in a mortal body there were few who could as they used to be mortal themselves and he was no exception. Forming his old Daedric shield and grabbing duskfang he began the phase and slowly the book came to his realm while he traveled to Nirn..he was now at Riften's entrance and lucky for him no one had sighted him. If he was to be killed he would no doubt be launched back to his realm and not be able to do it again for in mortal terms, Centuries but he took the risk...it was good to be back.

"Nothing like old-fashioned horseback," Umbra replied with a shrug, heading to the stables.

"Great minds think alike, Dragonborn." Dar'Jo said as he conjured up a ghostly horse and mounted the magical steed.
Marcurio did the same.

Umbra just shook her head and mounted her own flesh and blood horse, already saddled and ready to go. Never was one for magic, she thought, taking the reins. "To Windhelm we go," she mumbled.

Looking around, Teldryn noticed the stables nearby, walking there to buy a horse for himself. He was going to need one, in case he would be adventuring more in Skyrim.

He was a master at summoning and one creature came to mind to mount once again, his Elytra from Mania . Not giving any regard the sight of a Daedric armored figure riding an Alien like creature he hopped up on his old friend and slowly went to the tracks to windhelm.

Hey if anyone saw it least it meant more insane people for the isles

The mage couple made their ghostly horses trot on the cobblestone road towards the city of Windhelm. The horses left an eerie, smoky blue trail behind them that faded slowly.

The path to Windhelm wasn't too long, and the four didn't take many breaks. By nightfall, the city was rising to meet them. Umbra could just make out its outline in the darkness. "We're almost there," she said, stating the obvious. "We'll head to Candlehearth Hall and rest for the night, then sail tomorrow. Divines send we're not murdered in our sleep."

"You think we should keep watch, just in case? You know, three sleep while one watches, then a few hours later the person that watches sleeps while another takes their place?" Marcurio asked.

The Figure riding the alien like bug creature went past them the group of travelers, It wasn't even trying to run as it's walking speed was more faster with all the legs supporting it.

The Figure shot a glance to Umbra before turning back to the road as he went past of course since he was wearing full plated daedric armor from the oblivion crisis guessing his reaction or the face he was making was impossible

"I volunteer." Teldryn said. "I do not need much sleep anyway, less than you would expect." He explained, being used to small amounts of sleep as a mercenary.

"For the whole night or for one shift?" Marcurio asked.

"I could do even whole night." Teldryn answered.

"Alright, but it wouldn't be fair." Dar'Jo replied.

Umbra nodded at Marcurio's suggestion. "If you deem it absolutely necessary. Though couldn't you just place a rune at our door entrances though? Most everyone never sees them... I've run into them more times than I can count..." She trailed off as something whisked past her, though what it was she wasn't quite sure. It set Umbra on her guard, but whatever had passed seemed to be well on its way.

"Ah, you're right! I forgot I have a scroll of frost rune in one of my satchels." Marcurio said.

Umbra grinned to herself. I'm not losing any more sleep than I have to, she thought.

Noticing some of the nasty looks Teldryn got from the Nords, he sighed slightly. "I should have known they still aren't accepting us Dunmers here so much.."

"We all feel your pain, it would be a miracle if this one was let into the city." Dar'Jo said.

Umbra snorted. "They don't like me, either. It seems that being a Nordic legend doesn't compensate for the fact that I'm Argonian." She sighed. "But then I myself don't understand that."

"By Azura, Nords can be dumb..." Teldryn mumbled, shaking his head in disbelief.

"They're just slow to change. They want everything to stay the same. They've been oppressed by so many races that they are weary of outsiders. They're really just a people who are afraid and trying to defend themselves." Marcurio said.
"Their racism still is not right." Dar'Jo said.
"Of course not." Marcurio agreed.

"In Solstheim, you will find out the Nords are more open minded than back here in Skyrim." Teldryn said with light chuckle in his voice.

"If only all were like that." Dar'Jo said.
They rode across the snow covered, old stone bridge as they came upon the gates of the city.

"Probably why they're all the way out there," Umbra commented. "They hated the example their brethren set and left. I can't say that I blame them."

"Right, I see your point. This one would have left too." Dar'Jo said.
The two mages stopped their magical steeds in front of the gates of Windhelm. They dismounted their stallions and the horses disappeared.

There was a figure on the boat already, he had gotten there faster then the others and merely was waiting for the boat to set sail. He could tell the fishing crew were disgruntled or paranoid about something but he really didn't care, his time was over long ago.

There was always regret through, he could of helped the empire stay strong or maybe survive after all in his time he was highly respected as the one who helped end the oblivion gate crisis, too bad the Thalmor decided to edit most of his exploits out or make little mention, no wonder when he found a flood of high elves wander into his isles he decided to make them obsessed about worshiping Talos and they got arrested

The group entered the city and made their way to the local inn; Umbra took the liberty of paying all of their expenses.

"We shall stay and eat a little supper, you may adjourn to your rooms if you wish, we will be here." Dar'Jo said, speaking for both himself and his husband.

Teldryn left to his room, but didn't go to sleep in bed, in case someone decided to try and stab him while he was sleeping. Instead of sleeping in bed, he placed a chair to the point where he could see the door without being seen and wake up if he fell asleep.

Through the boatmen had left he was still there, standing motionless like a statue. He knew the guards were watching him as the men must of been paranoid of the cultists who hitched a ride earlier and must of thought he was linked with them.

The Khajiit and Imperial went upstairs and found chairs next to the fireplace. They sat down and started to warm themselves up, they were both glad that they were out of the cold, if it's one thing they hate it would be the cold. Dar'Jo sat back in his seat and reached into another satchel, he pulled out a pheasant breast and offered some to his husband.
"Oh, no thank you, dear. I have my own food." Marcurio said.
"Alright." Dar'Jo said as he conjured up a bound dagger and stuck the peice of meat on the end of it, he put the food over the flames of the fireplace.
Marcurio crossed his arms and chuckled with amusement. "Leave it to you to find an alternative use for a magical Daedric weapon."
Dar'Jo glanced at Marcurio and smiled. "It is practical though, this one does not like his food to be almost frozen."
