Chapter 11: A Black Heart

Malefor walked into the sleeping chamber. Violet slept in the room against the wall. He walked around the room angrly. Violet opened her eyes and lifted her head. "Malefor?" She said sounding tierd. Malefor looked at her with anger. "They don't trust me. They whisper behind my backs. They call me a trator, a threat, a danger to all of us." Malefor said. Violet looked at him curiously. "Malefor? What are you talking about?" She whispered. Malefor gruntted. "And to think, I trusted you and you knew all along. You knew what they were saying about me, what they thought of me and you stood there and didn't do anything about it." Malefor said. He walked closer to Violet. His eyes began to glow a dark green rather than there normal light purple. "Malefor, what wrong with you?" Violet said worridly. Malefor looked at her angrly. "Nothing is wrong with me, infact I am better than ever before." Malefor said. Violet looked at him worridly.

"Malefor, calm down. You need to relax." She whispered. Malefor looked at her in anger. "Relax? See! You beleave them. You trust them, you think that Im a threat." Malefor said. He looked at her angrly. "No, Malefor I didn't trust them. I would never do that, Im your mother and I care about you more than anything else!" She said. Malefor gruntted. "Lies. Thats all your full of, the Dragon race so small compared to the darkness. But even a small race can acheive more than anyone can imagain. War, hatrid, agression a mighty race perfect for an army of the darkness..." Malefor said. He grinned as Violet shook her head. "Malefor. Just, stop!" She yelled. Malefor looked at her angrly. "I've had enough of you!" He yelled. Without thinking he closed his eyes and released a fury of dark energy. He felt the darkness and shadow raging inside him. He opened his eyes and looked at her as she lay on the floor motionless.

Chapter 12: The New Age

Malefor was breathing heavily looking at Violet. He looked at her with anger not realising what he had done. He shook his head and walked up to Violet. "Mother?" He said curiously. He walked up to her. Blood dripped from gaps in her scales. Two of her horns were smashed and lay on the floor. Holes were torn in her wings. Malefor walked up to her slowly. He still felt angry with her but he had just realised what he had done. She was dead. She wasn't breathing or moving. Malefor looked around in worry. If the others suspected him then this wouldn't make things any better. He got closer to her and began to cry. He didn't want this to happen, he wantted to turn back time and change the past. He wanted a normal life but he had to face facts. He was destined to live a life of torture and hatrid and darkness.

'Good Malefor, well done. I did warn you, you will kill the closest to you.' A voice whispered in his head. Malefor looked around. He felt angry. 'Shut up!' He thought to himself. The voice began to bellow. 'You cannot escape from it Malefor. You chose your path when you met me, and that is the path you are destined to folow.' It said. Malefor walked into the corner of the room and banged his head on the wall. "No! Its not me! This is not me! Get out of my head!" Malefor yelled. He turned his head and looked at Violet. He looked at her dead body in worry. 'This is you Malefor, this is what you were born to do! A born killer!' The voice echoed again. Malefor looked around worridly. He wanted to run, run an hide from the truth but the truth lay infront of him. The truth that he was a killer and nothing could stop that.

You might have to wait a bit (I knew I should have thought what to do after this chapter!), I thought of that chapter when I started writing the fanfic but I couldn't think what to do next, soz you might have to wait untill tomorow.

Chapter 13: Dante's Freezer

Malefor looked around in worry. He had to escape, if the guardians suspected him he couldn't stay now that he had killed Violet. He ran towards a door at the back of the room that lead to the swamp outside the temple. Malefor didn't know where to go. He walked around the swamp lost and confused. He walked up the large hill that he had walked up only a few weeks ago. He looked at the horizon. He didn't know where he could go. He thought and thought but then he suddenly remembered what the guardians had said. 'The Dragon citys.' Malefor thought to himself. He didn't know what direction to go to. He closed his eyes and flew into the air. He didn't know where to go so he flew into the distance. He looked down at the trees bellow him. A small river twisted around the forest.

Malefor didn't know where to go. He wanted to stop and find a Dragon. He flew over open water. He didn't want to loose concentration. He needed to find some Dragons. He found an island and decided to land. Ice surrounded the island. Snow lay on the ground below him. A large fortress was infront of him. He looked up at a large tower in the centre. He cautiously walked up to a large gate at the entrance. "Hello! Anyone here, Im lost." Malefor yelled as he shivered in the cold. The gate opened as Malefor walked through it. Two trolls in armour stood infront of him with large blades. Malefor looked at them worridly. "Who are you! What is your name!" One of them said. Malefor looked at him with worry. "My name is Malefor, I seek the Dragon city but I need to rest." Malefor said. One of the trolls got closer to him. "You are mearly a small Dragon, what can stop us from kidnapping you!" They yelled.

Chapter 14: Ice Realms

Malefor opened his eyes looking at a large troll sat in a thrown. He just noticed that he was hanging upside down on a large poll being held up by two smaller trolls. He tryed to break three but his feet were tied together. The large toll bellowed. "So small Dragon, reget coming here now?" It asked. Malefor looked at it with anger. "I don't regret anything, but you might regret kidnapping me!" He yelled. The troll looked at him curiously. "You think you can over power us? An entire army of warriors?" The troll said. Malefor grinned. "Don't even try to tempt me!" He yelled. The troll looked at him confused. He stood up from his thrown and looked down at Malefor. "You? Defeat us?" The troll bellowed. Malefor looked at him with anger. He turned his head to the two trolls holding the poll that he was suspended on and froze them with his ice breath.

They stood like stone un able to move on the icy floor. The large troll looked at him with anger. Malefor tunred to him and froze his feet on the spot. The troll stood un able to move stuck to the ground bellow bis feet. Malefor burnt the rope strapping his feet together with his fire breath. He ran away from the large troll and out of the bulding he was in. He found himself in a large open area with hundreds of trolls surrounding him. Malefor looked around in worry. He didn't know what to do. He felt weak enough just after freezing the larhge troll, he couldn't face a whole army. He jumped up a small hill around the area. Malefor was safe untill he could find what to do. He turned his head and a glowing green object stuck in a wall caught his eye. He walked up to it and pulled the green object from the rock wall. As he did it it sunk into his scales. He felt the energy surging through him. 'What is that...' He thought to himself.

Chapter 15: Frozen Ice Lands

"What are you waiting for!" One of the trolls yelled to Malefor. Malefor walked up to the edge of the small hill he stood on top of. He looked down at the trolls standing infront of him and with one blast of ice breath it froze on the spot. Malefor didn't feel weak at all, not like he usualy did after using one of his breaths. The ice formed quicly around the Troll and spread like a virus to the two standing next to it. Malefor grinned at the large group of trolls behind them. He jumped into the air and released his ice fury freezing the rest of the trolls. A small group remained. Malefor watched as they ran away like cowards. Malefor simply sniggered and flew up into the sky. A thought had just occured to him. 'The others...' Malefor thought to himself. The guardians would have noticed he had gone from the temple and they would't be please disscovering Violets dead body after.

Malefor stopped hovering in the sky. He didn't know what to do. Wether to go to the Dragon city or return to the temple. Malefor shook his head and flew in the oposite direction to the temple. He needed to find the Dragon City and stay there. He couldn't go back to the temple, not after what he had done. They day went on as Malefor began grow tierd o flying all the way to the city. The bright orange sun set marking the end of a new day. He couldn't fly at night. He wouldn't see anything infront of him or where he was going. 'Malefor...' A voice echoed in his head. Malefor's eyes narowed. "You... What have you done to me? What have you turned me into!" He yelled. There was a long silence as Malefor felt even more tierd. 'You have done this to yourself. You controlled the path you folow and you chose to kill.' The voice echoed.
