I went to my local Gamestop on the day Thumpback was released and had the same experience that many of you had. There were two figures there, and the paint jobs on both of them were pretty awful. I chose the better of the two, but it was very disappointing. I think the design of Thumpback is the best of any Skylander to date. I really wish Activision would have executed some kind of quality control to ensure that this design was actually delivered to its customers without huge cosmetic flaws.
