I still think it isn't blood. Until the producers answer our questions, including about blood being in the game, on Sierra's Q&A #2, we won't know.

If it was blood, then why does it look misty and disappear in the gameplay like dust after a few moments? Why didn't it stain on the ground like normal blood does?

It must not be blood after all. If everyone paid attention to the dark red mist after the enemy explodes, then you will notice the "blood" is misty and disappears like dust.

Normal blood would just splat on the ground and stain on there for a while and disappear.

We won't know the rating until the trailer comes out. So knows, for now. Though the body parts disappear also.

What about Cynder biteing the enemy's head off.

I paid attention and I have proof that it isn't blood at all. First, those bug thingies pop up and red goop spills second, Spyro had a trail of red behind him which is fire and lastly, I don't think I got this right but blood spilled without Spyro nor Cynder killing something.

Well, the picture quality wasn't great either.

Pish posh! I've seen head cutting a thousand times and its starting to get anoyinng.

There's not going to be blood in this game. Chris Wilson said that they will make DotD a true E for everyboy, something that the kids will enjoy, if you had listened to his interview on Sierra Gamers' Day 08.

We all just see in October. Maybe Im wrong maybe Im right.

I doubt it'll be too violent... I mean, it's a Spyro game. Though the LoS has been darker than the previous games, it won't go too far, I should think.

I believe E+10 it will be, but E, Noooooooooooooooooo, If ANB and Ten were E+10 (and those 2 dont even look E+10) DotD will not be E. It will be T or E+10.

Thats kind of a good idea, just like in Tony Hawk's games.

I still think that 'Blood' is just red Smoke and ashes, besides. When the enemy Exploded the Smoke dissapeared in... the... air. yeah I guess it was Blood if there was body parts...

And if it is blood... SO WHAT!? Its blood we all have it, and when we get cut it comes out so what? Its natural to put a LITTLE blood when an enemy is killed, no puddles of it but a little, and those are just little puffs of blood you will hardly see it when you play the game, you'll be so excited about playing the game you wont even care, so.... whats the big deal?

*Sighs* It looks like a mixture of blood and very dark fire. While I want it to be T, the quality of the video wasn't too great. It DID look like blood, but if it is, the reason it's so fine and misty would be to avoid it being too gory and disgusting to the younger audiances. I love games with blood *Is a Drakengard fan* and this is really mild, assuming it's blood at all. We shouldn't get worked up about it.
Still don't understand why some people here are getting the idea that a tiny split second introduction of blood will ruin the game. It won't, and it certainly wouldn't cause the downfall of the series.
