Mods for each general time zone will be elected by the users. The gem count to vote is 500.
The gem count prerequisite to run is yellow. Mods have the ability to delete posts and gnorc users. To ban, all mods have to agree and then finally get it approved by darky. dark has the ability to do anything he wants, still.

I could easily take over dark spyro, hire mods and manage this site to be user friendly. I only have this to say to you...

And I see the same users still berating me, even on topics I haven't even posted where they comment in.

Well most of you already know the story behind Kappapopm's hatred towards me.

He started acting immature when Giants was confirmed to not have online and he began making nonsense on some topics that irritated some users, including me. When I told him to stop, Kappa began that 'Forum Cop' junk, berating other users who found him annoying because of his immaturity, and expressed his hate and annoyance of me ever since with the 'forum cop' business.

One particular topic had him posting an inappropriate word describing the users who was annoyed by his childish immaturity, before dark52 deleted it. Him saying that word should've gotten Kappa gnorced I would say.

When he continued trolling me, I asked dark52 if he could do something about Kappa, but dark only said that Kappa's 'clearly just winding me up, intentionally or not', and that maybe I 'should just leave him well alone, stop responding to any posts of his and carry on with my forum life as if he wasn't there.'

So I ignored Kappa, but he still berated me. And that soon got out of hand when other users began trolling me, some even heard from Kappa that 'I get red sparxes banned' and other false claims he may have spread around to new users.

Still today, Kappa is still trolling towards me. After I expressed my irritation of dark's moderation, and berated Kappa's excessive forum cop junk (that I might considered stopping), this was his response:

I am a semi-new user here, and I do think people are harsh on Aura, and dark does a fine job running the site. He couldn't stop other users from flaming and trolling you because he was working on something that will help make the site look and work better. I think dark really should employ hunters to help police the forums, and Blue Sparx could handle the job very well, or Green who are nearly a blue, like Nibelilt for instance.

Dark already knows about this topic, especially after the amount of times he's been online today, he knows the existence of this very topic, but hasn't bothered to comment on this issue yet.

Either he's too stuck-up and proud to even post a response, 'busy' with his real life problems, or he's being a silent, behind-the-scenes recluse again that thinks he doesn't have to say a single thing about obvious problems.

Dark seems to not care. He thinks that an obvious problem isn't a problem, and we should DEAL WITH IT. Well, I think that he should do SOMETHING, and I think most other people agree.

Good but more needs to be done. A shake up of the forum rules, (FINALLY!) Hunters, trolls who are despicable gnorced and maybe a rank thing(e.g. if you get gnorced X times you get a warning and if you do the same again you get riptoed(yes im going that far)). This is one step closer to dark spyros perfection but still miles away. Im not saying anything good yet until this is done fully

I am a new user to the site. I have found this site helpful in many ways. I don't know the whole situation between Aura and Kappa, however from the way things look it that people treat Aura very harshly for no reason. You are always going to have differences of opinion on things on here. We will have things that will be argued about and get out of hand from time to time. It seems that people just come on here to get a rise out of people. Take a look at a couple of the trolling situations that have gone on over the past week or so, the whole Wicked Thumpback that convo will not die. Also, the whole Skylander sucks topic. Which at the start may have been well intended to have some fun, it quickly turned into a flame war and arguements and such.

We also have to look at the fact that we have different age groups on here, different cultures and what not. We also have different levels of maturity, not stating that to point a finger at anyone just stating a fact. I'm going to guess that youngest people on here range in the 12-14 age group. We have some older people on here like me who is 28. (I just called myself old.) With that you are going to have different understanding and intentions on posts. While some people get my sense of humor, others however do not. If someone takes what I type the wrong way, I find a quick PM usually solves the issue. Everyone on here needs to take responsibility for their actions. Sometimes things that we type will get lost in "translation" through the computer. It's really not a big deal as it happens, however like i stated before a quick pm will usually solve anything before it gets out of hand.

I think a few moderators or hunters as people were calling them would help out. Just from a outside point of view however, I think that some moderators that were/are not involved in all the drama would be a good idea. That way they are impartial to the situation that may arise and it don't cause future situations down the road.

Finally, please remember that we should be here to have fun and not to just come on here try and ruin someones day.

I could assist with moderating, not to be a mod but to tell them about issues people are having, trolls that are plaguing the forum and keep darkspyro problem free. Hope i can at least assist.

I have to say i agree. This site is not for trolling and trolling should not be tolerated. There is one user called duck who joined this site and the only thing he did was troll troll and more troll. He has 0 gems as well. There should be report button so we can report those users to dark.

...They don't need to be up now. He might not have even completed the application.

While it appears that it does need to be done soon, this mod thing is not something that needs to be rushed in. It will take time to figure everyhing out.
