This is possibly true, because back when Skylanders polls started coming up, there a lot of people who didn't have the game, couldn't purchase it, didn't care about it, or just hated the idea of everyone's favorite purple dragon being changed in another crazy way.

I didn't like it much either, because of the design and the fact that NO ONE CAN JUMP and everyone who can fly can only fly about a foot off the ground. How would anyone be able to live in the sky if they can't fly or even jump?

But yeah, the original Spyro series was more colorful and adventurous, with fun puzzles and hilarious villains. Which is why it's good to go back to the beginning. For nostalgia, you know?

HOME coz its fun to headbut gnorcs all day. If you havn't played it GO GET IT! The best bit about the game is the intro music! Dont know why. Its just catchy! lol

anyway Ice cavern was my least favorite. I was not fond of the level design as it was one of the few in which I always missed at least one gem.

anyway Loved the homeworld the most.

chasing the gnorcs to their tents flaming said tents and then charging the now mooning gnorcs was the best.

I liked Dry Canyon quite a bit. I never would've found out how to get that last dragon if it weren't for this site's walkthrough.

Still a shame so many haven't played it, it's my personal favorite Spyro game.

It took me 7 years to figure out how to get that stupid dragon. I saw a walkthrough on YouTube that helped me get it

Bash was the first Skylander designed, Skylanders would have happened with our without Spyro.

I want you to keep in mind that if everyone on this planet was voting on the poll, the amount of people who haven't played Spyro (or Skylanders) would greatly outweigh those who have played the games.

I think that the admin has done the right thing, just because he has made the polls about the first Spyro game. Not only has it increased the first Spyro game a little, it could make the first game go kinda viral. Still, it hasn't even made a dent in Skylander sales, so let's not get our hopes up just yet.

I have a theory, that the reason that nobody has played the first game isn't really because the game itself is old, but because Skylanders has brought an upsurgence of new fans like Spyro has neven seen before. If Spyro never changed and stayed with the regular story the whole time, then the number of people who HAVE played the originals would be much higher, regardless of how old the games are. That's because those people would still be Spyro fans, not Skylanders fans. I bet even if the Legend of Spyro was made, but not Skylanders, the number of those who didn't play the originals would also be small, but larger than if it stayed normal. It was Skylanders, which made its way into the mainstream, that brought all these new "fans" who haven't even heard of Spyro. So that's why the number is large. Does anyone agree with me?
