3 uses for variants:


  1. To keep as an unopened figure for my own personal collection.
  2. To use for trading other variants or figures
  3. To sell on eBay (probably after a couple of months when it is no longer available)

I only have one (for now) GITD Fright Rider, and he is mint in packaging, hung on my wall smilie all variants i manage to get will stay in the packaging. I like the way it looks smilie

I've passed up GitD variants and feel no strong impulse to own legendaries. If I think something is super rare or I like the look of the alternate, I'll grab it if I stumble across it. Whether or not it would get opened depends on if the look of the character in game matches the look of the toy. If I could be a sparkly grey griffin with glitter babies, I'd have probably opened my Sonic Boom by now.
