Honestly, It's your stuff, your money, do what you want with it. If you want to sell it, then sell it. What people might not realize is that people have stuff going on other than skylanders and things in private life change. Not stating this was your situation GM, but if I was going to lose my car or my house or have my lights shut off, guess what... I would sell some of my stuff. When I lost my job a a couple years back, I had to sell my 360 to make my house payment. I had loaded lots of money into it. My 85,000 house is worth more to me than the xbox was. Or what my GITD WB,Warnado, and Zap are.

Sometimes people just need to be drama llamas. It's your stuff do what ever you want to do with it.

Couldn't agree more.

Sadly, morals - and responsibility - is why I have to get rid of them. No one bother asking, because I don't care to talk about it.

this post and previous post of pics make no sense whatsoever. what a weird little dude.

you are selling due to morals and responsibility.

example of responsibility: turning around and buying wii u's and battlegrounds starter packs.

It's not supposed to make sense, when certain people come and over-analyze it. That's when I turn a 180 and make them do what they're doing best, over-analyze. Where's the fun in making sense, when others assume to a point, that it turns into what it is now, which is a whole mess of dumb?

I will just help them over-analyze until they get an ulcer... or they realize there is more to life than analyzing another's life on the internet. smilie

Not suppose to makes sense? Good, because it didn't. You just pretty much summed up and clarified why people are questioning your motives and "hating" on you and openly yipe'n at you.

And my good sir, not to sound rude cus lord knows I wish not to get mixed up in this. And I did a good job thus far in terms of staying away from this but....if you put your stuff "online" get ready for people to critique your methods. Its the internet, its not serious business but some of these people here do have a point. Much like the guy who quoted you last.

I'm not trying to get into your business or anything, just trying to make a point or two.
While its your business where, when and how you spend your money, you've said before elsewhere that you had a credit card to pay off. That my friend is moraly correct.
But then you turn around and buy 4 Wii-U's, 3 battlegrounds and a crapton of games....for yourself. One can only sit around and watch you cram these things down out throats for so long before they get tired of it. Thats the issue I have.

If selling your variants (While that is your right) is for moral reasons, thats cool, I applaud you. Cus as a parent thats what we do. We sacrifice our happiness for our childrens. I would do the same for my two wonderful kids.
But to turn around and spend so much money on yourself then brag about it openly to us, when half of us don't give a flying crap, is where the frustration and critique comes into play. Do you see my point here?
As for the supposed "Haters" you spoke of, I am almost positive no one here is "Hating" on you. Don't flatter yourself. I'm sure the only thing they "hate" is your constant need to brag and get attention.

Once again, no hate coming from my end. Like others of stated and its purely understandable, it is your life, and its your money to "Waste". I am not one to bash others for how they live their life.
I won't be replying to anything here as I don't feel like starting or being part of a war. Feel free to just ignore my post entirely but I just felt the strong urge to get this all off my chest.

Those that question here out of spite, do so because they obviously feel the need for drama, as another poster stated, Dunkin. They gave a crap enough - apparently - that there is almost an entire page of mudflinging, in place of mature conversation. To think it all started over a simple question by the TC, and by a simple answer by me.

I love them, though. They are a silly bunch. smilie

Just grab some popcorn and watch the fireworks fly, by these fine peeps, until Dark52 decides to cancel all of the negativity in this topic. smilie

if you choose to put things out in the public domain then not everyone will agree with you and that is the way of the world.

it would of course have been a lot simpler for all involved it you had just kept your mouth shut in the first place about what you are or are not doing (you don't seem able to decide yourself anyway).

that option of course, wouldn't have given you the attention you always seek.

I agree with you. Every time, for these reasons, I start thinking of him negatively, more and more.

Mudflinging? No.

Publically calling you out when you are inconsistent to the point of deception? Yes.

I like how you never manage to actually answer my questions in any salient way. Both in a prior thread and this one, I asked specific questions which were dodged adroitly.

^ Agreed... it's your stuff GameMaster, ignore the haters!! lol I don't know how true all the personal stuff is that people know about you; like you live with your mother and have kids to care/provide for... i have no idea about any of that, and it's totally all your business, but if that's true i do worry for you and your family sometimes, I just hope you're not running up a debt to acquire these toys, or swiping plastic at absurdly high interest rates... lol But as long as you have the means or funds to buy this stuff, it's totally fine and nobody should be freaking out! smilie You have quite an amazing collection here, and you should be proud of it! Just don't let it own you, like they've said!!! I can't personally justify paying what you did for the variants, but it's super impressive that you did get them ALL (I just got a GITD Warnado 3-pack for $50 and I thought that was pushing it, lol)!!! Do what you wanna do and what makes you happy buddy!! smilie Your collection is epic!!

GM78 has publicly stated on many occassions that he works at his parent's car yard (and even then can come and go and do as he pleases) and lives in a house his mother owns, basically rent free. By doing that, he made it both public knowledge and public domain.

Whether he accepts it or not, a lot of the response here is actually trying to help him, not denigrate him.

^ Wow, I didn't know that, but it would definitely be nice to live rent/mortgage free, you could really save and invest a lot of money!! It's nice to have a family who will take you in and provide, like his parents are doing... I hope he will use this time and opportunity to get back up on his feet! It sounds like maybe the spending should be cut back, but that's all his choice!! Hopefully he can get back up on his feet, i mean no offense, but maybe a class on money management or budgeting couldn't hurt?? smilie Sounds like he's in a rough patch, just don't let the spending or collecting be your therapy, it will only dig you a deeper hole!! If things are really that serious, selling the variants is prolly really good... it's just not worth it at that phase... best of luck with your eBay auction GM!! smilie

Well, actually, my parents are lazy and wanted to shut the place down. I talked them into letting me run it. As of right now, until I sell a movie, I make money plus 10% of each car that sells, while my step dad, always sits at home or the casino, lol.

So, if it weren't for me, they wouldn't be making money right now, sadly. They would have shut down and gambled all of their money away.

Now once I sell a movie, I won't have time for the car business anymore. It will be flying to Hollywood, back home, Hollywood, back home... or on set, wherever that is.

I hope by that time, my step dad gets out of his funk and realizes he's lucky to own a business in this horrid economy.

Thanks, Shroomy. I hope it sells too. I just thought it was funny to see everyone up in arms, asking me questions I already answered once. I done told my loved ones here, that I am selling them, because my insurance will only cover them for 10 bucks each, and I shouldn't have paid that much for them to begin with, so I would rather take the money and pay off some bills. I know some mentioned a "Riders Clause," but honestly, I just can't keep up with the variants, some are ugly, and they're clogging up a wall that could look far better without them in my collection.

Had I bought them for 10 bucks, my tune would be different. However, I was a fool for buying them for the prices I did. It's not even worth getting a Rider's Clause over, when I could take that money, pay bills, or go on a much needed vacation. I still have an epic collection in my eyes, and that's what matters. It's not a popularity contest and I realized that at the end of this past summer.

Where's the fun in making sense

Not exact quote, but THAT'S why he's selling the variants to get some of what he spent back on them, then buying four Wii U systems. Not trying to defend nor oppose him- simply saying case closed on explaination(jokingly). *nodnod*

This thread is full of fail authored by GM78. Why don't you sell something people will want to buy, not a car, before you over inflate your own ego by stating you will be doing some jet setting once you sell a movie. I advise everyone here to quit feeding this egocentric troll from now on.
