I would give GameTraders a miss if that involves a dog leg in the trip. They are simply a franchise specialising in the 2nd hand gaming market and have no clout to obtain any exclusives.

Indeed, there is no longer one near me but the one that is the closest now actually buys their SSA figurines from Big W / KMart when on special to sell at RRP or a bit more - lame! I don't think they ever got wholesale stock in?

I'll be going to wal-mart first as it opens at 10am. Buy some figures before I go pick up the game which i pre ordered at eb games. because i know the manager and i pre order almost everything there. They open at 11 or 12 here on a sunday, i forget but will find out soon. Then i'll be going to toys r us which is in the mall, and i know theyll for sure open at 12pm.

Walmart stores are open 24 hours daily so I'll see what new Skylanders they have there on the release of Skylanders Giants

^ I would call up and ask all of your local stores that sell Skylanders when there are only a few days left until the launch of Giants, just to play it safe (I don't think that too many stores will be doing a midnight release, if at all).
