Yes, they are apes. And all of them bear several distinctive features of different simians: monkeys, the greater apes, baboons, mandrils, lemurs, etc.

No, no, they're apes. The game says they are. Many times, in fact. I don't doubt the Gnorcs inspired their design, but they are definitely simians.

Yes there are. Apes. smilie Remember, this series is, in all likelihood, a reboot (it has been stated several times by people from Krome that this is so). Therefore, it has little to do with the original games. Believe me, I've seen my share of simians. If Gaul is a Gnorc, my name is Herbert.

And I just remembered several primates from the old games: Agent 9 and the two secret agent kids from RR and YotD.

First off apes are in the primate order. also by the way they are mandrills you can tell because they have white snouts with blue stripes and red noses.

Zephyr's got a good point. I do believe the apes in LoS are more a combination of various primates, but their main inspiration is the mandrill (at least in the face).

Yeah they are evil! I hate it when you're sure you've seen them all off and another one appears KILL ALL BABOONS not real baboons I love animals just the ones in the game

in the earth place near the end you go on a flying ship and the baboons keep coming and when the HUGE ones come out i always die so than i just kept running away
