I just want the Giants and the New Characters haha I'm still on the fence about the light cores and remodels (more like leaning towards no). I might get the Drobot remodel and Spyro remodel if they have one as those are my favorites smilie Hopefully they'll have some adventure packs too, if they have those count me in on those too smilie

I may get an Adventure Pack or two (probably for Christmas). I'll be purchasing all the giants (if the scalpers don't beat me to it -.- ), and possibly the legendries. Ignitor and Slam Bam are some of my favourite skylanders (other than Stealth Elf and Lightning Rod, which have a chance at becoming a legendary considering there hasn't been a life/air legendary yet).

I'd probably be going for the LightCores, Giants, and new Skylanders.
I don't plan on getting the remodels unless they're thrown in with one of the above, or if there's nothing else left on the shelves.

I /want/ to buy a little more than what I got in SSA,but I'm not sure I'll have where to buy for the first few months since buying internationally is difficult here. So,the basics; Portal Owners Pack(as much as it has an unfair price,it's way too hard to sell figures in Brazil),Series 2 Camo,Series 2 Ignitor,Series 2 Sonic Boom and the (LightCore?)Series 2 Hex,just so I can clear both SSA and Giants with all elements and still get that badass-looking Hex.(not that I'll use this one much,LightCores seem like "Win" buttons for this game like the 999-damage Adventure Packs in SSA)
If I have enough for more toys,I'm probs buying a Giant or an Adventure Pack(possibly Darklight Crypt if the new ones aren't that good);but that also depends on the Magic Giant or the Undead Giant being good and/or nice. If not,probably getting Fright Rider as compensation.

Based on my assumptions, I am guessing the lightcore figures only wipe everything onscreen when they drop ingame. If that's the case, I will probably be doing this -

GameMaster78, you are aware that the Series 2 Skylanders have the ability to switch between the two paths whenever you want, correct? This is one of the new features along with the new Wow Pow Power.

I have horrendous luck finding singles and 3-packs here, so I'm going with the sure thing. Plus, I'd get a spare portal (my cat likes to knock over the one I currently have a lot), a Series 2 Cynder, and Tree Rex.

Do you have the console version? Because that has Jet-Vac, not Pop Fizz.

Decided on getting the Starter Pack for 3DS, a Jet-Vac Single and whatever is non-reposed available at launch. Then I will wait for the Wii U Booster Pack, buying whatever Giants and new regulars come along the way. No reposes whatsoever unless I decide to get the LightCores, those will be the limit. If LightCore Jet-Vac is a Starter exclusive, however, I will get the Wii U version as a Starter.

I want to keep costs low this time around, so I'm only getting one of each element for Giants. So far I intend to get

Series 2 Ignitor
Series 2 Zook (I don't really want Tree-Rex as a main player, so I'm getting a second life element in this case since Tree-Rex comes with the game)
Chill
Jet-Vac
Bouncer
Crusher

and as for Undead and Magic, I have to wait and see what the giants are. If I don't like them, I'll probably go with Series 2 Hex and Series 2 Double Trouble. As for if I'm getting the starter pack, I have to wait and see if I can get Jet-Vac in singles, or if I'd rather wait and get the lightcore version of Jet-Vac. Might wait for the lightcore of Chill as well.

Since the best Skylanders were left out of Series 2 largely, that shortens my list. Chill will be purchased ASAP. Thumpback, Hot Dog, Tree Rex and Jet-Vac round out the remaining ones I want. My fiance will undoubtedly want Series 2 Drobot, which is fine by me. Sprocket and Legendary Ignitor/Slam Bam are also strong possibilities. Beyond that, not a ton.

My kids and I will focus primarily on the Giants, new skylanders, and the Light-Cores. As I hypothesized in another thread, I'm sure they'll arrange the waves and triple packs/battle packs so that we'll be buying more series 2 skylanders than we intend to.

It would be nice to avoid getting duplicates of light-cores and their non LC counterparts but I'm sure they'll make that difficult with Battle Packs and such.
