I read on one website it will be released sometime this week for UK and USA.

800 registered players now. My new high score is all the way down at #15. Some people are breaking a million points now. I could probably get somewhere up there if I continued my game when I lose, but it costs coins, which I am saving to upgrade my items instead. I could also spend my gems to buy coins, but I am saving those to unlock the legendary characters I will never buy in stores.

Yah it's pretty hard after awhile I am 41st overall hahaha

So has anyone figured out if the web codes work for the game and the website or do they refuse to let you use your code for both?

Yes, you can use the code with both. You can only use the codes once though - so you can't use the same code on two iPads for instance.

edit: i guess that is still confusing. you can use the same code on the web game, and then use it on the iOS game but you can't use it a second time on the iOS game.

it's Wednesday at 11 PM (EST), the night when major publishers release their IOS stuff and once again I'm not seeing Skylanders in the USA...

A shame.

I am moving to a new house tomorrow, so I haven't had time to play much. It's frustrating, because I saw that "magic" is the element of the day and one of my "goals" is to break 75 crates with a magic character, so that was the best time to do it!

Pretty neat game for the kids. Man! Skylanders is being promoted like crazy. Can't wait for the Christmas season, they are going to be everywhere and on everything.

You don't need the printed web codes if you have a copy of the full game for PC or on a console. Just load up your game, put a Skylander on the portal, hit select, and on the rightmost tab there's a button for giving you an updated web code.

Those web codes work on Cloud Patrol?

I gave in and bought 120000 coins with my gems. I estimated that if I ever want to unlock the legendaries that I will likely never physically buy, I only need 160 gems. I had 220+ gems saved up, so I blew 80 of them on the coins to upgrade my treasure chest and ghost swords to level 4.

My high scores are now down in the #110 range. It looks like I will have to start "continuing" when I die to get a higher score. I've been avoiding that to save coins.

As posted earlier, we lost a ton of our webcodes. I now know how to get webcodes for the characters I own, but is there a way to re-get codes for my magical items? specifically the shield as its a great item but very expensive on this game...

Oh well, I used the web code from our game, but that is a 9 digit upgrade code, not the 10 digit code needed to login the character...

Someone who has bought multiples of the same character may be willing to hook you up. Otherwise, just play the game and use your gems to unlock the items. You don't need all of the characters, as I can't see any bonus for having multiples unlocked, so just rank up by completing the goals, and you get gems.

Has anyone had issues entering codes? I have been getting the "Server Busy" error message 95% of the time I attempt to enter them. I believe this error is due to so many people attempting to enter their individual codes.

My workaround has been to enter a code first thing in the morning before I head to work. Click Submit. Leave the game screen on the code entry page, but close the game. Then throughout the day, I open the game and click submit. This way I don't have to re-enter the code. But what a pain! It takes 5-10 submissions to finally get it selected every time.

Good news is that if you bought something with gems and then submit the code, you get refunded the gems.

Not had any issues here. Kids freaking love this game. So glad I'm a pack rat and keep everything. After putting codes in on on-line game I didn't think we'd ever need them again. glad we kept them.

Plan on making some sort of spread sheet with all the codes to keep somewhere safe in case the code cards get lost down the road.

Just saw this in the store tonight. Awesome game!

On Saturday I couldn't get the codes to work throughout the day and kept retrying. In the evening I forced the app to close and reloaded it, and have had no problems entering codes after that, so now most Skylanders and items are unlocked for me.

Can anyone confirm whether using the codes to unlock characters in the game is a one time thing? The reason I ask is that I've got two iOS devices in the house with the game loaded and don't want to end up using all of the codes to unlock characters and leaving my wife stuck with Trigger Happy and whoever she can earn enough crystals to unlock. I'm also wondering if these stay "permanently" with your iOS account (such as how in-game content purchased in other games has a "restore" feature and is always available) or if I'll lose everybody if I uninstall the game at any point. Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my questions!

fun, but the game craps out and shuts down too often, usually when i've already racked up a lot of coins and gems. annoys the hell out of me.

Not necessarily true. I got a gen 2 and have never had a problem with it.

How do those people get score in the 100's of millions?
