Spyro's character profile does say that he's a magical purple dragon, so it kinda makes sense. As for the fire thing, said dragon species can harness the powers of different elements, spyro preferring to use fire.

Earth: Mole king.... (i guess it could work?)
Undead: Undead Dragon
