In anycase, these silver Skylanders were aparently made on purpose. The official Skylanders FB and Twitter page notes that only a handful were produced.

I won't ever pay more than 7 bucks for them. Only way I will ever get anymore silver Skylanders, outside of my silver Dino-Rang, is if I find them at stores. If I don't, then at least I have 1.

Wow. So these are not error figures. I wonder what was the point of it. This will surely drive up the value of the figures. I wish they'd have painted them gold.

So we've confirmed their being Silver Dino-Rang, Eruptor, and Boomer correct?

Does anyone think that there's more? If there's a Silver counterpart to everything in Wave 2 boxes, that'd mean there's still Silver Zap, Hex and Wrecking Ball as well. [Wave 2 Boxes contain Dino-Rang, Hex, Wrecking Ball and extras of Zap, Eruptor and Boomer if I'm not mistaken right?]

Uggh..I want one so bad. I haven't seen any here in Ohio and I'd never pay the outrageous price for them on ebay.

To anyone who's found em: What stores have you seen them at? And are they usually out in the open or behind some of them?

I believe there's only silvers in the Wave 2 boxes. Usually when I go to a store, I quickly search for either Dino-Rang, Hex or Wrecking Ball, meaning they've put out a box of the Wave 2 figures (Although now that shouldn't be a problem because no one should have any more older stock)

I'm very curious as to how long they'll continue having the silvers and/or if they'll swap them out for the crystal ones. That could indicate we'll see a silver Double Trouble or...silver Cynder! hnnnggghhh

I have an underpaid job, I live alone in an expensive apartment and I eat well. I can still have enough money to buy some Skylanders =) So I guess it's not that hard.

You do realise that it is exceptionally unlikely that Activision will re-visit silver as a colour variant so you have basically no chance of ever seeing a silver Camo or Warnado, right?
