Well, I'm bored and I realized that I never posted the rest of the stories in this series here. While I am no longer much of a Cynder fan, I realize that lots of people are and a lot of people seemed to really like these stories back when I was writing them. This was the Cynder I was hoping to see more of in DotD. Alas, those were the days.
Anyway, here's the next three so we'll at least be halfway done here.

48. Diamond
"What do the gems' colors represent, Spyro?"
"Um..."
Walking past, Cynder says automatically, "Red life, blue spirit, green power."
The two males stare after her.
She remembers Gaul holding a handful of gems just out of reach.
"I'm hungry!"
"What do they mean?"
"Please..."
A clout on the head for her whining. She straightened and said in a trembling voice, "Red for the life's blood. Blue to bind the spirit. Green to hold the magic and the power."
She had learned to recite the words very quickly. Sometimes, she thinks the words themselves sustained her.

49. Club
Gritfang isn't the brightest ape she's ever met, which suits Cynder just fine.
"That's right," she smiles. "I want the tower destroyed. We don't need it anymore."
He scratches his mangy head, looking pained, thinking hard.
"You won't get in trouble. It's what I want. The others, too. They'll thank you, praise you..."
With a gleeful hoot, he scampers from her sight.
When the sound of an explosion reaches her, Cynder chuckles. By the time she leaves, there won't be much left of Dante's Freezer, or the apes she brought. All according to plan.

50. Spade
She'd never seen snow before but she decided that she loved it. The cold in Dante's Freezer hardly bothered her. Apes glared as she scampered past, giggling and kicking up small flurries.
Cynder was digging out a hollow in a snow drift when it exploded. The sight of her first Dreadwing startled a peep out of her, then she smashed her head into its face. Deciding that she was too small to really fight, Cynder trotted away while it tried to recover its wits, her head held high.
