Spyro fans will let you know if they accept a game or not. If none of those figures you speak of are good, theres a good chance the game will be cancelled. BTW Burning Gnorc may I say that your avatar is wonderfully disturbing.

The LOS sales figures are quite pathetic.

I'm writing a book to become popular and get the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd spyro games remade, as well as getting Digimon back on tv. And what exactly are you doing about this? That's right, raging about it.

If people wanted the first three remade, they could make it.

I know, but who's done anything about it? I'm working to make this come back already, right now, and I don't see many others on this site doing anything else. I think humans just need a spark to light up, I think a remake of the 1st 3 would be better to start with than a brand new one.

yeah remember my fixing the timeline thread? like i said its gonna save the world one day..
The epic story telling of tlos and fun- non linear gameplay of the original.
I say it is definitely the linear gameplay that killed the tlos series for me. The game is telling me what to do, where as before, lets say in ETD, I could catch dragonflies, go flame some unsuspecting rhynoc ********, shoot targets with a tank, or **** i could just go to my homeworld and electrocute some sheep. Now thats open gameplay. And your right, the sales figures did suck

I don't really get it either.
I think it's some TF2 (Team Fortress 2, I think?) thing.

I haven't played TF2. All I did related to it was watch people spam pictures of it everywhere and read a few creepypastas with it.

So, still don't see how related to anything.

In TF2, the Spy can take the form of someone on the other team to trick other people into thinking it's them. Seeing how jac has the same avatar as Prysom, he's technically being a Spy.

DOES EVERYONE GET IT NOW?

its the whole nostalgia factor that makes the original trilogy good. i myself havent played TLOS yet, but i hear its alright. i saw the back of skylanders, it looks....diferent. i miss the good ol' days where spyro was light hearted and easy (for little kids to play). since AHT it's been all dark, eerie and a bit too hard (even for me, im a 14 yr old guy who can pwn almost anybody at tekken, yet i couldnt even pass crocovile swamp).

it depends if you grew up with the original 3 or not. if you did, they're pretty much embedded in your system, they represent your childhood and a rush of nostalgia flows through you everytime you see something to do with it.

even enter the dragonfly was good (to an extent). it was a bit glitchy and they brought in too many new things at once. it was kinda the beginning of the end (in my personal opinion). but at least it was light hearted. and i absolutely adored the honey marsh, dragonfly dojo, cloud 9 and monkey monastery levels)

Sorry, I got it a while ago, but I haven't been on to post, I was trying to see if I could beat the LoS Series in under 8 hours.

Nope. Sadly it took a little under 10 hours.

If that's for the whole of the Legend of Spyro series, then that actually isn't that bad. I know when I first got A New Beginning with a friend, we managed to complete it in a few hours, say from about 1 in the afternoon to 12 midnight. And that was the first time we played it, we didn't really enjoy it that much. We were very disappointed with it really.

I love the story telling and the epicness of the whole thing, but it's just too darn linear, if you know what I mean. I like the open gameplay of the original Spyros. The silliness is fun alot of the time, but I always thought it would be cool with a serious take on it, but still with open gameplay. Check out my thread, "Fixing the Spyro Timeline", its where I combine the two series, bridge the time gap between them, and create the perfect dream Spyro game.

I've seen you re-comment that phrase over and over, and I'm not really interested in seeing any time line about Spyro, I just like the game play and Spyro himself as a character.

Ok, you know whatk=, it seems like alot of people are turned off by the whole timeline thing, so I'm going to change the topic if possible, because it's not really about a timeline, it just started that way. It's partially about a timeline discrepancy, but more accurately, it's really about creating the ultimate Spyro game. So I'll change the name, but in the mean time, its still a good topic.

It is a good topic, I agree, I'm just not particularly interested in it that's all, I'm sure some people are.

That's ok. It really isn't about a timeline. And it's alot about gameplay. If a dream Spyro game is made, we need to find the balance between the linear buit serious fashion of TLOS, and the open and comical fashion of the original series. I could really use some suggestions.

Don't ask me for suggestions, because I really don't know.
