Quote: Skorpion216I remember at the end of TEN, right before the battle with Gaul, there was an enemy spawner battle in the middle of a ring, and instead of fighting the right way, I just glided off to the side where there were some endless green crystals, and just shot electric balls onto the ring from a point that the bad guys couldn't reach me.
I remember that. I found that god aweful and ridiculous. The enemies just seemed endless and kept on coming. It took me ages to do that part (I didn't die, but it still took a along time).
The problem with TLOS is the fact that it goes too far with the enemies. Other games work fine with that sort of thing, but that's because they have a good combat system to maintain it. TLOS doesn't have a good combat system to support the amount of enemies it has (the combat was plain too simple. You just mash one button to do most of the combat), thus making the games boring, repetitive and tiring.
Hack and slash/beat em up games are only good if the combat system is great.
