Year of the Dragon. It was just after my third birthday on holiday once. Then I played Spyro the Dragon because I found it in a shelf, then GTG because my dad bought it for me. He bought me all the others as well.

The first one i played was Gateway to Glimmer Back in 1999. it was the first game i ever played and I bought an playstation 1 just to play it!
12 Years later its still one of my favorite games.

my first one was Enter the Dragonfly,but I didn't actually was aware of the Spyro series until I played A Hero's Tail for the first time.And if that counts,I first saw Spyro when my brother was playing Gateway to Glimmer with his friends.

I remember playing one of the Gameboy Advanced ones for a short while when I was really young. It was my brother's game, though, so I didn't get to play it very long, let alone beat it. The first Spyro game I ever owned and beat was A Hero's Tail.

Spyro the Dragon, the best one ever, the original! I was like three, I was born a little over a year before it's original release. Best game I ever played on the PS1, and still one of the best games I ever played overall. I started playing games as soon as I could pick up a controller, thanks to getting a NES and PS1 as gifts at a REALLY young age. I still own the disc for the game, and I plan to keep it, I still play it on my old trusty PS2.

Looks like somebody is a little like me, huh? As far as I can remember that was the first Spyro game I have ever played, that or it was Spyro the Dragon but I know I kept on dying and losing so it was no fun... smilie

However, if you want to count the most fun I ever had and as far back as I can remember, it was Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. smilie

Spyro the Dragon! I used to play that and Ripto's Rage with my older cousin all the time when I was little! Of course, I was lousy at it. Even the shepherds would kick my butt. XP

The first one I played was Spyro: The Dragon, which is the first game. I didn't like it as much as the 2nd (Ripto's Rage) and 3rd (The Year of the Dragon) but it's still pretty good.
