Nope. Every game map has to end somewhere. There will always be "out of bounds areas.

Don't need to make a fixed area where you can't see everything though.

It's how they wanted to design their game. Many developers do it.

"Hey lets go out to THOSE hills WAAAAAAY over there!" *charges into an out of bounds area* "Oh my god didn't know that was there!"

But in DotD they just made you stop going forward.

I actually love the fact that they show you the invisible walls, when I was a kid, I would always try to get passed it each time I played that level just in case it would glitch up and let me pass, I always thought that there might be something over there that they were hiding, lol, first I would run into it normally, then charge, then flame, then jump and charge, and finally flame, jump and charge. I used to spend an hour being fasinated by this wall.

I don't know what it is about those walls, I just loved the sound and looking at the circles when Spyro hits into it. When I saw it again in Cliff Town I was so happy, Kupo!

Same here, I saw it not too long ago, last year some time, kupo!
I think you only ever get that type of wall in the first Goonro game, only twice, kupo!
And once on Spyro 2, in Robotica Farms, BUMO!

I love it. The characters have personality, the scenery/ animation are excelent, and another thing characters actualy show signs of aging! I have played and beaten every Spyro game realesed, and DoTD is by far my favorate Spyro game. I will not give up hope for a new TLoS game until it is officaly anounced.

I have not played it yet, but i intend to.

I liked it. It's one of those games that's easy to just jump into. I'll be like "Yeah, what the h*ll, I'm gonna play DotD!"

Obviously it had it's problems, and it didn't have that perfect balance between challenging and simple, but it entertained me.

I liked it, it's much more fun to play than the 1st two LoS games, they were so linear and boring, and no amount of plot awesomeness could make up for that. Eveyone's always saying how terrible the plot holes are, but they're not that noticible unless you actually look for them, and even then they're the kinds of plot holes that you find in most kids games.

DotD has its pros and cons.

Pros:
- More free roaming than the other 2 LoS games and it doesn't only involve fighting enemies in order to proceed.
- Beautiful scenery especially in Valley of Avalar and Warfang.
- Good plot.

Cons:
- The controls are a nuisance. Especially on the Wii version. That's the only version I've played so I don't know if the XBox and PS2 controls are any harder/easier.
- It's a lot different than the classic Spyro games because it's too dark and it's not as fun.
- Hunter is too dark and serious along with the other characters.
- Spyro looks ugly. (I know the character's design doesn't make the game but his design is kinda off putting.)

It was decent, or maybe that's because I enjoy near free roam games.
Other then that afterwards I decided to play a REAL GAME

I hate it. I find it way too overrated and the fact that the game's full of really stupid moments. :/

I found the lack of humor and platforming highly disappointing.

I love to hate it. Despite the fact that it used the arguably best Spyro design for years, it sorely lacks in countless errors.

Half half. Some of the gameplay I enjoy, but story-wise I just hate it.

Hate it. In the DS version, it was unlike the other games in the series in that it was a side-scroller. I think it could have had a lot of potential as free-roam.

As a game, it's somewhat below average, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a lot of fun playing it, at least until the flaws became too annoying to deal with. And that was a lot of hours of playing. It's also easy to randomly pick it up and play a level or two just for the heck of it, unlike the first two Legend games.

Even though I don't own the game, and all i can base my opinion on is other peoples opinions and the video's of gameplay and the research that I put into the game, I must say I like it.

Sure the game has flaws (A few to many) but so does every game. The game was rushed but I still believe that it is good. What I really enjoy about it is the ending. Not because it's sad or because it was cliche, but it opened thousands of possibilities to the Spyro fans' imagination. The Fan Fictions I have read are amazing and it's all because of DotD.

There are a few things that I don't enjoy however. I love Cynder, I really do, but come on, you were paid how much to say a few lines? The effort could have been a loooooooooot better, but I digress. The cliche's were a little... Corny, even for cliche's but again I don't think that matters in a game, so long as the story and plot is good. (Now I know Razz has pointed out countless plot holes but the story was still easy to follow if you don't think to deeply.) -I must admit, Razz is probably the most intelligent member that I have seen on here since I joined-

Other than the few problems that DotD had I still like it for what it was trying to be. Whenever I get the money, this game will be mine!
