What irks me the most about this junk at the end of DotD is that we're expected to treat it as if they were soul mates and it makes perfect sense when, in truth, they're prepubescent kids who met less than (to them) three weeks earlier and they barely know each other well enough to be decent friends, let alone life partners. It's a bland stereotype from movies that's gotten on my nerves since I was six. Lust does not equal love no matter how pretty the packaging.
Not enough for decent friends?
My best friend and I became really close in less than a week!(Though it won't become a "relationship", as we are both guys, and we're straight!)
In fact, I feel closer to certain users of this site, whom I have known for less than a year, than I do to some people I have known in person for years.
It's not about the amount of time you share with a person, but what you do and share in that time.
And we are not expected to treat them like soul mates. We are expected to treat them whatever way we please.
I also don't see how it's sick to have teenage couples. It's not like the game is about sex and brutal murders.
^THIS! Every single word!!
