I like to experiment techniques to find good strategies. Then I stick with those strategies.

Yeah. I usually just stick with one of Spyro's elements, depending on which does more damage to the enemy. I've never experimented much in ANB and TEN though

They should just make the enemies more eye popping more than an eye shutter. If you catch my drift.
