I think in ANB they were a different kind of enemy than they are in TEN. They were listed as trolls in ANB, but I guess in TEN they're lost spirits? I didn't really think they were the spirits since the game itself said the spirits wouldn't roam the mountain until the moons had conjoined. And there was the whole thing with them looking exactly like the ANB trolls and me not being able to read the enemy names in either game.

The apes in ANB are so cute with there cute faces
but in TEN there pretty ugly.
